Havertz10: Human nature we all saw havertz against madrid, city, england and portugal
Yet you talk about him, like if he has never ever performed enough to justify his reputed tags
Tuchel has been playing him on the left, watch highlights of those games and tell me where havertz played
When has mount performed and was the stand out performer, when did you watch mount play and say to yourself this guy is going to be a star, go and re watch that Madrid game and see what havertz did to that defense
Pulisic and Hudson Odoi are suddenly the ones kante that can't play a through pass to save his life is suddenly the one
What happens when either of kovacic, jorginho or kante gets injured while playing all 3 in the same game, we also have Juventus 4 days later
Big picture thinking is very absent here, it's to be reactionary and gather insignificant likes for walking on the fence that you guys are skilled at How is his performance for Germany against Portugal and England of relevance to Chelsea? Is he paid weekly to perform for Germany or Chelsea? If you want to defend him, use his performance for Chelsea and Chelsea alone... |

But will he leave Belgium post to come coach this team? He's a Catalan though so he's probably a Barcelona fan. We'll see. I liked his work at the premier league especially with Birmingham Martinez is not a top coach. |

I am asking for the 135.4618th time. What happened when Man City met Lyon? What happened why Juventus met Lyon? What happened when City met Monaco? Those farmers that ensured City and Juventus were dumped out of the UCL are what you are asking for...You can look them up. |

Messi is a failure at International football but when he won the COPA we started hearing stories...
The good thing is that his haters are out with the excuses are early this time...So, if Messi wins the Ligue 1 that PSG couldn't win and even lost their version of the Super Cup to the same Lille (showing that it wasn't a fluke), he didn't do anything spectacular, he should win the UCL which if he does they'd find another excuse...

This is the first time i am hearing that Ligue 1 defenders are as good as EPL defenders. Who are the top EPL defenders? Diaz from Benfica... Varane a product of Ligue 1... Azpi signed from Marseille... Van Dijk signed from the Scottish league... Varane was signed by Madrid from Lens who had just been relegated back then... Azpi was signed by Chelsea from Marseille... I assume the Scottish and Portuguese leagues qualify as farmers league too yet the best EPL defenders were signed from there... If not for his injury Fofana was already touted as one of the best EPL defenders, guess where he was signed from? Gabriel of Arsenal nko? That defenders in the French Ligue 1 are not popular is down to the league and not because they are farmers...If Ligue 1 had the money and media packaging of the EPL, they'd be miles ahead... |

It's mostly been so for the Three Lions heading into an international competition and most times, the coach takes the fall but away from that, isn't it time we started questioning the players? Illimitable: Ligue 1 isn’t far behind from PL. The only thing PL has over Ligue 1 apart from money is hype. We should stop pretending that we haven’t seen direct transfers from Ligue 1 coming to boss the overhyped PL.
Eden Hazard, Riyadh Mahrez, Ngolo Kante, etc all came from the so called Farmer’s league to win PFA player of the year in the overhyped PL back to back without sweats.
Salah also came straight from Serie A(another so called farmer’s league) to dog-walk the overhyped PL defenders. There’s also Ruben Dias that came straight from Portuguese league and he won player of the season. Bruno Fernandes from the same farmer’s league is also bossing PL defenders - and he should have won the last PFA awards.
PL is 70% footballing ability, 30% media hype. Just try and watch the Euro final again and see how Italian players from the so called farmer’s league totally destroyed the overhyped PL players. When you read about the EPL, you'd think they're about the best in the world but all of it is down to very good marketing... I have said it here before that I watch City in the UCL and they hardly dominate European teams like they do EPL teams but people won't stop over hyping the league... |

afrodoc2: Zlatan dropped from 38 goals in Ligue 1 to 17 goals in EPL next season. Discuss
Using not more than 250 words explain how Lacazette dropped from 28 goals in Ligue 1 to 14 goals the next season in EPL.
Using diagrams and audiovisual illustration, explain how Mbappe is averaging practically a goal a game in Ligue 1 despite playing only just above half of the matches as CF?
Without asking Ifa, Orunmila, or Delphic oracle can you explain how Falcao averaged 0.6 goals per game in Ligue 1 but 0.14 goals per game in EPL?
a) With the help of google can you tell us how many Ligue 1 teams have ever won the Champions League? b) Calculate the ratio of this to the number of EPL teams that have won the Champions League. c) Finally using all mighty formula can you tell us the degree of blame to be apportioned to Ligue 1 defenders for the result of b above. Hehehe Zlatan played for PSG, the best team in the league and when he came to England, he joined the 5th best team and was older... Mbappe scored 27 goals last season, that's good but hardly jaw dropping...Salah doesn't play as a CF but he also post better numbers... The Falcao that arrived in England was already watched up... Lacazette? How many stellar seasons did he have in Ligue 1? What team did he join in England? It's like leaving Liverpool for Real Betis/Valencia and expecting to drop the same stats. Lyon was the 2nd/3rd best team in France at that time, he joined Arsenal that were on their way down... If Zlatan, Cavani, Mbappe played for the present City or Liverpool whilst at the peak of their powers, they'd have dropped top numbers... That's me trying to point out things clearly but we all know football can't be judged that way, Immobile was thrash at Dortmund but he has since been back banging goals for Lazio...Ordinarily, one would look at the Bundesliga and think it is easier to score there than in the Serie A but it didn't happen... Another instance, Ronaldo left Madrid for Juventus but was beaten to the golden boot by an old man Quagliarella in his first season and Immobile in his second season, it's only last season he was able to win the golden boot...Same Ronaldo that scored for fun in LA Liga and the UCL, are we to believe the Serie A is tougher or have better defenders? If yes, why then is Immobile doing so well there after failing in Germany? There’s more to football... I had a laugh when I read your reply...You this man, you funny sha. |

afrodoc2: Let’s list players that Brazilian league has produced and conclude that it is better than EPL then?
We don’t want you to name all the players that Ligue 1 has produced sef. That’s too difficult. Just name the 5 good international grade defenders that Messi will face there. Since 11 is too hard we have reduced it to 5. Okay, I accept they're no international grade defenders in the whole league but then, why didn't/haven't Ibra, Cavani, Benzema, Falcao, Mbappe, Neymar etc scored more than 40-50 league goals not even consistently but at least for once?. Who was stopping them, farmers? Must be farmers who can play the beautiful game then... |
