Bro..... we ain't defending Mou's stupidity in Players Management. We all agree Mou is a capital Cùnt when it comes to man-management, but that shouldn't weaken the Morale of Martial.

He's a professional, his Career is gonna be at Stake if he lets it get to him, hence he should stop acting like a Sore-dick. He should keep fighting and anytime he gets opportunity on either Wings, he should endeavor to give 100%.

The thing is if Sanchez came into the team and started doing so well, even Martial would've accepted inside him that he was being benched for a superior player but Sanchez came and wasn't playing well by any standard but Mourinho stuck with him, something he wouldn't do for a Martial or a Shaw.
It is very frustrating when your efforts are not appreciated, even in our respective place of work, we'd feel really bad if a new guy comes in and is chosen to lead the team you once led even when he is not as efficient as you.
Mourinho is far from fair in this game, his presser after the Brighton match was more of one of a coach who was hoping Martial and Rashford have bad games just so he use the 'I told you so' line, that's petty, really petty.
Finally, Martial has regressed, Shaw has regressed, Rashford has regressed, Pogba same, even Lukaku's number has dropped only Lingard, Young have improved under Mourinho and this is about 2 of the most technically limited players players in the squad, it gives credence to the school of thought that posites that "Mou is a very mechanical coach" he prefer brawn to brain...

As for Martial, he still plays. Whilst a coach does not use his substitutions on a defender (Bailly), hardly any match goes by where Martial and Rashford don't enter pitch.

Dembele is a favorite and will start regardless of how the season has panned out for him, Lemar has also been starting ahead of Martial so Mourinho has to be a little bit kind to Martial if he must make the team.

Martial has a host of talented youngsters to contend with and most recently, he has not been a starter for France thus he needs game time to convince the French national team coach.
When you have Lemar, Mbappe (he is most likely going to play on the wings to accommodate Giroud who is the coach's favorite), Dembele and Coman to contend with then you need to be playing regularly.

The point here is 'IF'... Without winning the CL, this season is just like one of those season for Liverpool, all puff puff and nothing to show for it. If Liverpool finishing third isn't failure, then why should Mou finishing second been seen as a failure. You guys are forgetting that City had an unbelievable season, they did everything right this season and are well deserved champions.

What exactly is Klopp employed to do at Liverpool, is it to come do ghen ghen every season without any end product (trophies). Another pointer to the praises Klopp and Liverpool are getting is their progress in the UCL where we were dumped out by a relatively weak Sevilla team. If they go ahead and win the UCL, then Klopp has definitely overachieved...

I think quality trumps just making up the numbers, do you see how much work those Liverpool players put into their match, do you notice how many running about they do, even Mane and Firminho helps out from the back and starts their counter, I think only Salah doesn't have much to do with tracking back, Liverpool game is based on swift counter attack and high pressing. Do you notice how lazy our players are? Let the coach try to ask the players to do this or not, we the same fans are the one that will blame the coach for trying to make the players do things they are supposed to do. We all complain of SMALLING, Jones, even Lindelof and Valencia and you expect Mou to go gung ho in every match.

Forget the IF this, if that because I could also say if Mou wins the FA cup and Liverpool do not win the UCL, then Klopp is a total failure. In the league with Klopp fantastic football, they are still behind Mou with 3 points having play 1 game more.

This season failures and success is down to both our players and Mou. Trying to pin how our season pans out on Mou alone is comical. we have some of the average and lazy players in the top 6.

The truth is even if Liverpool don't win the UCL and finish at 3rd position on the log, they'd have overachieved as no one gave them a chance at the start of the season. Talking about average players, apart from Van Dijk who I rank on the same level as Bailly, they don't have a better defence than us.
In midfield, we have the better players as well as attack where I believe Sanchez isn't inferior to Salah and Lukaku is just as good as Firmino. Elsewhere, Martial is better than Sane. On the bench, we still have Rashford, Mata and Lingard who are much better than anything Liverpool have to offer.
The difference is in the system employed both coaches. There's no way we could have attacked City like Liverpool did in the UCL, we'd have approached the game conservatively. As much as we would love the improve our squad quality, the players Klopp at the disposal of Klopp and how well they've have performed raises big question mark on this our excuse hinged on player quality...

The if is because with an inferior squad to us, Liverpool are matching us and to some extent outdoing us.
If Klopp is achieving so much with the current players at his disposal, one begins to wonder how good Liverpool will be with more investment, let's not forget that only Van Dijk has improved their overall defensive game.
On the other hand, we have a much better and larger squad but we are not showing enough as a team to justify the talents in our ranks, talking about the summer window, players might opt for our competitors because they offer a better brand of attacking football and I can guarantee that most players will opt for clubs that are more attacking in their approach.
If Liverpool wins the UCL playing the breakdown and of football they're playing, players will most likely warm up to the idea of joining them rather than us, that's why Hazard opted for Chelsea rather than us...
