tot: For example if u want to screen for a penny stock that went up at least 5% today, On finviz dot com I would suggest u go to the screener, select "all" so u see all the criteria on the same page, for price select "below $10", for volume select "above Bleep (I would suggest 1 million units so u r sure u can enter and exit ur trade easily)", for relative volume select any number from 1.5 upwards (the higher u go, the fewer stocks u will find) and u will find a sizeble number of penny stocks that went up at least 5% today. U can then use yahoo finance or any other stock website to research each stock to see why they are going up, and to decide if it's a trend for a good reason or it's a pump and dump. You can also modify the different sections to get stocks meeting more specific criteria. Just my 2 cents 6 Likes 1 Share |

travelaunz: This is very very bad advice. I have been a (mostly) silent reader on the wealth hackers telegram group and it has helped me a lot. You don't need to barge into a group and start asking questions, and then get upset when those questions are not answered. Same way u don't barge into a final year applied mathematics class, start asking 100 level questions, and expect them to stop everything and answer you. From my experience, you learn more when u first keep quiet, listen to understand what's going on and the level of discussion, Google new words u are seeing that sound important, then u can ask "intelligent" questions. The kind of question u ask shows whether or not u have done ur own due diligence before asking. No one has the time to do for u what u should do for urself. There is a lot of wisdom in these groups. Don't be in a hurry. Learn before u earn. 24 Likes |

Hamachi: Bros I take this as an insult. Are Nigerians not the ones managing every company in the private sector in Nigeria? Do u know that it's actually a miracle that Nigerian companies can stay afloat in the ever present harsh economic setting we find ourselves in? I've worked abroad and in Nigeria, and I can tell u that many of the companies abroad will collapse totally if they had to work in the Nigerian environment that we are doing so well in. We get brain. Kennyking1234: Bros u are doing very well. them no dey check how river deep with your 2 feet. i like the fact that you have the self discipline to start small and learn the basics. Stock trading is not nairabet. and you have to be very careful about how much you place on a trade. trade with caution ALWAYS. Never allow a short term trade become a long term investment that ties down ur funds cos u cant sell at a profit. 4 Likes |

Aicebaba: Hi. I have been a silent reader but I felt I should respond to your post because that question exposes a very common way of looking at different avenues of income. There is no BEST way of making money. All that matters is how good you are at what u do, the opportunities that come up due to circumstances beyond your control, and how you make the best use of those opportunities. I have seen novice traders make over $3k in a fluke trade in less than 1 hr (Kodak) and I have seen same traders lose all that money the next week. There will be losses and gains in any business enterprise, and 5he risks are higher in stocks and foreign especially when u are managing your account yourself. Remember u are competing against professionals from all over the world that have the latest gadgets and tools and do this for a living while ubare doing it as a side gig. My advice is: don't over stretch urbself, don't be greedy, take your profits, (anything above 5% gain to me is a profit) and be patient. Also, invest in learning. And don't be disappointed if u lose money. We all will lose money sometimes. Take it as a learning process. The knowledge and eventual gains will make up for any losses incurred in the learning process. But if u can learn with a demo trade account, by ALL MEANS please do. And don't chase a stock, except u have some sure information about it. There is always a new stock thats trending everyday. The opportunities endless. Above all: watch ur bottom line always. It's easy to lose sight of what u have invested versus what u are gaining especially when u have too many stocks in your portfolio. I'm still a novice ooo... just talking from small experience 11 Likes 3 Shares |

Good evening Everyone. Eku social distancing. I have nOt been here for over a year and i can see that the ministry is growing exponentially. We thank the Lord. May we all integrate successfully into the Canadian society and draw strength from our growing numbers like the chinese, fillipinos and the indians. To my nigerian-canadian ancestors here (na play i dey ooo ) i would like to ask; Can one go back to school and still get E.I? what online programmes are recommended for someone who cant afford to work part time or school fulltime? im in Alberta right now, so will appreciate alberta specific information but all useful input is welcome. Also i've been hearing a lot about power engineering as a good career in Alberta. I would like to know if there are any credits we anigerians can claim based on our first degrees or masters degrees that will reduce the time we spend on the program in canada? Meanwhile my 2 cents on the CERB is; if you qualify, and you are currently not working (for any reason), and you are disciplined with money, apply, collect the money, and put it in your savings or high interest savings account. Na wetin i do be dat. since its interest free, i will gladly payback if asked. meanwhile money in the bank boosts a mans confidence and reduces BP. 10 Likes |

