Politics › Re: Senate Presidency: Nigerians Victory, PDP And SE Gain, Loss For The APC Cabals by patrickmuf(m): 10:59am On Jun 10, 2015 |
I'd like to know why you christened the events of yesterday as Victory for Nigerians and gains for the PDP and SE? In your usual bootlicking, you're quick to hail the SE just to draw any bit of support from them when they're the region with the highest number of Senate Presidents overtime... Effective leadership should be all we crave for not partisan ish |

Nigerians are easily swayed by every little thing we come across...Have we really had it that bad? A look at the comments here will tell you all you need to know about us as a people...Yes it's a welcome development to have had a leader reject the idea of security votes but is it enough to generate this new line of thought geared towards projecting the image of Kwankwasho as a mistake we made during the last elections? If it's so, then John McCain should be the President of the USA not Obama considering his ordeal during the Vietnam war... Yes we must applaud him but saying questions like why is he not President is outrightly wrong... |

barcanista: For the first time since Feb 15, 2015 Omenka commented without abusing me. I hope we get better with time.
The truth is that nobody is securing anything. The Governors by themselves allocate such ridiculous amount. Sadly, no section of the constitution made provision for it Rephrased... For the first time since Feb 15, 2015 you're opening a nonpartisan thread devoid of hate, half truth, ethnocentrism etc |

onatisi: I have been telling ppl for so long that there is no miracle buhari or anyone can perform with the current system of politics in nigeria. The problem isn't gej, tinubu or amaechi , the problem is the system of politics and society that produces these leaders. The leaders produced are the direct expression of the system and people. They are simply products of the system . And we are the system , as long as a governor candidate keeps spending as much as 6 to 10 billion just to win an election ,this sort of looting will continue ,as long as ppl keep collecting rice ,recharge card, fufu and 5000 to vote for candidates, these sort of looting will continue. This has nothing to do with party lines, apc senator and reps do collect jumbo pay packages with their pdp counterparts and they have never said it is too much. Politics in nigeria is a big time multi billion naira industry, where the amount u invest in will 90% determine how big your profit will be. During the last apc primaries in lagos ,delegates were given 5000 dollars each and some even collected more like 8000 dollars to vote for various candidates ,where did the money come from ?definitely from sources like this, Same with pdp also. So the solution is for the educated ppl to join politics and mobilise the grassroot against such practices or to start a pressure group which will be demanding for transparency and accountability from elected leaders. This security vote issue is just a minute tip of the ice berg, what about local govt funds and derivation fund I've noticed you, you've been making intelligent submission for some time now...BRAVO! I once said that the term " Politics is a dirty game" is a ploy to dissuade sane minds from presenting themselves for leadership positions...We just have to get in and make things work... |

IsraeliAIRFORCE: There is little content in Buhari's scorecard hence no need to put him in a front burner before he is yet to settle down.
Let's give him space to compose his cabinet and chose his advisers.
All the items you listed do not affect the lives of everyday citizens on the streets hence let him be until a time he rolls out his policies and let's see how he go about implementing them. If it favours the masses, we applaud him, if not we raise our voices to correct him then if he ignores our legitimate concerns then we start the criticism.
I pray Buhari succeeds for the good of everyday citizens on the streets, helpless women and children who suffer the effects of poor governance in Nigeria.
God Bless President Mohammadu Buhari Barcanista, read and Learn from this Post... |

I hope we get Gundogan, and probably de jong is other targets are not available... Felipe Andersen from Lazio will add dribbling and creativity as well as goals from midfield Hummels and Stones should sort the defence, stones can also play rb if need be...
