My latest written work. An investors' handbook titled; “THE NICTIP INITIATIVE; A SUSTAINABLE TRANSFORMATIONAL AGENDA IN NIGERIA’ – ISBN: 978-978-962-068-5. The goal is to foster the establishment of a National ICT Industrial Park in Nigeria via PPP & AMP Programmes.
This initiative will provide the Nigerian youths a participatory leverage to contribute to the development of the Nation while also encouraging national unity amongst them.

The book is also supported with an online-driven forum - www.nictip.com (@nictipNG), structured to facilitate readers' interactivity (to be unveiled tomorrow - 13th August, 2017).

This investor’s handbook contains the action plans that will help facilitate the all-round transformation of Nigeria from its current state to a developed nation.

In a nutshell, this written work addresses the workable model of some tested solutions that worked for the Asian Tigers in actualizing an industrial revolution; adopting a market-led and a state-led development strategy by the means of a ‘guided capitalism’ economic system.

I am an Author, i launched my first book in October 2016.
I am preparing to launch my second book in the last quarter of the year and it is mandated for me to obtain an ISBN.
It only took me less than 2 hours to obtain an ISBN for my first book at The National Library of Nigeria, last year.
To my surprise when i got to same office this afternoon to process and acquire an ISBN for my new book, i was told that ISBN has finished this morning, and that i should come back by next week.
Please, i need learned people to enlighten me on ISBN, because i was wondering why serial numbers that are automatically generated can get exhausted...

Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen, invited Guests, Distinguished Delegates and Associates.
You are all welcome to this remarkable gathering.

To start with, permit me to start by explaining the term "foster".
To foster means to “encourage or promote the development of an entity”.
As it relates to this seminar, I will be discussing some viable ways ICT can be used to “foster” (i.e. to encourage and promote) youth development.

We all know there is an alarming rate of youths' disengagement in fully exploring their exuberant potentials due to the rising wave of economic recession being globally experienced. This limitation creates an unfavorable atmosphere for the vibrant youths to fully explore and exploit their various gifts, skills, talents, abilities and passions.

There are 3 major cadres of labour that drives a nation's economy. They are the skilled, the semi-skilled and the unskilled, and many youths belonging to any of these cadres are either faced with the problem of underemployment or unemployment.

For clarity, let me distinguish underemployment from unemployment.

Underemployment refers to the situation where an employed individual is underpaid, leading to job dissatisfaction because of inability to meet-up with desired standard of living.

While unemployment refers to a situation where a willing and capable individual who opts to work cannot secure a job because the opportunities are not available.

This is where Information and communication technology (ICT) comes to the rescue. It's unique networking ability cuts across borders, allowing an individual in one geographical location (country) to work for other individuals or corporate organizations spatially dispersed across another geo-location be it far or near makes it a perfect and viable tool to get the citizens of any country engaged.

However, the digital revolution are both independent of physical transportation despite its lucrative potentials; this is the major reason why the Nigeria Government needs to exploit its potentials for a sustainable economic while side-way undergoing a transportation revolution in preparation for Nigeria's industrial revolution.

In addition, ICT encourages self-employment through the easy creation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) because setting up most small scale ICT businesses is not capital intensive but majorly requires technical skills.

I support FG for banning the production of music videos and movies abroad for so many reasons, though Nigeria is not yet prepared and matured to take such a very huge decision right now, considering the several pros and cons of the policy.

Advantageously, the implementation of this policy will conserve the much needed foreign exchange in Nigeria in an attempt to strengthen the presently devalued Naira.

Furthermore, employment opportunities will be generated for local media producers in Nigeria, and all the cadres of labour, be it skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled will benefit.

Thirdly, promotion of Nigeria's culture, tourism and arts will be facilitated in an attempt to showcase the hidden treasure of Nigeria to the outside world.

Ultimately, the policy will advantageously pave way for upcoming artistes to secure a competitive edge in the Nigeria's entertainment industry. As it is now, I mean in Nigeria of today, it is very difficult for any upcoming artiste to "blow" without an outlandish/exotic music video. Days of MP3/Radio promo and marketing, or local music video is gone. That's the fact!

