The economy was handed to Tinubu someone who knows nothing but has the arrogance of a prof

Float naira yet spend money defending it

Delta State and Bayelsa State remain a disgrace. If the PDP want to be taken seriously, they should task those governors to up their game...
You are blaming the FG but in your midst, you have the Governor of Delta and Bayelsa State.
If you want to get back to power, start by showing Nigerians what they stand to get if your party is given a chance at the presidency. The way to go is for PDP governors to beat the expectations of the masses something like what Alex Otti is doing (he still has a lot of room to improve but he is on the right track) but they are not doing so because they're also fantastically corrupt. |

Ellexy: Names of possible replacement? Dani Olmo, Tijani Reijnders, Wirtz etc. The replacement must not be exactly like-for-like. With Olmo/Reijnders, we will keep the ball better. Witz is slightly similar to Bruno but he doesn't give away possession like Bruno. |

TrebleChamp: We should move Bruno on too imo, i don't see him fitting into whatever style of play bald fraud would introduce. We need a creative midfielder who can keep the ball well and make those defence splitting passes, Bruno has served well but United should cash in if an offer comes. Your opinion might be unpopular but not with me. If an outrageous offer comes in, we should cash in on him and get a younger AMF who is cheaper and also get a CB. |

Ellexy: I know we won't sign him but saying he was bad at the Euros is stretching it don't you think? The whole team was just somehow. I am particular about Rabiot because I watched all of France's games and was keen to see why Deschamps preferred him to Camavinga but just couldn't see any reason. Rabiot is not the player he once was, I was a big fan when he was at PSG and dropped his name here a couple of times but Afrodoc drew my attention to his mum and her influence which is trouble. He is now 29 years old and even though he has never been the quickest, he has lost a yard of whatever he had for pace. |

afrodoc2: I have not really watched him but depending on clips is usually dangerous. I was particular about how he receives the ball from the CBs and goalie, his passing and positioning. His positioning helps him intercept a lot of balls, I feel that is one of his strongest points. Then, his tackling is also very good. His passing and turn on the ball is good but can be improved on which is very possible as he is still very young. |

We need some measure of control in the midfield and he's not the one to do that. He doesn't have that quality. It his not his strong point doesn't mean he can't do a job. Mainoo will be beside him so I don't have any qualms with his signing. I'd prefer Zubimendi though. |

I have taken time to watch clips of Ugarte. One thing I noticed which is at odds with what has been said about him is that his passing is underrated with his tackling catching the eye first. Ugarte is very much in the mould of an old-school but in a team that keeps the ball, he can very much hold his own...
He will be a very fantastic signing... |

I really hope he fulfils his potential here. We battled Madrid for Varane when he was in France. I wish we had gotten him then. I hope Yoro is some sort of recompensation for us from the gods of football for losing out on Varane in the time past. De Ligt, a LB and a technical DM. Jodera: Personally, I think you're wrong here. You're mixing national politics with sports(and subsequent someone's potential Job) and deviating from the main discourse
Nobody tells our wicked leaders to continue being corrupt and impoverish its citizens. We tend to make our environment not conducive for growth due to corruption and wickedness yet wants the best brains to come work in such conditions. Not as if these people grew up in these conditions sef.
Most of these players grew up in their adopted countries, they're familiar with their adopted countries and all, connected to their adopted countries. Lastly, their adopted countries mostly "made" them. How then do you want them to abandon all those things and jump to a country they're not connected or familiar to because "it's their fatherland"?
Let our leaders fix our country and stop their corruption and everything we'll see the Messis and Ronaldos. Or do you think Nigeria presently is lacking in people who are better than Messi and Ronaldo on the streets but just because of lack of sorting and connection can't get the due attention? Will you blame your colonizers for it too? The west influence our elections, sponsor regime change and all that. It is very difficult for 3rd world countries to develop further because their development is a threat to Western Superpowers. |

immortalcrown: Nigeria is a joke. You don't want to give the governors the allocations but the same governors are the ones to choose who will get the allocations from you. Are you not funny?
Na still the governors go put their puppets in the positions. No be the rulling party in each state go win most of the seats?
The autonomy is just for the collection of the allocations, not for the spending of the allocations. Each parish will still pay tithes to the headquarter.
I support local government autonomy. But the new policy will not achieve the autonomy. Remember that the elections will be conducted by state INEC, not the main INEC. With this, governors will make their puppets LGA chairmen and decide how those chairmen spend the federal allocations.
If you think the chairmen can decide to disobey the governors, think of how many LGA chairmen that are clean enough to boldly and successfully disobey their political godfathers. Remember that the puppets selected as LGA chairmen are the ones with rotten profiles that can be used to blackmail and silence those chairmen when those chairmen prove stubborn. As long the Governors do not have the power to remove them once sworn in and the fact that they will get funds to run the LG direct from the FG, they'll be a lot of betrayals. You think the Chairmen don't have wives, friends, close associates, followers and all that? They'll be in their ears pushing them to ignore the Governor knowing that the Governor does not have the power to remove them. You will see LG chairmen teaming up to tackle Governors just the same the Governors do the President...Wait for it. |

Left for me, they should play that song until it dawns on those guys to represent their father land rather than opt to represent those colonizers that keep colonising. They help corrupt politicians loot 3rd world countries and take these lots to their countries which they use to develop their countries leaving 3rd world inhabitants impoverished so they easily come in and handpick the best brains across all fields of endeavours.
