amedave: Where do you peopl get your informations from? Delsu works well with jamb infact the higher your jamb score the easier for in delsu, your jamb result is 50% of the total aggregate while your post ume is also 50%, so cn u nw say dat delsu seldom work with jamb score ? Pls dnt mislead ppl get your facts right b4 droping them on internet because the whole world is seeing it

Heaven knows u ar on point....cos i sat for delsu's post-utme 2yrs ago....d aggregate is d combo of ur utme score and ur post-utme score....dunno 4 dis year o..but 2yrs ago..it was utme score divided by 8 + post-utme score divided by 2....100 questions...25 aptitude test and 75 from d 4 subjects u registered in jamb....jex 30 mins....dis year ayam over-ready for dose questions...provided God's mercy remains constant.....GREAT DELSUITES!!!

Torch1: i filled Delsu as my second choice, scored 216. Am a non Indigene of Delta state, what are my chances of making it in Delsu as second choice aspirant?

which state are u from?....cos if u'd be considered unto catchment tinz if u are from any state in the south-south......eg. EDO, BAYELSA, CROSS RIVER, AKWA-IBOM etc

Gaining admission to study into the Delta State University(DELSU), Delta State is purely on merit. The Delta State University(DELSU) as a centre of excellence admits candidates with the requisite qualifications for their programmes of choice.

Admission through UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) and some other criteria as listed :-
1. Minimum of Credit passes in Five (5) subjects including English Language at the SSCE, GCE O’Level and any other equivalent examinations.
2. UTME score of at least 180 For All Courses.

In addition to the above, candidates must make the Delta State University(DELSU) their 1st and/or Second choice to qualify to write the Post-UTME Screening Test.

For final selection into programmes, the candidate’s average scores from the UTME and Post-UTME screening Tests are used.

The cut-off point for admission changes form programme to programme based on the overall performance of the candidates in the programme and is determined by the University before the release of the First(merit admission list).

Admission through Direct Entry
1. Minimum of credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Languageat SSCE, GCE O’Level or equivalent qualification.
2. Either an HSC, OND or NCE in the relevant programme to be undertaken in DELSU.
3. An acceptable score is prescribed for admission at the Direct Entry Screening Exercise.
4. Final selection is a combination of candidate’s certificates and the direct entry screening result.

Akposy: I heard its ur jamb score divided by 4 plus ur pume score divided by 2.... e.g 200/4=50 plus pume score, 50+50=100/2=50
