stinggy: I feel compelled to enlighten you on some things;
• Zik started the betrayal game leaving Awolowo his fellow southerner to align with the northerners. I wonder why you make noise about it now that Yorubas are doing same. • There was never meant to be Biafra war if Ifeajuna did not betray his fellow coup plotter. Nzeogwu and Ademoyega played their parts well and killed those marked for killing - Ahmadu Bello, Akintola, Tafa balewa, Okotiebo etc.. Ifeajuna and co failed to capture Ironsi, leaked secrets to Zik allowing him to run off. Even Okpara who was in the country was spared. I wonder what you call betrayal if this isn't. • Awolowo never promised Western Nigeria will secede with Biafra. He said if Igbos are forced out of Nigeria, he would have to take Yorubas out too. • Ladipo market: Did you say it was demolised without prior notice Fear God! And Ladipo market has to be rebuilt, it's becoming an eyesore. Every reasonable state does it, why the cry? Yaba market was demolished and remodeled, was there any cry?
Yorubas are never your problem, get over this! You don't know you're saying, truth are hidden in this country! Ifeajuna is seen as a saboteur in igboland why? if he truly deliberately left se leaders, but in igboland if they call you ifeajuna it means saboteur. I'm not a fan of Zik, but happened was that, awolowo went to north and promised them prime minister, came to Zik and promised him the same thing. why would he do such a thing? he never knew Zik would call sarduna and he was told that awolowo sent people to him over the same issue. they saw him untrustworthy because of that act and went and aligned. Awolowo betrayed Ojukwu, because Aburi accord is still there for all to see! you guys are twisting everything in your favour.. can you deny all these facts I enumerated? |

The idea to cut cost, have more things that can be self sustaining and profitable for both the government and the private firms, so that we can focus more ducation,Health and new projects. honestly, I like the road expansion idea, I have criticize the past government on that especially in awka, where people build very close to the roadside, but saying or suggesting private take over of our roads is a no no for me, because we are still emerging economy, we do not have the required middle class to make that possible. Government should step up in image laundering of the state( not going to the media like amechi and okoroocha) but hosting big. Programmes events, conferences, and being in the news for good things. GspotAngela: 1) i am not yoruba and i am not ibo. I have little concern about oba akiolu's speech against the ibos. However, namdi kanu is threatning the whole of Nigeria with war and i am a Nigerian, so it of concern to me
2) that oba akiolu made a statement which you consider as a hate speech in front of ibo community leaders in Lagos who were clapping and laughing with him doesnt give you the impetus to also spew hate ( two wrongs dont make a right).
3) the fourth estate in my region isnt as strong as that of the SW, if you are using ours as a standard, as i assume in your insinuation, then you'v got a long way to go before you catch up with CNN -CCTV analogy you used.
4) i wish you, namdi kanu and radio Biafra goodluck in your quest towards 'Media domination' you seriously have a big issue with radio biafra! your antics is meaningless to me. honestly you do you think I will engage with radio biafra. whatever that make you happy, keep masturbating on it. GspotAngela: what of radio biafra? I think your suggestions should be fowarded to namdi kanu. He had a very large audience, instead of him to use the medium to broadcast the positives and potentials in the SE, he was busy spreading hate and venomous messages. Refering to Nigeria as a zoo; instructing ibos to burn Yoruba chuches; demanding for monetary donations that would be used to purchase arms to fight a war against the Nigerian government etc.
Non-ibos in Nigeria regard radio biafra as the most popular media outlet in the SE, and what is it known for? Violence, War, Secession, Bigotry, Hate, Revisionism, Lies etc let me guess, you know the meaning of hate speech, owk, show me where you have condemned Oba akiolu, then I will take you serious. 2. radio biafra never asked anyone to burn down churches! the same way he shreds other tribes he does worst to igbo tribe, and ijaw excluding ibibio.. Bishop42: TURNING ONITSHA INTO A BEAUTIFUL CITY THROUGH WORLD CLASS ROAD MANAGEMENT
IT would be great idea to get some competent companies to takeover some economically viable roads in Onisha and run them profitably (aswel as pay their taxes) in other to lessen the burden of road contruction & maintainance on the state government. Their major duties: Fixing/expanding the roads, Cleaning and keeping silt off the roads, Road beautification, Street light & lawn maintainance
HERE IS HOW THEY CAN BE VERY PROFITABLE I like what you wrote, but honestly that will be tantamount to absolute capitalism, we are not ripe for that, our government do not have that "much" responsibilities to relinquish some to private hands. what Onitsha needs now is complete expansion. towards the sub urbans, this will ease the strain on the infrastructure. |