Socially, the Nigerian Government will be able to control some explicit (18+) video contents if they are produced in Nigeria. The Nigerian Kids shouldn't be exposed to certain media contents. As it is right now, the Nigerian government doesn't have the control over most of all the explicit videos since they were produced abroad and will also later be aired on the Nigerian TV. Does it make sense We all witnessed some non-Nigerian contents being produced on live TV in the just-concluded Big Brother Naija; of which those contents were later streamed for Nigerians' consumption with the FG having no power to bring them down. It was an ugly experience in Nigeria, most especially the coco factor!!! If such contents were produced in Nigeria, believe me, the FG will stop it by all means!

For fun; In my own understanding, the inception of this saga surfaced during the just-concluded Big Brother Naija TV show that took place in South Africa. In my own perspective; that show was not real, why How will Multichoice camp Nigerians for several months without power outage Abeg! "Up Nepa" is part of our logo in Naija here. Make the reality show real with naija seasonings. Lolzz. Just for fun tho!

Nevertheless, we all understand the rate at which the world is developing in terms of entertainment, people need consume quality contents these days, nothing less and nothing more. Nigerian artistes now have the competitive edge in the international market due to their outlandish exposures in media productions. Infact, some Naija artistes are now endorsed as brand ambassadors for some multinational companies, and so many other advantages being gained by Nigerian artistes due to their outlandish exposures via their classy and quality music videos being produced abroad.
All these foreign shows, and international endorsements have recently increased Nigeria's GNP - Gross National Product and have also contributed to international relation, economic and social development.

Also, most Disc Jockeys seldom play foreign musics in parties as it was in the previous decades of plantation boyz. These days, na Naija jamz 95%; this is due to the fact that Nigeria artistes have already secured the competitive edge over most of all the foreign artistes with respect to the quality and outlandish music videos and musica contents.

On the other way around, the FG should make Nigeria conducive for quality production of the various media contents. There is also an urgent need for good infrastructure and social amenities; good roads, security, modern health facilities and others should be provided in order to make the Nigerian environment conducive for such business. Let the FG put these things in place.

Most importantly; FG should lead by example by patronizing Nigeria's local content products in all facets. I might not be going into details right now. It's better to drop the pen here.

Conclusively, after considering the pros and cons of this proposed policy, its implementation is for Nigerians' advantage, the FG only needs to put certain things in place for its full-flowering.

“The e-Farmers; content culled from the Pediak Book’s Chapter 1”

Globalization of agriculture is unarguably the timely and scalable step towards the actualization of a diversified and a sustainable economic development agenda in Nigeria.
As we all know, there several social networks in existence; Facebook, Nairaland, Twitter and other prominent ones are very good examples. Furthermore, Linkedin, Fiverr and several are also professional networks. Meanwhile, we are yet to have a viable Farmers’ network - channeled towards the globalization of Agriculture in Nigeria and extensively in other neighbouring countries.

Without any iota of doubt, as noted in one of my interviews; “the future of the Nigerian economy depends on how entrepreneurial and how self-reliant the Nigerian Youths are”. However, commercial agricultural practices have been proven by experts as a viable tool to pragmatically engage the youths in a sustainable national development goal.

On the other way around, despite the lucrative potentials of agriculture, farming practices seems dirty, local, strenuous, time-wasting and unattractive to the Nigerian youths, thereby adversely affecting the diversification of the Nigerian economy. Despite all the possible attempts by the Nigerian government (both past and present) to make farming attractive to them by giving out loans, grants, aids and other timely supports, but such gestures are unappreciated. Here’s the point; “The Nigerian government cannot keep on expending energy on the same input and expect a different output”. There is an urgent need for a technical approach entirely different from the outdated strategy.

The solution to the recurring issue noted above is the globalization of Agriculture via Information and Communication Technology.

The question here is that; “how can ICT be used for the globalization of agriculture in order to make farming and its allied services attractive to the Nigerian Youths in an attempt to foster a sustainable economic development goal?”
Here’s the answer as written in my Pediak Book: “an e-sourcing platform tagged “the e-farmers web application” which is structured as the Farmers’ Network is the timely and also the scalable solution to the problem facing the full-flowering of agriculture as a viable economic development tool”.

This proposed platform can act as the meeting point for a successful agro-based business between the farmers and the various consumers irrespective of the geographical location. Practically, 3 major players can facilitate the said globalization of agriculture via the e-farming system; the Farmer, the Middleman and the Consumer. Objectively, the slogan of this prototype e-farming system says it all; “Become a middleman; earn from home, farm from home”.

1. The Farmers: these are various large scale and small scale farmers with varieties of agricultural products. They form the major role player in the system.

