Foreign Affairs / Re: Niger: Resolutions Of The Extraordinary Meeting Of ECOWAS by Peacecore: 8:58pm On Aug 10, 2023
Penguin2:
When Russia was invading Ukraine, we were here condemning Russia for invading a sovereign country.

But guess what, the mentally retarded ijiots are now championing Nigeria’s invasion of Niger Republic, were the greatest supporters of Russia.

They swore by their ancestors grave that Russia would capture Kyiv in 72 hours.

It’s more than a year now and Russia is losing grounds in Ukraine instead of gaining grounds. Kyiv is still standing and might never be captured by Russia.

Now, like deja vu, these fools are swearing that Nigeria would destroy Niger in 13 hours.

Like we warned Russia, we are now warning Nigeria against ill fated choice, but the idiotic fools who call themselves patriots are urging them on.

Fuel price is about to hit N700.

Dollar is nearing N1000.

Prices of essential commodities are beyond the reach of the average Nigerian.

These are the things that the Nigerian government should rather spend money on, but it’s rather choosing to go waste billions invading Niger.

And fools are cheering them on. Comparing Nigeria Generals with Nigerien Generals.

No wahala!

Like we are telling Russia “we warned you” now, that’s how we will be here to tell Nigeria and the war hungry urine dispenser “we warned you”.
Some of you are so foolish that you can't understand simple writeup or situation. Who told you that the war is Nigeria vs Niger?? Oponu everywhere angry angry angry

You didn't answer the questions.

1. what do you mean by "wrong hole"?

2. what will be the right hole for him?

3. how many times are ministers assigned portfolio according to the exact courses they read in the university?

4. what did Keyamo achieve for Nigeria as a deputy minister for Niger delta and for labour?
1. If he, a lawyer is assigned to handle health ministry.
2. Ministry of justice or interior
3. Malami was assigned ministry of justice under Buhari.
4. He might have done nothing but deputy in Nigeria except Atiku has never enjoyed enough power to act.

That's why Africa must sit down and sort out this corrupt farce they call democracy...

A system of government supposedly meant for the people but only benefits the few powerful, and constantly being manipulated by these same people with the help of Colonial exploiters will keep the continent heading back to the worse Dictatorship.

That is why Nigeria must get things right under this administration in every sector... This might be democracy's last chance in Nigeria if we are not careful.
I don't think that our solution will come from the military. This wickedness being exuded by our leaders is a thing of the mind. They don't have the political will to help the citizens out. And the military are parts of it. The military leaders delay the defeat of terrorism to keep collecting largesse budget from the government, they deny the junior officers their entitlements to enrich themselves. These are the people that oust civilian governments. Do you expect good from them? Africa is under big problem but I don't see the military government as the solution.

Now, you sound typically like naive parents of old lying to themselves that "with time" corruption will be under control in Nigeria as our democracy progresses, yet it has grown unimaginably worse.

Corruption of the scale in Nigeria, and Africa doesn't happen anywhere abroad... NONE!

If it were on the same unbridled level, Europe, America, and the Middle East would not be this shockingly ahead of us... Your nation and continent are not even marginally progressing, sir. This is not pessimism, not cynicism... This is a hard cold fact!

Look at our debt burden... Look at the compromised security system... See the pattern of appointments where meritocracy is shunned... Where is the transparency in revenue generation and spending??!

Let's be clear... I prefer Democracy to Military rule (Please, who wouldn't?)... But, an Anti-people and corrupt democracy will lead any nation into anarchy and dictatorship! History is quite clear on this... Good Afternoon.
They military government has never helped any nation in Africa as far as I know.

Kayemo may not be too bad as you think unless they put him in a wrong hole. He's a lawyer. All we pray is good governance anyway.

The seats of every head of state will remain at stake or at risk of forceful removal as long as they continue in unbridled and unchecked CORRUPTION!

There is no reaction without an initial action... No smoke without fire.

This is why we make such noise online... This is why we preach Anti-corruption, transparency, and development.

Democracy in most African nations is the most corrupt and backward on Earth (no jokes), especially here in West Africa... We can and should do better.

You won't need to fight to safeguard a working and corruption-free democracy that is fully transparent and people-centered... It will never be under threat.

Sometimes, I think we constantly sweep the real issues under the carpet.
Corruption happens everywhere around the world but you rarely hear about coup in Europe and America n not even Asia. Remember that most of these coup are carried out by power-hungry military officers, not for the interest of the citizens. It happened many times in Nigeria n we saw it. Let them show him the door through the ballots or use peaceful n organized protest to force him to resign if they can't wait.

You are not making sense, I'm sorry...!

I have performed my civic duty of voting, I have participated actively in programs of social good, etc... Are you saying I should simply have no opinions or refrain from criticizing what I deem poor leadership??!... Other than my strong views online and offline, how else should I push for change??!

Everything begins and ends with a 4-year election with you people. Is that the limit of your conversational engagement??! Smh!

...And what exactly has this got to do with BBNaija??! Have you ever seen me actively engaged in their threads??!
I'm not saying that you watch BBnaija. I'm just talking generally on what some of our youths do and come later to complain. Yes, there are many works that have been left undone by our political class especially but that doesn't mean that some urgent civil matters like this shouldn't be attended to because we're still not satisfied. It's true it's not happening in Nigeria but remember that an injustice to one is an injustice to all. Until everyone is free, we're all slaves. If this abnormality is left unchecked, then the seats of other heads of states are at stake. They should wait and use democratic means, that's my own stance.

Anyone who listens to you people make mouth like this will think Nigeria is quite an advanced and highly developed nation.

You guys should sort out your economy and solve this shameful decades long insecurity and terrorism within your nation before lying to the world that you are an African super power.

Bandits and terrorists are still very comfy in the North and SouthEast... Civil servants are still trekking to work and are underfed, economy is still shamefully import-based, but general priority has now become humbling another nation's military.

SMH!!!

If you're a Nigerian, it's your responsibility to help sort the aforementioned out. You have the right to vote or be voted for or go into research not to watch BBnaija and complaining.

Not necessarily, but can they inflict maximum damage? YES THEY CAN.

They can Bomb Abuja...they can Bomb Lagos.

Its takes just "believers" to become suicide bombers and start targeting National Assets.

The Northern Senators have already told you their stance. That alone should tell you that they tactically support the NIGER Coupist.

So forget Tinubus posturing....

Remember American DIDNT Defeat Vietnam cheesy

Remember how this Niger depends on Nigeria for Electricity. We'll start there. They can't bomb Abuja or Lagos with our borders manned because they can only do that sneaking in not by air-strike. Niger is not our mate. If you don't stop this, especially as Nigerian president is the ECOWAS chairman, every other nations including Nigeria are in danger.