I still maintain, that Media is the greatest weapon we are lacking in Anambra and entire Southeast. we need a formidable media outlets, have you noticed that most tabloids from southwest hardly report anything good about east? eg one Emmanuel from the nation. all he does is to report crimes and useless things committed by ghosts . I have watched that guy closely, if I get him he will regret his life. Another thing is entertainment industry. This has to do with media frenzy and hype! that's the only thing, our youths go to lagos for recognition, most of them have a very terrible experience, you need to hear from them to know the outrageous amount they collect from them to play their songs. we need a giant TV on terrestrial and satellite! that will be reporting Nigeria from an igbo man point of view! this will definitely reconfigure the old believe of the South east!. for instance if you are in anambra state and you do not have dstv you will be lost. Our local radio stations are not doing anything better! they I'll rather report what happened in ekiti osun lagos and abuja. Their morning newspaper review is very despicable, they will bring out time discussing issues in ekiti house of assembly, whereas these people over their do not give a single damn of what happens in our region! they have never talked about any issues emanating from southeast on their platform! we need to domesticate our media reportage, hype our state! with statistics that favours us! the media is a propaganda machinery for everything, both war, economy supremacy, entertainment etc! watch mama award and see how SA dominated the whole thing, since when did SA started dominating Awards? just 3 years ago, when one of their artists complained how the TV stations in their own country play only nigeria music. what happened next? channel started bombarding us with their style of music, before you know it, we all are dancing khona, mtvbase followed. The lagos based artists were complaining because SA is beating them in their game! we can do that! they are not formidable as most of you think. what it requires will be capable hands irrespective of their origin, but one purposes! to shift focus and attention! Enugu state alone has produced more artists than most states! yet they do not have the media strength. we don't know that power behind media! it can turn a slum to a paradise! eg lagos. I have a lot to say regarding this, whenever I look the situation I see potentials wasting away! do you know hoow much Dr izamoge has made within few years in Onitsha brilla fm? I can go on and on.. |

By Christopher Isiguzo At least three persons, including a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, and a corporal, Abu Haruna, Solomon have been arrested for illegal trafficking of arms and ammunition. The third suspect, Onuwa Attaka, is the driver of the arms laden vehicle.
It was gathered that their confession showed alleged involvement in supply of arms to insurgents in Northern Nigeria.
The three suspects, who were heading to the North from Imo State, were intercepted in Nsukka, Enugu State, by officers and men of the Nigerian Army while travelling in a bus.
Items recovered from them include- 40 AK47 magazines, 4 boxes of AK47 live ammunition, 100 pieces of live cartridges, one piece of Denin Mopol khaki and charms concealed in a cap.
One of the army officers who spoke to reporters under anonymity disclosed that a police corporal serving in Imo State Police Command was also involved in the arms running.
He said: "When we asked the occupants of the vehicle to come down, we discovered a police corporal in uniform among them.
The corporal on getting down pretended to be pressed; he later ran away". It was gathered that the suspects were taken to Nsukka Police Division before their transfer to the state CID.
The retired DSP, Abu Haruna, confessed that he had been in the business of arms dealing since he retired from the police.
He said their mission was to supply the ammunition to their buyer in Taraba State. The source said Haruna further confessed that they decided to go on the supply after the buyer complained that the first batch was incomplete.
The Police corporal's identity has been traced to Imo State Police command; his name was simply given as Solomon, even as efforts are still being made to effect his arrest.
Meanwhile, the Nsukka Police Area Commander, ASP. Ros-Amson Haladu has praised the gallantry of the soldiers in combating crimes in the area.
"I want to commend the Army Officers for their vigilance in tracking down these illegal arms dealers.
"At the same time, I warn criminals to leave this vicinity or risk being apprehended by security operatives", he said.

