I don't see the relevance of section 77 and even none of the court judgment even cited it..so what's the essence

THAT why in all the court injunction cited in the FHC order you won't find section 77... Cos that provision is talking about what parties must do pre convention.

The appropriate section of the electoral act that Imale provision for timeframe before widows closes to take a party member detail is SECTION 29 (1) it's on this premises FHC set aside inec timetable that they don't have jurisdiction, even inecc can not quote section 77 in court cos it talks about party not what inec must do.. 1st if you have read the FHC judgement I don't see where section 77 (4) was cited as premises for anythint, however the act says

77. (1) A political party registered under this Act shall be a body corporate with
perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its
corporate name.
(2) A party shall maintain a digital register of its members containing the name, sex,
date of birth, address, State, Local Government, ward, polling unit, National
Identification Number and photograph in both hard and soft copies.
(3) Upon registration, a membership card shall be issued to the member.
(4) Each political party shall make such register available to the Commission not
later than 21 days before the date fixed for the party primaries, congresses or
conventions

INaaenglish dem write am new, there is no provision that say iinec can shorten the superlative 120 days before election as enacted by section 29 read the damn judgement

What sub section 4 is saying relative to section 84, political parties will pick a date for convention, Congress and must notify inec 21 days ahead... Very simple and direct. Na English naw
