decatalyst:My brother, am Humbled. I think being real and frank with our peers and buddies is appreciation enough. We sometimes create problems where there's none, making enemies where we should make friends. One Love brother. |
Unfortunate. A cheat is never worth your life, no matter how much you've invested. |
otobomax:I think she's innocent, she really wanna be with the guy but her parents are playing a smart and subtle rejection intrigue with her mind. |
slurryeye2:There's something about Rich and highly educated folks, they want to spread their superiority complex like carpet. |
daclint:By blood, I am not, but by philosophy and spirit, I am to the core. One love brotherly. |
Ighoga898:No. I only remember you said "you will". |
Lionessza:Oya Kpele. ![]() |
Lionessza:Weiiiidonma! In Falz the badh guyh's voice ![]() |
noah24:You wan kee Pesin pikin abi? |
Ighoga898:I sense she hurt you. If I were you, I'll chose not to date such girl in my new reality. |
Lionessza:Lionessz, don't fall my hand o. Which kinda question is this? |
AceRoyal:God Bless my brother. This was a very tricky way of boxing the VIP to a figurehead corner. The entire machinery of cabal have been allowed to hold unto their manipulative powers, even in the absence of the president. This goes a long way to show that the president is sympathetic to the CABAL and they might not be a secret political jobbers aft all. It seems the president empowered them to do his biddings and yet didn't wanna take credit for their evils in the open. Or else who holds the rein pf power if the VP was not given the mandate to?; the cabals I guess. That's what many people don't understand. |
Lionessza:Weiiiidonma! ![]() So much fun ahead I guess? ![]() |
donmalcolm21:What if you don't have to date your ex in your new reality? |
As hard as this is for me to say, honestly NIGERIA IS A MESSED UP COUNTRY. The entire premise of a law is predicated on its content, which by extension means its letters or words. "Coordinator" is never a transfer of mandate and its inherent powers, which was exactly the intent of the law that asked the president to send a letter to the National Assembly. If such was done in developed and serious nations, that letter would have been shredded until the right designation is made. Coordinating is comparable to times when the president attend official duties outside of the Villa, Ofcourse, someone is always overseeing activates before he comes back. That is never the same as when a president is going for medical follow-up in incapacitated situation. And especially when he doesn't know the duration of his medical tour. This is an insult to the constitution of Nigeria and its beautiful people. |
Assuming you can start all over again from your first relationship, what would you do differently from the lessons and hurts you've garnered, what choices would you make differently. Someone younger than you might have a lesson or two to learn from your submission.
|
Urukpe:Exactly my thought too. And the lady in question doesn't understand the game plan by the parents. They cant tell her directly to leave the guy cuz they fear she'll retort cuz she's highly educated and a bit liberal since she lives in the US, so they instead wanna plant contempt and bitterness in her mind for the guy. Its a trick. And she doesn't know it. |
Xmen149:Word! Correct! |
Every piece of advice am about to give is curled out of your write-up. First, I think you think too highly of yourself and less about him. Secondly, picking a fight over him watching porn describe you as Naive and close-minded cus like you've said, you're in the US and he's in Nigeria, how else did you think he survived? Thirdly, you do not appreciate the fact that while you're busy pursuing you personal educational agendas, he was very understanding for waiting for you, that was a big sacrifice. Lastly, you live in the US and called Nigeria's Item inferior? That's absolute ignorance. I think your parents and family are top used to very expensive and imported items that they forgot that stuffs in Nigeria ain't exactly the same quality as that of the US, and I am sure your people just wanna make an issue for this. I think they got another hidden suitor someone and I think they suddenly think your man of 7 years is not worthy of their heavy investment who is now a PhD in-making. Think. You said they dont wanna sell you so why should box of gold matter? If they don't wanna collect so much money from his family, so how much does a box of gold cost? As far as am concerned, he has the right to break up with your ass cuz you've been so carried away with the word "YOU" that you forget you're trying to build a relationship, and not a factory. Don't blame him, but make amend. And make it humbly. Your doctorate degree, your Green card and your family and stuffs wouldn't help you get a man. He was your man b4 you got to this level, be wise. |
One of the worst thing to do in life is to say yes, when you really wanted to or should say No. Some people define it as INTEGRITY, some say its CHARACTER,however anyone defines it, one thing is certain, HEAVEN WOULDN'T FALL IF YOU REMAIN CONTRITE AND BOLD, as a matter fact, people tend to love you if you are your words, no matter how hard it comes to them. Below are six very simple but extremely important communication hack for life; 1. When you don’t understand something, say: “I don’t understand.” People will explain again. 2. When you don’t agree with something, say: “I don’t agree.” People will respect your opinion. 3. When you don’t want to do something, say: “No, thank you, I don’t want to do this.” People will find a way without you. 4. When you want something, say: “Excuse me, can you help me with this?” People will be happy to give you a hand. 5. When you like someone, say: “I like you.” People will like you too. 6. When you know you did something wrong, say: “I’m sorry. That was my fault.” People will forgive you. #changetheworld |
