Tvegas: What a poor and defeatist mindset. Why dont you fix the corruption issue? its not the mindset.. Is what am seeing.. Rice is still been imported only that to tip and get transportation has become more difficult hence the increase in price. No matter how it goes, daily hia in the north, Rice is been imported.. The closure of the border is meant for the west but not for the north. Think ahead. You guys are always on social network and listen to news and educated. Down hia they know nothing hence attention isn't on them so they can do it on a low and no one will have a clue except them. Think of words to use to satisfy yourself but hia in the north, things are happening |

Bekindtoall: NigerIa rice is now between 14-15k with superior quality than the imported rice. Please patronize your indigenous products. go to makurdi rice mill and see the magic those women are doing then you will know that local rice is even expensive for 14k to 15k. |
Politics › Re: Border Closure: Benin, Niger Economies Under Pressure by pawesome(m): 12:59pm On Sep 15, 2019 |
asuustrike1: Patronize made in Nigeria rice instead now that they have closed border, marketers will increase the price because they know that there is less option..just watch and see |
Politics › Re: Border Closure: Benin, Niger Economies Under Pressure by pawesome(m): 12:58pm On Sep 15, 2019 |
midolian: Things will only be expensive as it is now only for a short time. By the time people see the only option we have is to consume our locally produced goods, it will encourage more to go into the production. This in the end will bring competition among the producers... naturally, the prices of these items will crash.
Look beyond now, pls that's how it started that from 8k it jumped to these amount because we believe that local production will reduce price.but is clear that nothing will make the price reduce as far as we are concerned |

jibbish: When you have a corrupt mindset, this is how you think forget about corrupt mindset.. go to the north and see how they are importing rice using bikes. I went to buy rice yday and the aboki told me that it's expensive because it's a bit hard to now transport it across the border that means they have to increase d bribe they give customs officers hence making the rice expensive..all those closing of borders is meant for the westerners but not for the north |
Politics › Re: Border Closure: Benin, Niger Economies Under Pressure by pawesome(m): 10:25am On Sep 15, 2019 |
Asquare84: It a good move, this will encourage the growth of local industry and create job oga..it will make things more expensive like it is already.. Rice is almost 21k for a bag hia in the north from the supposed 16k... Noatter what they do, there will be smuggling because the system is corrupt |

greggng: I sell cars...in case you would like to buy from me. Thereafter I will educate you on the type of oil your car needs. Although is written on the engine oil cap...because some people cannot see their car exact engine oil specification and where is seen, is always expensive...so Nigerians will make due with what is available . What Gazzuz is saying in essence is that if you start with panadol, don't change later to parasitamol ...in your engine case the moment you start using syntactic oil , don't change to mineral oil....is writing boldly on the body of the oil gallon so you won't have issues seeing it. thank you for the explanation |

TGM2015: Waste of money.
They travel in an unusual way, that is, locked themselves inside a Van. If it was an open van now, there is possibility of them not being arrest by the Police. Considering the current security situation in the country, their means of transportation is highly suspicious. The Police can argue that in court and the action was carried out in good faith and in accordance with their constitutional duties. On their motorcycle and other belongings not being released by the Police, the question is, do they present satisfactory proofs of ownership and the Police still hold on unto their motorcycles/belongings?
I just pity them, they are carried away by supports from one political party and ethnic group not knowing that those people have history of giving bad lucks to person/course of action they give their support to.
Good luck to them. so there is a kind of travel that is unusual... Wonderful |
