Funny enough, if the APC defectees who lost their primaries threaten to go to court or engage in “anti-party activities”, there is always the EFCC and ICPC to gently remind them that they also embezzled monies for their constituency projects 😂

Looks like the stars are aligned for an Arsenal title win. No other words can explain how unbelievably lucky Havertz was!

Nonetheless, I think he can be retrospectively banned for 3 matches, unless the FA follows the rule that prohibits administrative intervention if an incident had already been checked by the referees.

I really don't think this has anything to do with Tinubu for most cases.

Okay, let's look at the Delta guy that was deceived with the time just to rig him out.

He won the 2023 election. Guess who he won against? Ndudi Elumelu.

This guy did not have any supporters. He just bought the LP form, and with the Top to bottom wave, he defeated an incumbent legislator.

He assumed he had political roots, which he doesn't. He then decamped to the same party with the man who you won, has been in politics for decades, and has a supporter base that has been hungry for 4 years because you edged them out.

Abeg, how on earth do you think you can win?

Many of these guys do not think. It is just common sense to either stay where you got your victory.
You’ve said it all.

The Delta case is similar to GEJ. Jonathan would be deluding himself if he thinks he has an independent political structure outside of the PDP machine that brought him to power in 2011

Airbus are reportedly in talks with Tinubu to establish an aircraft maintenance facility in Nigeria…

If it comes to fruition, it would definitely conserve scarce forex that the domestic airlines use sending their aircraft abroad for maintenance checks.

Yeah man, I get you. And these your factors was also in mind while I made that post.

Still, I find it quite hard to cost that low for a code-F compliant International airport.
The only way I see them actually working with that actual cost of $660-700mn is IF they're seriously scaling down the terminal size and passenger handling capacity to accommodate and work within that project fee.

Unless, this money of course, is for the development of the first phase of the airport.
Even with cheap labour costs and cheaper construction materials and all, I was expecting around $900mn - $1.1bn+.

I may be wrong tho. I'm just spitballing.
Correct. The $660 million is for the first phase, which will handle 5 million passengers. And I’ve heard that LASG ultimately plans for the airport to process up to 20 million passengers per year, so the final development cost would definitely run into billions of dollars.

Even those schools will not give admission to students who score below 200 for competitive courses like Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering , Law, Accountancy, etc.

Na mostly Education courses and some less competitive Art courses they may consider those who score below 200. And let's not forget that most of them will still do Post-UTME after which they will set a high cut-off mark of their own to sieve the candidates they will offer admission at the end of the day.
Yeah thank you for reminding me of the post-UTME, I totally forgot about it

$660mn for an airport compliant with an Airbus A380?? Hmmm, I dey doubt am o.
Doesn't it look, darn too cheap especially for that ambition they're nursing.
Baba, $660 million is more than enough to construct an intentional airport in Naija that can also accommodate an A380. A 4.5km runway with sufficient thickness, and appropriate jet bridges to serve an A380 won’t cost more than a combined $50 million.

Now, if we were talking about constructing the same airport in the U.S., Western Europe or Australia, then the cost will run into the billions of $$ due to the relatively high labor costs in those places, unlike in Naija and subsaharan Africa.

The way international airlines will ditch MMIA ehn

grin

Maybe na Lagos to Accra flight go dey there
Lmao 😂

But I think most, if not all international airlines would still want to fly to and from MMIA, especially when the current reconstruction of terminal 1 would be completed by December 2027.

So, at best, the Lekki airport will handle far fewer international flights, but way more local flights. I also don’t believe the Lekki airport will be handling regional flights because part of the agreement that was struck between Tinubu and Babalakin is that Bi-Courtney (at MMIA) would also handle as many regional flights as possible.
That means, for eg, that we could see Lekki - London flights, but not Lekki - Accra, or Lekki - Dakar

Most federal universities and state schools in the south west and some in the east will not give admission to candidates who score below 200.

All those 150 cut off na just on paper, in reality anybody that scores 150, 180, 195, etc will not get admission.

The competition for admission into those schools will not allow the schools to lower the bar. JAMB just dey talk their own.
💯💯

In the SW, maybe na Lautech or Ekiti State University fit admit student wey score below 200.
Then in the SE, it would schools like ESUT, IMSU, or UNIZIK that would accept a below 200 JAMB score

those who are celebrating this are short term thinkers - because the same will happen to them

how is staying in a hotel chopping money? where is he supposed to stay before?

did obi provide accommodation that was rejected?
Valid question that you asked!

For me, if Obi’s campaign had already booked a separate hotel, but Okonkwo rejected it and decided to stay in another hotel, then Obi’s campaign has no obligation to pay for that other hotel accommodation.

On the other hand, if indeed Obi’s campaign didn’t even book hotel accommodation, and Okonkwo had to go on his own to book one for himself while expecting to be reimbursed by the campaign, yet the campaign didn’t reimburse him, then that is extreme wickedness and stinginess from the campaign. No other way to put it
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by PDPGuy: 1:02am On May 12
Because Tinubu and Wale Babalakin, the owner of Bi Courtney Aviation services Limited have resolved all the contractual issues surrounding the operation of BASL’s MMIA (domestic) terminal 2, the Lekki-Epe Airport project can now proceed.

The first phase of the Lekki Airport was initially estimated to cost $450 million as of 2011. However, due to inflation, that figure will now be most likely around $660 million (N924 BILLION) if construction commences this year.
Designed to accommodate large aircraft such as the Airbus A380, the facility will be a Code F-compliant airport, covering 3,500 hectares (twice the size of LAX or Heathrow), will have a 4.5km runway, and a terminal building with an initial capacity to handle 5 million annual passengers…