Security Gini Kwa? ![]() Cuz you dont want Boko to com and pick them up again or what? Hmmmn. This is serious. You release their names, yet the chibok parents said they are not sure if their children are among, how come o? Where did you manufacture these set of girls from? There's a secret somewhere in this new release. ![]() |
Oluwasaeon:Wisdom surpasses age. Lets hear your opinion. |
"The beauty of a refined mind is that it can believe in something and still question it" . -Anonymous There are four questions on my mind; First: Which word is perfect for the Chibok Saga, "kidnap" "arranged kidnap", "moved", "hidden" or "bought"? Second: How come releases of chibok girls are well timed to a season of chaos, when the govt of the day is less popular with the citizen? Third: How do we explain the fact that major players(BBOG, Army, even locals of Chibok and Maiduguri) in this whole unfortunate situation always get the news of new release as surprises? Fourth & the last: At where or From where exactly are the exchanges done and by whom? These questions need sincere answers, so its open to your opinions. Note: One of the reasons African Histories are so distorted is because lies take preeminence, and the truth is always buried because we dont dare to ask for it. Over to you. |

When I was much younger and innocent, I could clearly remember occasions where elderly ones would chase the kidos outa the room in order to stop us from watching something rather inappropriate in simple soap operas. Something as simple as kissing in movies was a no-show-no-see for youngsters below the age of 10. These were beautiful days, when the society's moral alarm was yet unbroken, right now, and in this present age, the gadget for moral standards is totally out of order. In my Undergraduate days, I remember an occasion of a Riot and bloody fight between two tribes that lead to the death of several people on both sides, if memory serves me right, I clearly remember that I was unable to eat for almost three days straight because I saw a burnt victim of the riot. Whenever I tried to eat, all I remember is the smothering flesh of man set ablaze on top of his own vehicle, and I would throw up. The sensation of horror lasted more than two weeks before I shook it off my mind. Now, and most especially here on Nairaland, the innocent warning of GRAPHIC PHOTOS, which is supposed to warn would-be readers has become a sort of PREFERRED INVITATION to such thread. As a matter of fact, decapitated bodies and blood-hoosing fresh wounds has become a form of amusement. Sometimes I wonder how I got to this level, to be more specific, and less mild, I think its the same for a lot of people. Something has happened to our brains. This is not an accident, as a matter of fact, it is the cumulative effect of obscene scenes, and deliberate simplification of tragedy. Over time, we have been bombarded with too much bad news, and massacre that we no longer feel different, with new unfortunate incidences looking normal to us. Its a subliminal mind alteration, whether deliberate, or accidental. Children of 6 years can tell you almost everything about sex now (If you stumble on them in their secret corners where they discuss it), to speak more frankly, some of them indulge in sexual activities already. Dont blame it on their parents, the society has no respect for boundaries any more. Seeing dead bodies and formerly horrifying sight no longer pinch our mood. Our conscience and empathy are dying slowly, and the Guilt of wrongdoing is at low helm. "They say if you wanna mess with their lives, mess with their minds" To think we can reverse these trends is the height unrealism. The world is moving fast and ahead, whether positive or negative but what I had promise myself is to constantly turn my empathy and sympathy button on whenever I come across anything tragic, and to activate principle mode at the sight of anything inordinate. it might not do much in changing my mindset at once, but it will remind me that I still have a heart and it is my choice to use it or live like a machine. You dont have to read this, but you did anyways. Thank you. lets change the world one person at a time, it doesn't have to be earth-shattering, little is good enough. Yours Truly, Patriot Temidayo. |
If the foundations is built on lies, it'll never stand. |
GenBuhari:How convenient it is for you to say that Osinbanjo was installed by imperialist, but not his principal, Buhari. What a deliberate convenience. Obviously you seek relevance where none can be given, and your style is mischief. Bad news, you can't get everybody to think with their foot, like you do. It is no doubt that you represent your Oga, a man who cannot take responsibility for all the damages he has brought to our economy and nation. You've learnt well. Well enough to always wanna hide behind a finger. Good for you. KWANTINUE. |
Does anyone still take anything that had the name AMAECHI seriously? ![]() |
