We have a President now. Nigeria is becoming the Giant it's known to be. Let the effects of the policy be felt before u start making mouth, the cost of things are still so high above the reach of the masses, so time will tell if the president performed or not. It is clear to all that Buhari messed up and was clueless about leadership. |

Man U became a dominant force with academy plays not merchinaries like Pepe uses. Beckham, Scholes, Giggs , Neville etc all academy and the core of the 99 team. Make Pep try am. He goes to teams wit unlimited budget. He can get any player in the world and they won’t drag price.
Why do you think Premier league has 115 charges against Man city for irregularities.
Even UEFA banned team from Champions league before they appealed for faking revenue and laundering.
Man city was already win the league with Mancini and Pellegrini before Guardiola
To ur stupid question of coaches. Have u heard of Bryan robson? Mark Hughes , Ole . At least 32 ppl have become coaches from Under SAF. At Barce Pep used academy players and sold the big names likes of Deco, Ronaldinho and he still won treble |

NLC should go on strike for minimum wage, SW and North should also join the struggle. It's beyond Obi and Igbos Is not about Minimum wage bro, there must be viable options like fixing the refineries, what about those that are not civil servants |

Politics › Re: Tinubu Has Solution For Impact Of Subsidy Removal, Says Oshiomhole (Video) by patrickcollins: 8:35am On Jun 05, 2023 |
LeoDeKing: It appears the only solution to this issue of fuel subsidy removal is increase in wages.
But when wages are increased, prices of commodities will respond in the usual language which in effect dampens the increase in wages.
NLC will then start negotiating for another salary increase and if govt obliged again, the cycle is repeated.
We expect govt officials to be resourceful rather than simply following popular demands for wage increase as that will in effect portray them as just empty opportunists struggling to just control the resources.
Get experts in relevant fields to address this issue, I don't subscribe to increase in wages. Minimum wage has not been increased but prices have already skyrocketed. How do u reconcile it from your write up. |

We're not going back to the dark days Petrol was subsidize Which Nigerians are ready to suffer, why are the ruling class not ready to suffer. Since Nigeria has been declared broke, national assemblies should fit the bill of their bogus lifestyle, they should buy their own vehicle from their salary, buy their furnitures too, the president and ministers should do same. What about the security votes they collect for doing nothing. |

nairalanda1: This is what happens when you put aside something that should have been done for decades till it gets too too worse.
This subsidy of a thing should have gone since 1993, if not earlier. By now, we would have adjusted, and moved on. Instead, we are facing the thing we should have faced decades ago.
Anyway it is gone for good now, hopefully. And yeah high prices are very painful.....but the pain of being so broke that no one would give you any more loans....as seen in Sri Lanka recently....is far far worse. It was done in 2012 by Goodluck Jonathan Administration but Tinubu, Buhari, Osho baba and their allys protested but all of them kept mute now, that would have been a better time to remove subsidy and the price would have been less than 100 naira but the evil politicians fought so hard |

Lama70: My brother, it was a major political miscalculation on Aregbe's end. How he made that major slip is still a mystery to me.
Accirding to James Hadley Chase, "it is when a guy gets so full of confidence that he's wide open for a sucker punch". Aregbe really overreached himself. Anyway, it's his funeral.
When a supposed dependable ally becomes a political turncoat he gets the end of the stick in this manner. This is poetic justice.
Gbaja is a beneficiary today because of steadfastness and loyalty. I hope other future "traitors" are watching and learning at the same time.
Aregbe goofed big time! The way u guys see politics in Nigeria is tiring, what does not supporting a particular candidate who emerged president even though he was an old ally a miscalculation, tell me what does he stand to lose not serving in his cabinet, for me nothing, unless u are in support of them going to the appointed positions to steal tax payers money and not to work. |

It’s not a time to celebrate but hit the ground running. A lot is at stake and “REDEMPTION” is the watch word. In Nigerian politics nobody is hitting the ground running, but their personal interest. He was in the national assembly for 20 years what did he achieve for his constituency, he will surely disappoint him by being part of the cabals that will rule by proxy |
