I didn't mean u will be driving wt police report n affidavit in place of d aforementioned docs, u will need them to tender n get another docs for d vehicle.

this will be difficult, except u ve a copy of dat, even at dat u will need an insider to help sort it out. try wt d form if u ve it or apply for a reissue but u ve to pay again.

It is the latest rule on drivers licence. Whether fresh or renewal, you must go through a registered driving school, where you will attend 'class' for 26days and MUST be marked present for each day online...

pls stop giving wrong info here. renewal r not affected, u can still get ur renewal wt ease as it does not require any certificate

This system cannot work in Nigeria.

What would have been more sensible is mandatory one or two day driver education course at privately run by government certified centres throughout the country.

This would in turn create employment throughout the country, both for the entrepreneurs and the course instructors.

Do you work for the state government or do you have your personal business? I ask this because, if you are into your personal business, why not consider relocating to where your husband is currently and try re-establish your business there?
I want a situation whereby your son can close early from school, get back home, do his homework and take a nap. And also for him to grow in a home where his mum and dad are present to provide care and support for him.
Please try to make your husband see reasons why he needs to be around for the sake of the children's overall development.
If this option is not feasible, do you have a younger sister or a trusted relative who can assist to pick up your son from school and take him home? I really dont like the idea of stretching a child for 12 hours daily.
Nothing is wrong with your child. He only craves for more attention and love from his mum and dad.

Tokunbos don't have all these aside the custom papers which consists of the duty et al,checking authencity of custom papers requires an expert so I advice u have an expert have a look @ D documents u were handedby the seller or ur clearing agent,sometimes they cut corners @ ur risk

A tokunboh car will be registered as new reg, therefore not requiring those documents.those docs r for a Nigerian already registered vehicles.

For a long time, it has been 2wks. don't know if there has been any change.

To d best of my knowledge, it has always been renew immediately they expire. it doesn't take a whole day to renew docs na!

if na money matter, u just pack d car or u will pay more on d road n still renew them.

3 most important documents d seller should provide u r allocation of plate reg, proof of owner ship n vehicle license. pls ensure d Vl is renewed up to date, except u won't mind paying for all yrs not renewed yourself.

with these documents, u will get change of ownership n plate replacement, having all d docs in ur own name.

Did you check the FRSC database or someone told you so?
I'm not talking about hear say, go to FRSC website, enter your license number and DoB in appropriate tabs your details should appear if the old type you have/ had is original

Old types r not considered original cos they r not on d database.

Do u know what renewal means? ur info must ve been online on d database, n d old type was not uploaded. so tell us, how can what was not uploaded can now be downloaded.

check those licenses, they must be fake!

My wife's DL is the old type which I didn't change to the new type before it expired. The officials said as long as it's the old type, she will do a fresh one because there's no record of the old type again.

i get it now, yes she has to go thru d new process of getting a fresh driver license!
