Ellexy:Make una claam down, we go win... |
Jamiuokolaa:I am watching now, I was on the road. |
It's hard to follow the commentary here. Agenda everywhere... |
beardedboy:How exactly? Do you have a different video from what is shared here? What wrong did Akpabio do? |
Sen. Natasha is wrong here. |
afrodoc2:I know management are responsible for negotiations but the coach too can't be excused...Antony is a case in point where Bin Laden sat and watch the club pay over the odds. I think at that point a coach can say to the management that if you have 100m, why not we get 2-3 players of lower profile though still of quality. |
Ellexy:The management acts on the recommendation of the coach. If a coach opts for high profile players or insist on certain players with a level of certainty then, the management in order to ensure they are not accused of not backing the coach might just do his bidding. |
nitrogen:An idiot will spend 300m on 3 players, a coach who knows what he is doing can get 6 - 8 good players with the same amount... |
I am not perturbed, we won't be relegated, and we will pick up some wins along the way. Some of you need to calm down; we have assessed the players and come to the conclusion that most of them can't fit into the system Amorim plays, so it is only logical that we wait until the summer for him to get his players in before we start making demands of the coach and team. I am impressed with Dorgu thus far and if Amorim can get us good players for a relatively fair price, I am all for it... Make una calm down... |
larride:Baba, as I saw Dorgu playing as RB in our last game when we were crying all along for an actual left-footed LB only to sign one and have him deployed elsewhere, nothing fit shock me again. |
afrodoc2:It's just Amad's absence that is worrying because there's no replacement for him. Also, I hope Amorim doesn't play Dorgu out of position again, even though he might be tempted to have Dorgu play upfront to replace Amad... |
MasterJayJay:Are you for real? See deflection na... Oga direct your anger ro those accused of demanding for bribes. |
MasterJayJay:So it's the Tinubu-led administration that asked representatives of their constituencies to demand a bribe from someone under investigation? You people will never hold people accountable; all you know is the FG. That's the reason why Governors are looting so much and getting away with it... |
I think we should line up in a 3-4-1-2 formation with Hojlund and Zirkzee upfront and Bruno behind them. In midfield, Collyer and Casemiro should be flanked by Dorgu on the left and Mazraoui/Dalot on the right. I think the defence selects itself...Garnacho should come in as a sub, he does better coming from the bench. |
I don't think we can get a result today. |
MasterJayJay:I don't know about the rest but Peter Akpanke is a PDP lawmaker. You might want to do a fact check before exposing yourself to further ridicule. |
CrystalTiger:He deserves it since he doesn't want to move on. |
Jamiuokolaa:Any player that does anyhow should be shown the door... |
Nezzjnr:Sancho should worry about his career. Seeing the wicked clause we inserted into the deal, Chelsea is bleeped, but I trust Maresca to give him the Chilwell treatment after they sign him. |
Jamiuokolaa:Very frustrating player. |
It won't be long before Amorim losses the goodwill he is enjoying from the fans. Why take off Dorgu when you have Dalot stinking up the joint? |
Jamiuokolaa:It will give us more width and stretch the pitch. If you were listening to the commentator, he pointed out that our wingbacks also cut in when they receive the ball instead of running to the bye line to whip in crosses...I don't blame the WBs but rather the coach for trying to be clever... |
Amorim should keep things simple. There's no need to get a proper LWB only to play him from the right, now is not the time for experimentation. |
Yoro should have done better to stop that cross into the box. |
Wahala... |
Dorgu and Dalot should sawp. If Mainoo and Amad are inverting, the fullbacks should provide the width. |
afrodoc2:I am just concerned because you pointed out some players you rate highly who simply don't fit the current system. Seeing how bad we are when it comes to handling negotiations for outgoing players, I am concerned we might lose for very good players for the cheap. |
afrodoc2:Now this is a problem. The club is supposed to have a direction. The academy should breed players for the first team, meaning that our recruitment, even at that level, should be in sync with the style of play we have adopted as a club. It makes no sense to bring up guys who are best suited for the 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 formation at the academy level when the first team is going 3-4-2-1. There's a disconnect and this might see us lose out on some good academy players who simply don't fit the first team style/formation. |
How many countries invade others and steal their natural resources? America is angry with Russia for invading Ukraine, but America invaded Iraq for their oil under the guise of WMD, yet it was proven as a false alarm. America is stealing Syrian oil to this day...Na who no sabi America go dey clap for their every action in ignorance. |
Bruno will be doing escort services. Odegaard puts in more work, you see him creating, driving his team forward and still putting in the work in midfield. I hope those who were in charge of our recruitment can see for themselves the terrible jobs they did. Partey was there for the cheap; we didn't look his way, but a few seasons after, we paid more for a washed-up Casemiro. I just hope this Dorgu is worth it because there's a Kerkkez in Bournemouth who looks well-suited for that LWB role, but we went to Italy to sign Dorgu... Our recruitment is as much a problem as our tendency to hand these players bumper wages. |
From the way we play, none of our players should be earning more than 100k per week but it's not the case. The players are on ridiculously high wages so much so that they have lost the desire to improve. It is only human nature that when you get a role you don't deserve, you begin to believe the lie that you are good enough for the role, and then you stop trying to improve yourself; only a few people will make an attempt to improve themselves when they get unfair promotions... How much do Skelly, Nwaneri, and even established first steamers like Timber, Martinelli and Co earn? I bet Garnacho and Mainoo earn more and the likes of Dalot, Hojlund, and Yoro earn even more. It's just crazy how bad we are. No passion, no aggressiveness...People were making excuses for Garnacho for failing to stop that player from making the pass that set up Palaces's second goal, but yesterday, we saw Skelly deal with Haaland on more than one occasion, who is clearly more physical than him. It all comes down to the desire to want it...Our players simply do not care. Martinelli played out of position, Timber too, but you'd hardly notice a drop in their performances. Just look at Dalot, a fool on the left, right and everywhere... Take these clowns to Kenya and let them do mountain racing for weeks. Let's leave technique first, work rate will cover for a lot of flaws. |
I watched Espanyol vs Madrid yesterday, at 0 vs 0, Madrid had a break led by Mbappe, if you see the way the Espanyol player (he later scored the winning goal) tackled Mbappe with all intent to hurt him in a bid to stop the counter you won't come here to tell me that Palace are more physical or there was nothing Garnacho could do there to stop that player from making the pass. Hack him down and cop a yellow instead of that weak challenge... |
