Bro, if u really want to be on d safe side, invest d money in fixed deposit, by walking into any bank of ur choice and making inquiries. U can be raking over ₦200k, yearly on interest. Beisdes, d interest can take care of ur house rent needs yearly. My opinion tho
can it be possible to make up to N200k yearly with such amount.

From my write up above, I mentioned saving this kind of amount wasn't easy for me.
I don't know if you skipped that.

If you can invest between $300 and $500 in FX, let me know.
It's not compulsory though
Forex trading is never an option here. Last year alone I lost more than 700k to forex trading and I have already lost more than 200k this year.
I know you will say I'm not good in it, but the truth remains that nobody is a pro when it comes to forex trading.
It's very risky abeg.

Sometimes is not about having the needed funds, it is knowing what to do with it.
I have 1.5million, I have been thinking of what business to start with the amount. My major problem is am very scared of loosing this money, because saving this kind of amount wasn't easy for me.
I'm being careful not to loose it.
Please I will appreciate any viable business suggestions I can invest this money on.

I'm a salary earner, just need a business as a side hustle, maybe will permanently switch to operate the business fulltime if need be.

See let me clear you, if you avoid driving school now... for any reason, be rest assured you may find the need to go back to driving school, its not wise to cut corners....

there are driving schools that do weekends ... the cost u are trying to avoid might cost u more later... just make sure you pass through the right steps, what about driving license, you will need the driving school certificate to get one if you dont have yet...

I have 7:30 - 5:30 Mon - Sat job. They only time I will have to learn is Sunday, I want to maintain the job until I'm set to hit the road with the vehicle before I resign.
For driving license:
I can still get it without driving school certificate. I know my way around that one.
I appreciate your contribution.
Thanks

First let me commend you for this. You have made a decision that will greatly improve your finances. But on no account should you give your vehicle to a third party to drive. They will wreck it.

I would have loved to reach you to drive cos I have 10 years driving exprience and can drive almost any vehicle. But my location is Ibadan. You see it won't work.

I am a transport enthusiast too. Praying to get a Sienna by HP soon. And start long distance route. Lagos/Ibadan to Abuja.

I just want to encourage you, the money you are being paid at every month end, you will make times 10 of it in one week.

Its a good biz move. Go ahead. grin

Wish you the best.
thanks.
I'm motivated with your words. I want to drive it myself.

Ensure that you factor the motor park louts (agbero) into your plans for consultation and costs for success.

Go to a driving school man
Driving school would have been the best option, just that I only have time on Sundays, and another thing is driving school will be most costly to me.
Thanks for your input.

Good day fellow Nairalanders,
Hope You all are having great days.
I have made up my mind to resign from my job and start a transportation business.
I want to buy a sienna bus due to my little fund, 18 or 14 seaters sound bus would have been better but due to fund I'm opting for sienna bus, maybe as time goes on I will upgrade.

I want to be operating inter-state transport. I want to operate from my location (Aba, Abia State) to nearby states and location like port Harcourt, Owerri and umuahia.

My major challenge is I have not drive a car before but I have an idea of driving since what I will be using is Automatic transmission. I wish to get someone that can teach me driving every Sundays.

Please nairalander what are your views on this. I don't know if I can get someone from here that is willing to teach me driving.
Teaching will not be free, I will pay if affordable.

Good day my fellow nairalander.
Hope you all are doing good.
Please I am having a thought of escaping from this country to country like USA, CANADA or any favourable European countries. I am just a graduate hustling to meet my needs. I don't have any skills yet. Can it be possible for someone like me with no skills yet to make it out there.

I always hear people saying that it is those that have skills usually make it. I am bringing it to this platform to confirm from those that are there or has been there.

Please I will need suggestions on a better country someone can easily strive in. I will also like to know what the cost of processing everything will be like.

Please don't read and ignore, I need your suggestions please.
Thanks.

Good day my fellow nairalanders.
Hope you all are doing well.
Please pardon me for the long epistle.

I have always rely on nairaland to get viable information on some certain things I want, which is one of the major reason I always come here.

I have up to one million naira with me. Please I'm looking for a business I want to venture into myself, due to the way things are going on in my work place, I don't feel comfortable working there anymore and I want to start a business. I don't consider working for anyone again.

I'm a freelancer, and my major income comes from freelancing, please I want a business that will give me time to manage my freelancing job at same time. (In freelancing you have to be online always and be ready to reply client messages immediately due to much competition). I would have considered buying a car or Keke napep for transportation business, but it won't give me that time to manage my freelancing work.

Please any viable suggestions is well appreciated. Please don't read and ignore, your input is highly needed.
Thanks

Good evening my good nairalanders, I hope your day was great.

Please I intend getting a mini bus (korope) to give out on higher purchase.
And I would like the kind ones that are in the business line to help me with some useful information that would help me and guide me.

Please I want to know the following as regards to the business operation in Abia State, ABA to be precise:
=> How much does the driver remits on weekly basis.
=> What's the total amount the mini bus (korope) could be given out for higher purchase.
=> How long will it take the driver to complete the money.
=> How much should be deposited (i.e. security fee) before taken the vehicle for higher purchase.

I would have meet the drivers on the road, but my nature of job won't allow me.

I will gladly appreciate your inputs...

Anyone that has experience about public transportation and is willing to take the vehicle for higher purchase can still show interest by quoting me and dropping his phone number, provided that you can provide guarantor.

Location is Aba City in Abia State.

Good day my fellow nairalander.
Happy Sunday to you all. Please I want to celebrate my Christmas this year at the Motherless Baby Home. I have a budget of 40k.
My fear now is the way price of things are going high might affect my budget, I won't mind making it up to 50k.

Please I will need suggestion of the items that is mostly needed by the motherless home my budget can afford.

I don't have any motherless home I have in mind, I will appreciate if suggestions of any motherless home in ABA in Abia State I will be visiting.

Thanks in anticipation.
