The women’s U-18 Afrobasket final between Nigeria and Mali tips off, tomorrow, at 6pm Nigerian time.

If you reside in the U.S., the first two D’Tigress group games at the upcoming World Cup will be broadcast on HBO Max, while the last group game will be simultaneously broadcast on HBO Max and Tru TV.

The Super Falcons will be away to Comoros for a 2028 Olympic qualifier on October 5; with the 2nd leg holding on October 13…

If the Super Falcons defeat Comoros, they will meet either Morocco or Congo Republic, in the 3rd round between February 23 - March 6…

Overall, there will be 5 rounds of qualification matches, in the CAF zone, which will end between November 23 - December 4, 2027. Here, TWO teams will qualify to represent Africa at the Olympics.

I’m proud of them too! The Malians would be a tough nut to crack, but if our girls can improve their 2-pt FG conversion, then Sunday’s game will be a close one.

I also trust the NBBF to scout for potential additions to the roster from Nigeria, Europe and the U.S., ahead of the World Cup.
