It is still early days but we are still struggling in all phases on the ball.

The defence struggles to bring the ball out ( apart from Heaven and Yoro). the midfield struggles to secure the ball or move it along crisply (apart from maybe Mainoo on occasion), and the attack struggles to create clear chances.

Just for fluidity sake we have to start Heaven and Yoro. Maz and Shaw are too timid on the ball.

For the same reason I would start Maguire over de Ligt for now. Defensively there is not much gap between them and on the ball Maguire is more progressive and courageous than de Ligt. All de Ligt wants to do is pass back to the keeper.

Diego Leon is still raw and needs work.

Cunha is going to be a good contributor.

Bruno is a problem in any position on the pitch in this formation.

Buy better players that actually want to be here for the club, they say no because they don't like the coach. When the coach is sacked, won't the new coach need better players or everyone must be forced to use the players that don't want to be here anymore or can't be assed to put in an extra shift unless they're playing a big team rival, or the ones that just want to be fighting gidigbo on the field and can't hold up play if his life depends on it.

You think you are making sense, right?

You sign a manager because you see him doing well at another club...He played a certain way, and that is what attracted you, but when he arrives, instead of giving him the resources he needs to deliver and begin to tell him stories...Are you not incompetent?

If the board you so love to defend are not incompetent, why did they opt for Amorim, who favours a 3-5-2 formation instead of a coach who plays 4-3-3?

If can't see that the board is to be blamed in all of these then, I can't help you nor can anyone here.

Let's assume he walks away and a new coach comes in, will he use his money to sign players? Or the new coach resigns and the cycle continues.

Nobody is saying the board should not sign players, you guys should stop repeating the false narrative. I said here days back that the board should be signing other necessary players while waiting to complete the Mbeumo deal, plus we know that clubs are trying to reap the Club by asking for crazy transfer fee (see Mbeumo situation). It is fans like Ley.qute that will still insult the board for paying crazy fee for players who end up flopping, like he did for Antony crazy fee. Amorim and the scouting team should look towards Portuguese League for very good tactical players, who are not too expensive and interested in joining without CL football.
Not qualifying for CL may affect the choice of players we get, even small Delap (some said they did want) rejected us for Chelshit because of CL. No United fan is happy with the state of transfer activity (except maybe nitrogen 😁), but until i see a sign that the Manager is also concerned, i will take it that he is happy with his squad of players..

The coach can only identify players working with the scouting term, he is not in charge of negotiations. The board are the ones failing here. We should look elsewhere, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, South America and even Africa. See PSG for example, how much did they use to assemble their super team? I bet we have spent more and that's because we keep looking at established names. Pacho was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for a modest fee, Mendes from Sporting, Ruiz from Napoli, Vitinha from Porto, Marquinhos from Roma, Barcola from Lyon and so on...We should leave England and look elsewhere.

Not qualifying for CL or Europa League next season would most likely affect our transfer targets, so the big players fans are expecting may not come (e.g Viktor Gyokeres who chose Assnal over his former Manager because of CL). The transfer window has been disappointing so far but if the Manager is not worried ( at least he hasn't shown any sign), why should fans be worried?

We are up against very tough competition. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Newcastle are strengthening their team not with squad players but top first-choice players.

We all know we don't have UCL football to offer, but they are cheap alternatives elsewhere, outstanding players looking for opportunities to show their talents in a club like ours, and they don't cost much. One would expect a club like Manchester United to have a vast scouting network, which should come in handy now, but it's not the case. Must we sign players from the top leagues? We should be closing bargain deals like we did with Evra and Vidic.

The manager coming out to protest will most likely see him lose his job, so I think it is left for the fans to register their displeasure with the lack of activity during the window. I expect that fans should not buy season tickets in protest. It is only when the finances of the owners are at stake that they swing into action. Fans are the key at this point.

Look at yourself...Chelsea has signed Delap, Essugo, J. Pedro and Gittens...They have Santos coming back from a hugely successful loan.

Liverpool have signed Wirtz, Frimpong, and Kerkez, who will definitely enter the market for a Striker with the passing away of Jota.

Arsenal have signed Zubimendi, and elsewhere, they're close to agreeing a deal with Sporting for Gyokeres while talks continue with Chelsea for Noni Madueke and a CB from Valencia. Not forgetting Norgaard from Brentford.

Spurs are actively working on the deal to sign Kudus.
