This is why I see some of you reason in one direction and not encompassing and truthful in your political judgement. You can blame Atiku for wanting to exercise his constitutional right as encapsulated in the constitution but shielded Tinubu for doing the same that Atiku did. Where lies the sense in it?
Atiku went into primary, the same way Tinubu went into primary and they both won. if we are to be morally right, the presidency should have gone to South east if the post should go to the southern Nigeria and if it is opened, the following regions deserve it.
1. South East
2. North Central
3. North East.
These are the region's that deservedly deserve it on moral grounds.
However, base on the constitution of the PDP. It is the turn of the north to produce president because the last occupant was from the south. Because their constitution says the post of the presidency shall rotate from the north to the south and vice versa as the case may be. While APC doesn't have it in their constitution at all. Meaning the presidency can go wherever the pendulum clicks, as the party members wishes.

The gentleman agreement has it that presidency should rotate between North and South not the 6 geopolitical zones. I'm from the SE but thr SEners have more stake in the pdp than in APC let's not lie to ourselves. As Tinubu picked APC ticket, the SE should've gotten Pdp tickets or any other person from South to go into the election with him and not another Northerner. Why fo you think that Northern APC governors rejected Lawal?

There is no case of Caretaker Committee with supreme Court. The order for LGA election was made during the declaration for LG Autonomy.
This declaration stated that all states of the federation must conduct LGA election on or before 30th October 2024.( 10 stated already Adhere to the directive ).
Fubara is in the right part, lesser court can't override supreme court.
Also note that LGA election is state election not federal and Federal High Court has no business around it.

That SC declaration is not binding on anyone. The only consequence of not conducting the LG election is not receiving the LG allocation. He bought an interim order against the 27 lawmakers and he is happy, now he's been paid on his own coin. He shouldn't cry wolf.

You can decide not to conduct the election and the law won't hold you responsible rather you won't receive the allocation meant for LG until you conduct it.
