I am happy the club stood with the manager against those entitled players. You must have read Shaw's interview the other day where he said the team was much more United with the players on the ground backing the manager and willing to implement his ideas. Sesko is our best bet at the moment. You don't expect Leipzig to go lower when Newcastle offered €90m Elsewhere, Etikite joined Liverpool for €90m, and he has similar stats to Sesko, so we can draw a line there that it's a little high. Still, it is what is obtainable at the moment.

I don't even want to get started on Osimhen, we have seen Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and even Newcastle look the other way when Osimhen was in the market, does it not tell you there's probably something off about him?

If Kone is not good enough for the first team, then Collyer or Moorhouse shouldn't be in the first team next season too. If the board fail to sign a midfielder due to limited cash, then i would rather have Kone over Collyer in midfield...

I have not watched Kone, so I can't say but I am sure his time will come. My only fear now is that our midfield is so average that if Kone comes in and struggles, it might affect his confidence going forward.

Rio that was signed from Chelsea academy and has been exposed to the limelight for sometime is who you want to compare with Kone? Abeg let us trust the coach for this one. If he is given a chance now and struggles, his confidence might be dealt a big blow.

I don't think his passing is bad. being able to bulldoze through midfield and stop opponents bulldozing through is another quality that is sorely missing in the middle for United.
I think he will add something to this team and fits the physical specimen bill Amorim seems to favour in recruitment.

problem is, I do t know if he'd be priced fairly by Villa. I'd take him for around £45m.

there's another black guy in that Villa's midfield that has similar qualities to Onana although not as big.

They'll ask for more. I think they spent between 45 to 50m to sign him.

Maybe you have forgotten the Europa league final, a game we controlled and still lost because we couldn't score. I am glad the club is not thinking like you. Our most urgent issue is a striker and goalgetters. Not a midfielder. Even with games we control we do not score goals. Look at the last 10 games we played last season . Specifically the games we controlled we lost including that final.

We have gone a long way towards fixing our attack with the addition of Cunha and Mbeumo...Nobody is saying the club shouldn't sign a striker but the concern here is that it shouldn't come at the expense of a midfielder (DM) which is an area we haven't strengthened at all.

The problem is that no club is willing to pay for them. Garnacho is keen on leaving but doesn't want to join a team outside the EPL, Hojlund, on the other hand, doesn't want to leave.

I want the board to give Amorim all the tools he needs so that he won't have any excuse to fall back on if he fails. I have seen Amorim complaining about our midfield, especially during this preseason. I just hope the board goes all out and gets him a midfield or two and maybe a goalie after Sesko. We can't afford another poor season.
