Why can't you just do your own and mind your business instead of giving yourself headaches to another man palava. You can't compete with the less I guess. |
So happy I join this tread. I will be sharing my little experience of running my passport, the challenges, discomfort, exorts, good and bad part of the view before I finally did my capturing. It was the first day of September when my dad came back from work and decided to help me get a passport for a future trip. He later told me a friend of his has an experience of it that we should do it online and it will be very easy and fast. Me being a novice I don't know anything about it but before that time my dad told me to go and make some findings inwhich I did at the immigration office at Akure in Ondo and that of Ado. From the little findings I did in akure I was told to pay 75k for 64 pages booklet plus fast tracking meanwhile 32pages booklets is not available as at that moment. I later saw a man from a group working at ekiti NIS, he promised to get me the passport plus fast tracking at 65k for 32pages booklet. My dad friend later discuraged both offers i searched myself. His advice was for me to do it online at the rate of 25k plus 1k unknown for making 26k which I payed for online. He suggested that I chose NIS KWARA ILORIN which i did. The first challenge was at the nis kwara getting there at 5am and picking a no of 162 on line. The date of capturing was on that same day which I went there but favour didn't smile on me that day. I was told by a good Samaritan officer that I haven't even processed my documents at all. I have to print, sign, take some to court and also a guarantor is needed. By that time I was totally disappointed after wasting so many hours. I later told that I shouldn't have done it that way that its so stressful. I shld have payed them in the office straight 45k at Ilorin. To cut the long story short I was told to go and get all those documents and come back the second day. On the second day after submittion of the documents I was now giving another day for capturing the following Thursday. On the d-day i woke up 4:30am got to nis kwara at 5:45 to my surprise I meet 177 people on que. A man i meet there said he has been there since 1am midnight. Finally after waiting for hours from 5:45am I was able to do my capturing exactly 9:15pm all glory to God Almighty. |
