My sister just be praying for his understanding and u still manage even if it's once in a month to give him. Im like u o, I'm my 3rd trimester and completely have zero libido. I don't want kiss peck or anything of that sorts. My husband is very understanding and in turn I give manage to give him like twice in 3 months. I use lubricant so it can be easy.

The problem is not the giving. The problem is the position of the placenta. It's not okay to give now.

Okay, at this stage, especially when the woman has a low-lying placenta, I usually advise the woman to come in with her husband. This is important, so we can adequately explain the risk factor to the mama and the baba baby together, especially the baba baby.

Now do this for me, show him this message with the risk factors for now, pending when your placenta seem to have " moved" from low lying.

Tell him there's a risk factor that comes with such placenta, and majorly which is bleeding, among other scary factors like " placenta abruption" and co, and co which although not applicable to you as of now, unless after your week 32/33 scan, placenta is still low lying among other things I don't want to bore you or scare you with.

Most importantly, let's avoid coitus for you for now, or anything that can make your orgasm. Just to be on the safe side until you are in the clear.

Please show your husband this response. You will be fine mama.

Hi mamas . Last night at around 11am my work Fe started complaining of pain below her tummy and couldn't sleep which lasted upto 12am. The pain later stopped and today again at noon she started feeling pain again so we had to visit the hospital then the nurses check d her and said she's 2cm . On 16th was suppose to be her due date. So the nurse said she should come to the hospital today I sleep over incase of anything but I'll wanna ask of its necceasary because she's looking sound to me . Though she was told to walk around the house.
Pls should we still go to the hospital?

Oga, you are the same person that is anxious to see baby, now you don't see any need for her to go to the hospital. Baba baby sir, please carry your wife's hospital bag, and go and prepare to meet baby.

Had to call my elder sis who spoke to him nd he's like because I av fibroid nd the baby's size is a little big. If I don't fall into labor naturally they can't induce me because of complications of the fibroid
I on d other hand I'm not feeling any contractions just the normal heaviness on d v area
When my sis spoke to him he later said ok if B4 Sunday no contractions then I'll av to come in on sunday then they'll induce me on Monday
If I'm lucky I'll pull tru if not then we still have to d C's

I pray you get your wish poster. However, if a C-section is a better alternative from your doctor, please take it. This is for 2 things, your safety, and your baby's safety.

With your prognosis, it is not safe to induce you, but wait for you to progress normally into labor, which is a safe alternative.

If you can afford a C-section, please go for it without a delay. You will still birth like a hebrew woman with that. Trust me. All the best.

That's good. Most of the time, it has nothing to do with her Progesterone being low or anything. Her presentation seem like a case of mild constipation. However she needs to be evaluated to conclude this fact.

Please see a doctor, the stomach ache may be an indication of constipation.
Kindly let the doctor evaluate and conclude.

Your complaint here isn't enough for a conclusive investigation.

Stomach aches and back aches are not exactly good but how are you sure its not normal cramps? Rest more and see if your doctor will give you progesterone shots.

Progesterone shots aren't just administered, except after her Serum Progesterone test, it is discovered that her level of Progesterone is low for her gestational age.

I haven’t been able to take prenatal vitamin since 13 weeks and I’ve been feeling very guilty about it…I’ve been taking fruits to supplement…..the guilt is weighing on my but I can’t seem to swallow the tablets without throwing up…pls advice

Don't beat yourself up.
Take your pre natal vitamins as at when your stomach is receptive of food.
Consume enough fruits and vegetables to complement.
You will be good to go.

Please I have a question. I am a first time mum, just 5 weeks along actually, and I keep having this intense stomach cramps and they are worse at night. I've noticed its because I lay down for long, cause when I sit for a while or stand the pain reduces. There's no spotting or blood whatsoever. Is this normal? And is there anything I can do to make it stop, it's affecting my sleep a lot. Another question, is it normal to get itchy thighs when treating malaria? I've been experiencing that as well. Cramps are normal in early pregnancy, especially as a result of implantation. Most FTM however, also experience intense cramping, as their Uterus prepares to incubate a new life, something their body isn't prepared for.
For a proper solution, please see a doctor, confirm that the pregnancy is intra-uterine( properly implanted in the uterus). The result will take us to the next point of treatment.