bilms: 15 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IGBO AND BIAFRA By Mr.Rights
After observing some Igbo people carefully, I took adequate note of the way they reason, listen to their point of views, understood their fears and worries and seek to understand their unending quest for dominance, under the guise of self determination or lack of justice in Nigeria.
I came to the following conclusion:
1. There are two kind of Igbo. We have the Igbo and sectional Igbo. The Igbo person will always think global even if he his the most local, while the sectional Igbo will always reason sectional even if he his in the global community. To an igbo person, there is no superiority or inferiority, all that exists is equality. But to the sectional Igbo, Igbo is superior, others are inferior.
2. An Igbo person is the best of any human you can find, but the sectional Igbo is the worst of all human. It doesn’t matter how much they are educated, what mattered to a sectional person is his sectionalism. But this is not just about Igbo, it’s a symptom in every tribalistic person. Every sectional person, be it an Hausa or Yoruba are worse of all humans. At a time when the global community is integrating and finding means of getting more united, it is a sad thing that in Africa, especially in Nigeria which should serve as model for other African countries, we still have people who think the only means of integration and self determination is causing division. No wonder Africa remain backward.
3. Igbo is cool, calm, reasonable and often reserve, when you meet one, he or she is a treasure to behold. But the sectional igbo is arrogant and sometimes unreasonable, they are the lousy type who makes unnecessary noise to get undeserved attention.
4. Igbo hates tribalism, but sectional igbo is proud of his tribalism. He his not only discriminatory against other tribes in Nigeria, he his equally discriminatory to his fellow igbo whom he considers as lesser igbo. E.g, A sectional igbo from Anambra would discriminate against Igbo from Imo. 5. The most unjust Nigerian is a sectional Igbo, who hide under self determination to cause the death of over 2million Igbo’s without tendering any apology or showing sign of remorse, yet still nursing the ambition of leading more igbo to cause disobedience of the state. While he and his families are safe, he calls the gullible poor to the war front in his quest for fame, popularity and to grab power at all cost using the blood of his poor tribal men and women..
6. Kill a whole elephant for a sectional igbo to eat, he or she may still accuse you of marginalizing igbo for failing to give them the snail.
http://mrrightsng..com/2015/07/15-things-you-need-to-know-about-igbo.html when will you mad people stop? There is nothing like "sectional" igbo! What is the name of your school? Your case is very pathetic. Listen up! This write up is geared towards dividing the igbos. Those that will accept to be "good" igbo and those that are sectional igbo. This write up is aimed at making some gullible igbos to start speaking against Biafra. Let me educate you illiterate, there is nothing like sectional! What you have is CONSERVATIVE indigenous people! They are everywhere in yoruba, in hausa in England in Germany! These group of people are the people that keep society alive!else the culture and the spice of that society will vanish. Igbos have lesser number of the conservative than all the major tribes. The conservative are the bed rock of the igboland, they build hall, civic centre, market, schools roads etc in their communities, they fight to keep their society intact. You lots should give it a break, you have said enough! Whether you guys like it or not the conservatives are the movers and shakers of the society! They vote, protest and agitate, while the liberals behave like sheeps without a shepard, their thoughts are a short term deal, while conservative's thought are long term deal.. leave igbo alone. You guys are beginning to sound like a broken record.. |

