larride: This is not true. In DDG last 2 seasons with us,
2021/22 season: DDG had 128 saves in the league, the 3rd highest in the league.
2022/23 season: The season he won the Golden glove, he had 101 saves in the league. The 7th highest in the league.
In contrast, Ederson and Allison shared 2021/22 Golden glove and they were not in top 10 of saves in the league.
In 2023/24, Raya won the golden glove and he wasn’t top 10 in saves in the league either.
Yet when DDG won 2022/23 Golden glove, he was 7th in the saves ranking. Exactly...DDG had to go at some point but not when he left, we had more serious issues in the team but the coach prioritised the goal keeping position just because he wanted to reunite with his former goalie...Bin Laden is a terrorist... |

eph12: Why is this looking like a dejavu. Like we've been here before recently and it's sounding very familiar DDG was not supoosed to be the first to go. We had other pressing areas of the team to fix just like now, the goal keeping position is the most pressing concern even more than that of the striker. I die every time the opponents attack. |

.......senior bruh, it’s actually a lighter reference. I didn’t share it to upset the platform or indict anyone, but rather as a reminder that we should be cautious and calm.
Personally, I wanted De Gea out, like many others, but I never supported Onana as a replacement. Most people were fooled by his performance against Manchester City in the UCL Final, which led to pressure on the Board to sign him.
The Board Members, unfortunately, didn’t do their homework. They fell for the fans’ excitement and ended up bringing us this calamity.
My concern is that if Onana is performing this poorly and Bayindir still doesn’t get the nod, it means Bayindir must be terrible!
We need to offload both Onana and Bayindir in the summer. Heaton is essentially a pensioner, like Evans, and should also be let go.
In fact, 50% of the current squad needs to be replaced! LOL! No offence but it's just that I don't want to be associated with Onana...😂 Meanwhile, I don't think Buyindir is that bad, Amorim has rather been lenient with Onana because after that game against Arsenal, Buyindir deserved to start the next couple of games. I don't like it when a coach goes hard against certain players and then takes a soft stance when others are in the picture. |

You won’t believe that some posters here actually led the campaign calling for the signing of Onana?! CapitalCee and Patrickmuf were fully in charge of the crew.
The campaign was so convincing that even Odizeey, the number one De Gea fan on this board, succumbed and joined the crew. LOL! Oasis007, I only started supporting the signing once he got here as I do with every other player. I recall I was adamant that the goalie position was not the most pressing concern in the team and I argued that signing a ball playing goal keeper will not change our ball retention rate... It's on these board I said that some of the long balls from De Gea is made worse by the lack of effort from our strikers. Baba look well o! Next time you associate me with Onana, you'll hear from my lawyers. |

I think I understand the argument of both camps. The club is in a precarious situation where we do not have the resources to spend at will so, it makes sense that any incoming should be one that will hit the ground running because we have to start putting results together not because we have anything to play for in the league but to lift the confidence in the team as we try to win the UEL and qualify for the UCL.
I also understand those who want us to be patient with some of the players, but the disagreements shouldn't always result in name-calling and all that... |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: If US charges low tariff on Chinese goods it is so those goods will be cheap and affordable for its citizens. And please don't make me laugh at you, the simple reason why American companies produce abroad is because it is cheaper! Labour cost is very low in china, India and Vietnam, that is why American companies go to China to produce and that is why america imports en masse from Vietnam. Many customer care jobs are outsourced to India because it is cheaper than giving it to US workers. I wonder what you mean by "open economy" I didn't even see this before I responded to an I'll-informed fellow here. Very well said. |

Fiscus105: And if they do that, it's for benefits of US, because America has comparative advantage over others. .....in area of advanced technology, financing and cost of production, before you know, your own production would be dying off, while USA would be growing exponentially. Companies are producing in China not because of tariffs but because of cheap labour. The cost of labor is higher in the US so, most companies would rather produce elsewhere...It's all about their profits. |