emeify: If the attic/ loft is free and has enough room for u and yours, then by all means take it. Or else my guy find proper house. Personally i would advice any new comer to live in a condo first. There are generally fewer responsibilities for a tenant living in a condo than when you live in a standalone house or a basement (no stress of snow shovelling, lawn mowing, trash disposal etc). However if your kids are FREE RANGE raised (like mine) then u will need to use a very short leash to hold them when in a condo, because u cannot use your own to disturb another mans peace (unlike in naija). It can be a rude awakening sha. Even the smell of that your pepper laden stew wafting tru the corridor can be construed as disturbing the peace in a condo. But if you are single or with a small family of HOUSE TRAINED kids then the condo is the way to go. Just my thoughts 31 Likes 8 Shares |

234ng44uk: I really have no idea. I work in the trades and successfully challenged the Red seal exam as soon as I arrived so I haven't had an urgent need to go to school here (Naija MBA don belleful me). But I suggest you can research more online. I can answer general questions regarding living on Vancouver island. P.s: new comers with oil and gas work experience should consider grande prairie in Alberta. Small town affordable living with good paying jobs and low unemployment. 15 Likes 13 Shares |

taskcompleteng: Forklift operator is a very good job with good opportunities available in all provinces. It is also a bit immune to seasonal job fluctuations that occur in the technical job sector in Canada. You can use the link posted to identify the requirements for your province of interest. Labour is expensive here. So all jobs requiring manual labour and skill pay well. I've seen unskilled labourer jobs for 28 dollars per hour. Just research well. 2 Likes 1 Share |

lightdream: welcome in advance to western canada. check the link below for an idea of of the cost of living. Please note that BC is short for Bring Cash ...lol the good thing is there are a lot of unfulfilled jobs here and if u are willing to work, you will find work to put food on the table, pay bills and still send some home to naija. It all depends on you. Wish you luck, and google is your friend. http://www.costofliving.welcomebc.ca/ 5 Likes 4 Shares |

salford1: From all indications, especially over here in BC, the liberals have really fallen out of favour. Trumpism isnt helping matters. The older immigrants (as I choose to call the early white European settlers here) are beginning to lose all reservations about showing animosity to the influx of foreigners . I advice anyone considering this express entry stuff to make hay while the sun (trudeau) still shines 14 Likes 2 Shares |

Good day folks. I can see the ministry has grown greatly while I've been away. God bless us all and prosper us in this new land we have decided to call our own. Please I would like advice on the right steps to take in applying for a visa for my mother in law to come over. I specifically need to know if I should apply for the super visa or for a regular visitors visa I.e which is faster to process. She shouldn't b staying more than 6 months for this visit. Also need to know if she needs to have purchased a ticket before applying I.e as evidence that she will b returning back to naija. I just need someone who has done it before to guide me through abeg. You guys are the best source of relevant correct info since the invention of Google. Biko help a brother out. May God bless our hustle 3 Likes |

Anytime I read though he comments hear I'm always pleasantly amazed at the depth o knowledge and insight we have access to for free here. God bless all of you who share your experience freely here. It really helps a lot of people around the world. Pls I need advice on an issue. I just got a new job offer that's in my field (technical maintenance and repairs) and I like the learning opportunity it offers and also the Canadian experience in my field. But I'm having second tots about taking it for the following reasons: 1. It's 3 hrs away from the city where I currently reside with my family so I will have to commute daily, weekly, or move there. 2. I already have a customer service job that pays like $7 less but my present job has opportunities for bonuses from sales which can be more than your salary in a good month. My wife works at same job and if we move together for d New job she will have to stop work. That means temporary loss of second income. 3. The new job is a one man business but my present job is with a national organization so the medical and other plans are better than with the new offer and I'm considering this cos I have kids. 4. If I move alone temporarily I will have to incure additional rent expenses and other costs that would've been shared if I dey with family. 5. Because the loction of the new job offer is in a bigger city, expenses there are a bit higher ( cost of renting, childcare, future house purchase etc) than where I am now. But there are also more job opportunities in a bigger city with higher salaries. The main reason I'm still considering the new offer is because it's in my field and the few days I spent trying it out showed there is a lot to learn from the job. I'm just scared of jumping from a tree I am familiar with to an unknown, smaller, but promising tree. The bills are already lined up and there is no room for error (lol) but my heart really wants the new job cos it's in my field and I will derive joy from doing it. But is joy all that matters? Please advice 7 Likes |
