OkpaNsukkaisBae: Funny thing is that if you follow these guys on YouTube, Instagram, etc. You see them vibing to African music, their mum cooking African food for them etc. Accept African cultures yet choose to represent European countries in international football.... E dey confuse me. Ex Spanish coach Del Bosque approached Messi to convince him to represent Spain. But Messi refused. You begin to wonder. He grew up in Spain from a very early age, got everything going for him but choose to represent his country of birth but not players of African origin worst of those who were born in Africa but moved to Europe at a young age. |

Ballzproblem2: I pray United win race for yoro, Madrid is one hell of a shady club , they want all players to run down their contract so they can snap them up for free ,that is wickedness.
Alphonso Davies should better stay at Bayern Munich. Madrid should not be given a free run at Alphonso Davies. I don't know why Utd are not looking towards his side because we definitely need a LB... God knows I don't trust Afrodoc's colleagues @Shaw and Malacia. |

Jodera: Personally, I think you're wrong here. You're mixing national politics with sports(and subsequent someone's potential Job) and deviating from the main discourse
Nobody tells our wicked leaders to continue being corrupt and impoverish its citizens. We tend to make our environment not conducive for growth due to corruption and wickedness yet wants the best brains to come work in such conditions. Not as if these people grew up in these conditions sef.
Most of these players grew up in their adopted countries, they're familiar with their adopted countries and all, connected to their adopted countries. Lastly, their adopted countries mostly "made" them. How then do you want them to abandon all those things and jump to a country they're not connected or familiar to because "it's their fatherland"?
Let our leaders fix our country and stop their corruption and everything we'll see the Messis and Ronaldos. Or do you think Nigeria presently is lacking in people who are better than Messi and Ronaldo on the streets but just because of lack of sorting and connection can't get the due attention? Will you blame your colonizers for it too? The west influence our elections, sponsor regime change and all that. It is very difficult for 3rd world countries to develop further because their development is a threat to Western Superpowers. |

immortalcrown: Nigeria is a joke. You don't want to give the governors the allocations but the same governors are the ones to choose who will get the allocations from you. Are you not funny?
Na still the governors go put their puppets in the positions. No be the rulling party in each state go win most of the seats?
The autonomy is just for the collection of the allocations, not for the spending of the allocations. Each parish will still pay tithes to the headquarter.
I support local government autonomy. But the new policy will not achieve the autonomy. Remember that the elections will be conducted by state INEC, not the main INEC. With this, governors will make their puppets LGA chairmen and decide how those chairmen spend the federal allocations.
If you think the chairmen can decide to disobey the governors, think of how many LGA chairmen that are clean enough to boldly and successfully disobey their political godfathers. Remember that the puppets selected as LGA chairmen are the ones with rotten profiles that can be used to blackmail and silence those chairmen when those chairmen prove stubborn. As long the Governors do not have the power to remove them once sworn in and the fact that they will get funds to run the LG direct from the FG, they'll be a lot of betrayals. You think the Chairmen don't have wives, friends, close associates, followers and all that? They'll be in their ears pushing them to ignore the Governor knowing that the Governor does not have the power to remove them. You will see LG chairmen teaming up to tackle Governors just the same the Governors do the President...Wait for it. |

Pegasus01: It should be a Win Win at that point, for him to still be on Madrids radar by then it means his quality earns it. If the time comes and he still has his mind on them, he should be sold no question. Hopefully United would not be so stagnant or unattractive for replacements for it to impact us too much. Well, your argument is sound but it is very difficult replacing top performers. Let's just hope for the best which for me is him doing well here and having a long career here. Cc: Afrodoc. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: The French players should stop crying and go release their own song. Left for me, they should play that song until it dawns on those guys to represent their father land rather than opt to represent those colonizers that keep colonising. They help corrupt politicians loot 3rd world countries and take these lots to their countries which they use to develop their countries leaving 3rd world inhabitants impoverished so they easily come in and handpick the best brains across all fields of endeavours. Wait for the day a Messi or Ronaldo choose to play for Nigeria or Ghana and see how the hypocritical lots will react. |

On this race matter, I am not happy that France and the West continue to rid 3rd world countries of their brightest talents across every field of endeavor.
They aid corrupt politicians launder money which they use to grow their economies thereby making it tough for talents in these 3rd world countries so that they can easily come in and pick the very best offering them opportunities they should originally have in their countries were it not for the actions of the western leaders.
To mask their ploy, they give out crumbs for aid much to the joy of unsuspecting 3rd world countries...
I reckon the day a talented Englishman choose to represent a 3rd world country and goes ahead to dominate any endeavor is the day they'll start the clamour to block players from representing their adopted countries. Hypocritical lot. |

MRTA7: Isnt it way too early to have a take on the current structure? But they're the same names that folks here dropped. Berrada, Ashworth, Jason Wilcox, Vivell are all top guys so, if they somehow fail here which I don't think will happen, then we need to accept that we are cursed as De Gea assumed sometime back. The decision that the coach will only identify the position in the team he intends to strengthen and the technical director of football will draw of a list of 3 players for him to choose one just tells you we have the right people on board. Another very good move is the decision to only go after olayers below 25 years and not pay over the odds. At the end of the window, if we manage to strengthen the team across board then the manager will have no excuse going forward. INEOS are doing all within their means to ensure they provide a the manager with the right playing personnel and ensure a stable environment so that there's no excuse for failure. I am with INEOS for now. |
