I disagree about Chelsea. The end of the season saved them last season. They were already losing winnable games.

Cup games are not the same as league games so the UCL victory doesn’t paper over the cracks.

Have you noticed how vulnerable they become immediately they go one goal up? Sure, coach may be good but that team mentality and cohesiveness is not there.

Utd, City and Liverpool are ahead of them in this regard.

Chelsea achieved their goal and the end of it. I can even argue that they were distracted...

It gets more interesting for them that they have added Lukaku who guarantees over 20 league goals, that's a huge plus for them. Their squad depth is another big plus for them. At a time when fatigue will set in, I expect them to ride through that phase...You should imagine this Chelsea team when they hit top gear because I think you are mistaking their present form for their best form.

I will not categorically say Liverpool and City are ahead of them talk less of Manchester United...Chelsea showed at Anfield that when they up their game, they can go toe to toe with the very best. Next weekend, I am tipping them to beat City again...

It’s difficult to say at the moment.

Last season we started badly and were topping by December. Then we lost steam and surrendered to City.

We started well this season and Ole has a better squad. With these improvements, the answer to that question should be pretty clear but Ole’s bizarre decisions (or lack of) will make you hesitate.

So, even with those improvements I can’t say, at this point, if we’ll be contenders- mainly because of Ole.

The reason I might think Liverpool and City are contenders at this point is because they’ve done it before. They’ve gone on incredible winning runs. Klopp’s squad is rustier than Pep. That’s why it seems I’m tipping City over Liverpool.

If we had a better coach then we’d be deemed contenders at this point too.

This doesn’t mean we aren’t contenders at all, it only means that things are not clear yet for us. We can still grow into the season, emerge contenders and eventually win it.

Chelsea are not playing their best football yet are winning games. That for me is a sign that they're going to fight for the title all the way...

City not signing a striker Wil be their greatest undoing. Liverpool are strong contenders as long as VVD and their other CBs remain fit. Good thing for Liverpool is that Klopp seems to have learnt, early days but he is already rotating his team and fairly well...

How we lose games/dropped points is quite important. The lackadaisical attitude we display when we drop points has been a recurring occurrence. Only the coach is to blame for that.

Our opponent can be tough or soft but the important thing is we must always be tough, especially against those tough opponents. We have to create chances, force fouls in dangerous areas, etc. That’s how to score against tough opponents. Sadly, we’re often toothless against those type of tough opponents.

To me Ole is just a younger, more naive version of Ancelloti. I no dey really see their tactics or philosophy. They just go with the flow. Aim is just to win matches, that's all. Doesn't matter how you play. It all depends on how the opponents approach the game.

Carlo Ancelloti is a very good coach...The same Bayern that Madrid thrashed with Pep as their coach is the one Carlo almost used to eliminate Madrid...

If Carlo had joined Bayern immediately after Jupp left, I am certain he'd have won the UCL with that Bayern team. Ole teams for one doesn't have a defined pattern of play nor do we see his tactical inputs in the course of a match...

Did TAA attack AC Milan? Was VVD in the pitch?

TAA is defensively poor based on the eye test when Liverpool come up against their equals. Robertson does attack as much as him but you hardly find him wanting defensively...

Saying that Klopp needs to deliberately set up to cover for him was spot on by Roland17. Liverpool have the best wing backs in the league so, a switch to 3 5 2 will really favor them more so than Chelsea as it will mask the defensive lapses of TAA whilst promoting his attacking play...

AWB is the least intelligent defender we have, he is positionally poor and in attack, he is nothing to write home about.