waffle: Nasarawa State governor, Tanko Al-Makura has said the former minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, is responsible for pitching President Goodluck Jonathan against the North while in office, saying his divisive tendencies along ethnic and religious lines, helped fuel the recurrent crisis in Nasarawa State.
Maku, had at a press briefing in Abuja at the weekend, alleged among other things that innocent citizens had continued to be killed by gunmen as a result of what he described as the “insensitivity” in handling the security situation in the state by the state government which he claimed would have been addressed if he was sworn in as governor of the state in May, this year.
But in a swift reaction on yesterday, the Special Assistant to the governor on Media and Publicity, Ahmed Tukur, said it was rather unfortunate that Maku who had ignored invitations extended to him and other stakeholders on several occasions to brainstorm towards finding lasting solution to the communal crisis in recent past could make unguarded utterances when the state government has succeeded in overcoming the situation.
He alleged that the insecurity in the state in recent past became worse as there was an increase in the proliferation of arms and ammunition when Maku held sway as the supervising minister of Defence, insisting that the former minister should rather commend his boss for the relative peace being enjoyed in the state.

Leopardd: Pls kindly shut up. Even if we don't have, do u know that it is Radio Biafra that is making Obiano and Ikpeazu sit up? Nnamdi Kanu is a very powerful demagogue, let him keep up the work. I stay outside shores of Nigeria sometimes, and I can tell you many Biafrans who lost lost of ever identifying with home, have been uniting with one voice. Kanu has many followers, people who have lived in organized climes for long. These people are ashamed of what is happening in Nigeria, and as they promised, giving the conditions, they will come in and help develop our land.
I believe Biafra will not be like any other African country. People want to come home, my friends and brothers want to, all of them. You can't tell me when they do that they cannot contribute something, but unfortunately that thing that made millions of them go outside, is making them not wanting to be back.
Nnamdi Kanu is uniting people, I was in Malaysia on May30th, when I saw pictures of event in Aba, I was marveled, even the video sent chills down my spine.
Don't undermine such a demagogue, u will notice that people Eastern governors will sit up, some are doing so. My friend told me even Wike listens to Radio Biafra.
Even though Nnamdi Kanu type of leadership may not be what u want, but believe me it is making people stand up for what they believe in. I mean it is popular opinion that Radio Biafra made Anambra people close their markets and protest against relocation of BH terrorists, which is a good thing, and hey sustained it. He appealed to Aba people to also protest by locking their shops, and whole of Aba will he on lockdown come Tuesday this week, even the other guy at Ogba osisi, who questioned the decision was seen as an enemy, and he changed his stance once. But these are people they will make u believe can never leave their shops for an hour.
Everything happening shows our people are uniting, people are seeing the bigger picture, even as it stands now, if the whole Eastern region demand for something, they will like get it.
Don't underestimate a DEMAGOGUE. At the absense of a "leader" they come in and they control lots of people.
U won't understand. don't mind them, they will never understand, all the se governors are afraid of the guy... He makes them look like local chaimen in the eyes of people now.. |

Pope is in support of Palestine (muslim) against isreal (children of God) Y dividing the Jerusalem into two. 5. Christian leaders are responsible for the killings of the Christians, they will always tell them to calm down while their children are abroad. Nobody has a monopoly to violence, in India, Muslims do not kill because they will be killed too, if they try it. 6. Well, maybe that's a story for another day. Actually, after trying to tell the Igbos the truth, that the Akwa Cross tribes would not be dragged into war like Ojukwu did, on a non sentimental forum like Nairaland, all I could get was being banned from opening new topics. And I believe it was perpetrated not by my beloved Seen, but some ethnic bigot insane Igbo mods. Thank God am delivered.
Reading a post that confirms the fact that 88% of those convicted of drug trafficking in Indonesia, from Nigeria are the Igbos, I begin to wonder the type of country Biafra would be.
When Dora was fighting fake drugs, at a point, she discovered she was fighting her kinsmen.
The Akwa Cross tribes are fighting for freedom. For emancipation from slavery and marginalization. But we would never be cowed into a microcosm of the zoo. A country we would have to start another fight for resource control. Where fake drugs would be a threat to our people.
We strongly believe that if, a Nigeria with true federalism is not possible, or a Confederate Niger Delta republic then, a sovereign Akwa-Cross republic is possible.
