Badashille? I am convinced lindelof is better than that guy. Fofana is injury prone and colwill is not better than Maguire or De ligt. We have better center back options than Chelsea.

They have better fullbacks and that's only because of Amad injury.

Lavia is injury prone so we can't judge his level. Caicedo is definitely better than all our midfield options.

Bruno is better than Palmer or at least on the same level. Garnacho is definitely better than Neto.

Jackson is definitely better than Holjund.

Back to Spurs, did Conte not leave because of a lack of investment? The players in that screenshot, where are they today? It's clear that the players either punched above their weight, or the opposition wasn't on top of their game, or the coaching was just that good (as you want us to believe, even though the same coach was all over the media calling for more investment in the squad).

Historically, we have seen a squad of average to good players punch above their weight but it is never sustainable. Whilst you might want better there's nothing to show that this crop of players can do any better.

This is not true. In DDG last 2 seasons with us,

2021/22 season: DDG had 128 saves in the league, the 3rd highest in the league.

2022/23 season: The season he won the Golden glove, he had 101 saves in the league. The 7th highest in the league.

In contrast, Ederson and Allison shared 2021/22 Golden glove and they were not in top 10 of saves in the league.

In 2023/24, Raya won the golden glove and he wasn’t top 10 in saves in the league either.

Yet when DDG won 2022/23 Golden glove, he was 7th in the saves ranking.

DDG was not supoosed to be the first to go. We had other pressing areas of the team to fix just like now, the goal keeping position is the most pressing concern even more than that of the striker.

I think I understand the argument of both camps. The club is in a precarious situation where we do not have the resources to spend at will so, it makes sense that any incoming should be one that will hit the ground running because we have to start putting results together not because we have anything to play for in the league but to lift the confidence in the team as we try to win the UEL and qualify for the UCL.

I also understand those who want us to be patient with some of the players, but the disagreements shouldn't always result in name-calling and all that...

Companies are producing in China not because of tariffs but because of cheap labour. The cost of labor is higher in the US so, most companies would rather produce elsewhere...It's all about their profits.
