Politics › Re: Asari-Dokubo Convenes A Meeting On The Next Phase Of The Niger Delta Struggle by patrickmuf(m): 6:13am On May 19, 2015
lordcabasa:
Election has come and gone, won and lost and as usual the threats of battle drums are brewing with the rights and priviledges of the people of the lower Niger aka THE NIGER DELTA PEOPLE CUM THE GOOSE THAT LAYS THE NATIONS GOLDEN EGGS occupying the front burner; In as much as am pained by the inequity being metted against the people of the Niger Delta, I still hold the opinion that at the moment I see no reason to agitate let alone fight for because doing same will term me insane in the Albert Einstein sense because it is tantamount to doing a particular thing over again and expecting a different result. Therefore;

1. It is a true fact of law that whosoever gets the benefits must also inherit the liability hence, if Jonathans presidency did not favor you or your people directly I see no reason why you wanna fight and die again for the few war reapers, if I may ask, what is the difference between a man from a far away land that reaps the delta and takes the benefit far away for himself and family and a niger delta "son" that plunders the benefits of the struggle to far away lands for the benefit of his few cronies. Note that the exit of Britain didn't make Nigeria successful how can the collapse of Nigeria make Niger delta better outside enthroning another monster.

2. If the benefits of the Niger Delta struggle under your leadership as a militant leader did not better the lives of the same people you claim to be fighting for in general during the benefits period then u lack the moral justification to call and arm those people again for your selfish gains or are you their slave/colonial master? What is the difference between you and the REAPERS you claim to be fighting anyway?

3. If you did not seek for independence of the Niger delta region, nor agitate for RESOURCE CONTROL when "our son was there" then you lack the moral justification to demand for same under a man who is not from your region because to my mind, if it's wrong for a woman to ask from her boyfriend what she can't ask from her father, I see no reason asking from a stranger what you can't ask from your brother.

4. If you did not provide succour to the families of those who lost their lives fighting the injustice you as militant leaders claim to be fighting under your watch, then you lack justice bringing same reason to make more mothers childless.

5. If you can afford to own a private jet as a militant leader or a university, tour the world, get the ears of a sitting president, own fleets of porshy cars, maintain leagues of armed security guards, sex the best actresses and control billions of naira; then you could have achieved providing enough transportation for your people at subsidised rate, if you can own a university outside the shores of the country then you could have afforded educating 20,000 of your indigenes annually and I see no better way to empower your people not even through arms,if you can afford to tour the world then you can't claim to lack ideas of the standard of life your people truly deserve to live by, if you could get the ears of a sitting president then I see no reason why half the problems were not resolved, one porshy ride equals setting up 500 entrepreneurs from your region, and if you alone use more armed guards than your entire community I wonder why you think there is high rate of crime when the bulk of the security forces are securing just few of you, if you can afford pleasures and frivolities then how can you question the moral decadence you indirectly fund in our societies today.

6. If they can deceive you to die for them in the name of Niger delta struggle when in essence it is as a result of revoking their illegal contracts and largesse cum lack of federal contracts and influence then you got what you truly deserve which is "death" for indeed the wages of sin is truly death.

7. A word is enough for the ...

Mr, pls read the Judge position/Judgement. He never said due process wasn't followed. Sanusi never even made such request. The Sanusi and Osinbajo went there to STOP investigation and probe. Which the foooolish Kangaroo Judge granted

That was what the idiotic Judge said without recourse to the original indictment.
Attacking Osinbajo is like calling out a doctor for saving the life of a thief, this guys are professionals for Heavens sake...Does it sound reasonable to you?
Calling the judge an idiot does little or nothing to drive home your points ankled on faulty submissions...

GEJ has since appointed Sanusi the pro-chancellor of uniben...Now, what more can you describe as hypocrisy?
Barcanista, this singular action of GEJ has rendered this your latest epistle insignificant...
For me, it's either GEJ is trying to curry favour from Sanusi in view of the impending probe or Sanusi is not guilty of the aforementioned suspicions...Simple logic I've applied here...
Politics › Re: Niger Delta, Biafra And The Nigeria State by patrickmuf(m): 2:58pm On May 13, 2015
Before we start the call for true federalism or 50% allocation, can we do a proper analysis of what has been achieved so far with what we have at hand?
Bet it still reads failure amidst plenty... Thus, until our leaders begin to lead us right, the story won't change not with 50% derivative nor with 100%...
Barca and co, channel you energy towards the fight for good governance and when it's a given we can start talking about true federalism... Until then, y'all dreamers...

Everybody's got hands on deck ensuring cancellations of votes in Abia, A-ibom, Rivers, Plateau... Why didn't you folks advocate cancellations in Kano, Kastina and Jigawa in the just concluded presidential election?! I still cannot believe that kano had no single cancellation/ vote error
It's left for the PDP to do the needful if they feel the elections in the states you've mentioned was marred by irregularities...
On your second concern, I too can't imagine there was no cancellation or vote error in Enugu state...
Not so long ago, the PDP were always quick to advice the opposition to seek redress in the tribunals in cases of perceived irregularities, naturally one would have thought the same PDP would acknowledge the APC for harkening to their all too familiar advice but not so as it turns out...

Forget Delta....not only does APC not stand a chance there, the gov election went relatively well and I can confirm Okowa won fair and square (was in Delta that week). APC can't challenge Okowa's election. Even Ogboru is wasting his time. Same can't be said for Rivers state where we see videos and reports of killings and other forms of extreme violence.

While I believe PDP would win gov in Rivers considering how Amaechi has been successfully demonised, I can't understand the need for the extremes Wike and PDP took the whole matter.

Why kill so many in an election you're poised to win? Why wipe out a family of a man (Chief Adube) when you know his opposition couldn't stop your victory? PDP, Wike and 'go-round' (PDP chairman) just wasted lives for nothing in Rivers state. APC would have gotten some assembly seats but PDP was sure to carry the day. Imagine almost every local and international observer confirming that NO ELECTIONS HELD IN RIVERS STATE. Then the card reader report will also make the job of the tribunal easier.

Akwa Ibom too is another state where they carried out totally unnecessary acts when they were also poised to win.
This is a fair analysis of the events that unfolded during the elections... Rivers and Akwa Ibom may likely go to APC... Well let the tribunal decide...

GEJ is as far from the heights we aspire to attain as the earth is from the sun...For those folks above saying they'll appraise GMB after placing his achievements vis-a-vis that of GEJ, I'll say that's tantamount to embracing mediocrity and lowering the standards....
We know what a progressive nation looks like and it's on this grounds we'll appraise the government as they come up with policies and programmes aimed redirecting the steps of this nation...Thus, it might take longer than 4yrs to get us to the finish line but at most, after 2yrs we should be able to smell greatness around the horizon...