Also, your doctor should prescribe the adequate blood work, and urine analysis for you to rule out or offer a proper treatment should there be PID.

Please see a doctor ASAP.

The anatomy scan, 20-week ultrasound, or level 2 ultrasound, evaluates anatomic structures of the fetus, placenta, and maternal pelvic organs. This scan is an important component of routine prenatal care.

This gives a thorough evaluation of the fetus while in the womb.

A proper hospital must recommend this at 20 weeks.

Personally, I will see a Mom to be who is confirmed pregnant every 2 weeks in the First Trimester. The problem is, I don't get the idea of not starting ante natal until after 12 weeks.

Kindly see a practitioner to confirm the pregnancy with an ultrasound, and monitor you effectively till you come out of the queasy stage.

Especially since there is a substantial gap (although not too consequential) between the first and the next.

However, paracetamol is generally safe to use during pregnancy.

I am 5 weeks gone and I am a first-time mum.

I already made plenty mouth for hubby beforehand that I will be bouncy all through my pregnancy.

But for the last 3 days now the weakness and lack of appetite no be here.

Even though I am a stay-at-home wife, I have some daily tasks I do.

I really appreciate and commend moms-to-be that have to wake up every morning for work and preggo mums with kids to handle. You guys are super-moms, because right now I am still on my bed and I can't see what can make me stand up.

Please what are your best tips to combat this fatigue?

Nothing.
The fatigue is hormone induced.
Just wait it out.
Some days your energy will be back, and some days lethargy will take over.

Just enjoy the less cumbersome days.

Also I'm a first time mom and there's this intense sharp pain in my cervix area that comes and goes. It's so painful and I can't explain it.
What does this mean?

You may talk to your level advisor for your Master's Level. ( I have had people do this) to grant you a bit of concession with your examination, or defer the semester.

You are already on a major work Load with the pregnancy and the baby too.

Inducing has its own toll on the body, just like every form of Labor and delivery.

Talk to your practitioner to advise you further on how to go about this.

Good evening guys…so I was at the hospital today cuz I still can’t eat at 13 weeks…also to treat recurring malaria…but the eating thing is giving me concern as I’m loosing weight and I did urine test where the doctor says is showing starvation as there’s glucose in urine….he prescribed injection to help with vomiting and eating….but I still can’t eat or take prenatal without throwing up…only thing that doesn’t come out is moi moi and he said it isn’t enough…even with fruits…..please is there any other solution to this and before pregnancy and I can’t see food and blink…I can eat and eat ..so it is suprising

This is a normal occurrence actually. All you need is constant rehydration and supplementary drugs for now then. Don't over stretch your guts, even if it is moi moi, and fruit that your stomach is tolerating for now, please take it.

I don't understand when practitioners know well enough that some women go through this stage in different ways and still want to force them through it in their own way.

Yes, you may need medical intervention with the vomiting, but all you need in bits and pieces, your body will ask for it in form of your cravings and aversions.

And fruits are a beautiful option while you patiently wait for week 14 to feel a substantial level of relief.

Modification : Please check with your Dr if you may use Ondansetron Tab 4mg 2/daily or 8mg 1 daily is okay for you to use.

This helps with relief for the vomiting.

There's something called IUGR (Intra Uterine Growth Restriction). If the mom and the doc is sure of her conception date/ LMP, and the difference is obvious in the scan by a reduced fetal age, then IUGR is usually diagnosed. Most babies with such have low birth weight as they already stopped growing in the womb, hence the reduced age on the scan.

Most of the time, and emergency CS is prescribed to get the baby out safely and on time.

My ex suffered from this thing. To kiss him na real wahala. Kept it to myself and didn't tell him for so s not to demoralise him.
I remember being glad and free from his mouth odour when u met my husband.

And these are the same reasons why women should NEVER MARRY A DIVORCED MAN/ A SINGLE FATHER.
