Good evening everyone after migrating to the new site. This is how my appointment is showing no venue and no date. I have appointments for November and is not showing just showing this. Can someone please help me if you have same issue and have resolve it.

And please how can I update my DS160 form. Please a lot have changed in my life since 1 year ago now.

Unfortunately, you can no longer update the DS160 form if you applied on the old system. Take all the proof of changes with you on your interview date.
For example, they asked what do you do? You say I started working with Bleep company as Bleep officer/manager in soso month and prior to that I was xx with xx company until soso month

Had my interview in Abuja yesterday - 5th Sept.
First time applicant...

There were quite a few screening points and give me your passport please (I think 3 or 4) that I didn't even realise that the interview started. Thought she was just going to look at the passport and give me back to go to another queue.
I was already at 3rd question before I realized this is the interview.


VO: Can I have your passport please?
My Response: [/b]ofcourse, here you go.

[b]VO: Have you ever travelled out of Nigeria?
My Response: yes. I just returned from Togo last week. I have also been to Senegal, Kenya, Tanzania

VO: I see here that you studied in the UK?
My Response: Yes (I forgot to mention that one... lol! It was at this point I realized this is the interview) (the nerve kicked in)

VO: What do you do
My Response: I work with xyz company

VO: Yes, but as what?
My Response: I work as xxxx ( I thought I messed up for not answering the question asked directly)

VO: what is the purpose of your visit to the United States
My Response: I'm traveling to the US for holidays

VO: where will you be visiting in the US
My Response: I will be arriving in Los Angeles and joining my brother in Utah

VO: do you have a sibling in the US
My Response: Yes, my brother is in Utah

VO: is he a permanent residence in the US?
My Response: No, he is a student.

Typing some more.....

VO: pulls out white paper. Ok, I am approving your visa, you can pick up your passport........
My Response: thank you.

She didn't ask for any proof.

As I was stepping out all the 5 people that followed me had pink paper.

Not to mock people but to show my gratitude first to God and to all the responses and experiences shared in this group.
Less I forget, my passport has a Canada visit visa affix.

My DS 160 had arrival in Philadelphia but I couldn't update it before the website change. I took both old DS160 forms with me... old one had Pennsylvania while new one has Utah as address in the US...
No question was raised about that.

I saw mine after it expired, too, so I just clicked "Forgot password" and entered my email again, and they resent the link.

After logging in, my problem is that I cannot see my appointment date or time. It just shows one scheduled appointment.
Is anyone else having this issue? I am travelling from another town... don't want to get there, and they tell me my dates have changed.

Please someone reply 🥹 I was sent the activation Email on Friday and I saw it on my inbox on Sunday and it already expired can I get another activation email

The money agent is asking is too much. 5 million naira the work it out for me

Even travel agencies that charge to help you apply and search for date.... the max I have seen is 300k and that is inclusive of visa fees
Abeg ooo.... even that 300k, I cannot pay anybody for something I can do myself

You have to be patient, they will send you an email to access the calendar.

How long does it usually take please? Mine has been that way for over 2 weeks?? (it keeps showing your request to reschedule appointment has been received and will be reviewed)

1.)put two photocopies of your passport data page(coloured)
2.)your yellow or white biometric strip(if you have misplaced these paper go to VFS so theyll sort you out). If you dont have the slip you can still send it regardless or you can add the BVL(biometric validation letter)
3.)Passport request letter
4.)1 copy of the consent form downloaded and signed( note u are filling and signing just the second page of your consent form)
3.)the passport itself
4.)one plain sheet of paper where you can write your Name, address, Email, phone number and signature
5.)one coloured copy of the receipt of the transmission fee payment

With IELTS Reading, chances of getting a change is score is very very slim
I consider it an unnecessary waste of money
Personally, I will advise you to regroup, focus on the weak areas and retake ielts

Avoid falsifying information. I take God beg you

So I recently learnt that Ontario only nominates people within a particular CRS score and wont consider you if you have a higher score. I presently have 479 CRS but someone advised I reduce my work experience or something to fit in within their score of 450+. Is this a good move?

My advice is lots of practice... like lots!!
Actually practice the test. For speaking give someone some questions to ask and answer as detailed as possible and record yourself too

I've written before too, and my writing was 6 so I met with a tutor who evaluated my writing

My school is University of Birmingham
All you need is grant access to WES on your student portal after payment. They will see my certificate and transcript online directly

The thing hard no be small. I'm tired of writing ielts o, its frustrating. How can i have a sharp 2.1 and be battling this rubbish exam. Its demoralising, I'm fed up.