2. The Middleman; All the cadres of labour- the skilled, semi-skilled and the unskilled fall in this category. Furthermore, various unemployed youths can always find a space in the e-farming platform. They can act as the facilitator by sourcing for farm products from farmers and at the same time aid the distribution process of the agricultural products to various consumers. This is critical player in the e-farming process, since they supply the agricultural products being demanded on the platform by consumers. Such users will have to visit the farms in order to have a physical record or pictorial record of the agricultural products to be supplied. With respect to the required survey and inspection process being carried out by the middlemen, agricultural practices will gradually become attractive to the Nigerian youths. Most importantly, here’s how the middlemen will be generating income; the users will be entitled to certain percentage of the closed deal, take for instance - 5% of the transactional value. This will pragmatically solve the problems of unemployment in Nigeria rather than the recurring theoretical approaches. Psychologically, with respect to natural human instincts, at a particular point, such intermediaries (middlemen) will find it logical to engage in local and commercial farming activities with respect to their exposures to the lucrative potentials of agricultural products in an attempt to be entitled to 95% rather than acting as a middleman with 5% dividend. At this point, agriculture will be considered as being attractive, thereby facilitating a sustainable economic development agenda. Furthermore, as earlier noted, all the cadres of labour can have a stake in the e-farming system. The learned (but unemployed or under-employed) youths can source online for the supply task for agricultural products and also managing business contacts. On the other hand, the semi-skilled and the unskilled individuals can also relatively serve as logistics agents, drivers, off-loaders in order to facilitate the complete chain (sourcing and distribution) of the e-farming system, most especially when there is high demand for farm products in spatially dispersed locations.

3. The Consumer: these set of players also play an important role in the e-farming system. They can be classified into 2 different cadres; the domestic consumers and the industrial consumers. The domestic consumers make demand for agricultural products on the platform for personal and in-house consumption. On the other way round, the industrial consumers are various SMEs and large scale companies that rely on agricultural products as the raw materials for their various processes of productions. A good example are; firms producing processed foods, flour mills, tomato processing companies, Juice making companies, starch-making firms, canned beef companies, sugar companies, fertilizer companies using agricultural wastes as raw materials and others.

Professionally, a middleman can go to extra-mile to take pictures of the various farm products while still at the growing phase. In addition on the e-farming platform, they can create profile for each farm accompanied with pictures of their farm products at different growing phases. This unique feature will help consumers in need of the farm products monitor the farm activities until the harvest period. In addition, such an e-farming platform will allow domestic and industrial consumers of agricultural products make the best decision in terms of quality and pricing, with respect to the middleman’s active reports.

In conclusion, we already have so much social networks, let’s join hands to balance this equation, let’s revolutionalize the Nigerian farming system by creating such e-sourcing platforms in all the Nigerian states. Logically, when the demand for agricultural products is high on those e-sourcing channels, the youths will have no other option than to go farming in order to have the 95% as the farmer rather than the 5% as a middleman. I want to see a new Nigeria where the farmers’ network will be competing for audience, doing this; we are on the path to a sustainable economic development agenda.

Also, such an e-farming system will foster international business relationship between Nigeria and other countries. Consumers of agricultural products can make business transaction on the platform, thereby facilitating the export of agricultural products. However, this will conserve our much needed foreign exchange in Nigeria; the issues of unemployment, under-employment, naira devaluation will be solved. Furthermore, there will be an improved standard of living accompanied with a timely and scalable economic development agenda that can sustain Nigeria for decades. In addition, Nigeria’s GDP index will definitely increase with respect to newly acquired strength in her purchasing power parity as compared to other nations.

Globalization of agriculture is definitely the solution to Nigeria’s undiversified economy.

In the process of restructuring Nigeria, several fundamental issues should be addressed. I will briefly talk about the lopsidedness in the Nation’s nomenclature tagged as “Nigeria”. Let me start with the rhetorical questions of; Why the name “Nigeria”? When did the name “Nigeria” surface? Where did it evolve from? And how did we come about the name “Nigeria”? You think it was named after a river! That’s naively wrong; you will find the answer in one of the subsequent paragraphs.

To start with, a country’s democratic system is built on the culture and tradition of the people with respect to the country’s history and immediate or past political experience. The neglect of our cultural values and traditional institutions in the respect of a borrowed culture has over time resulted in drastic degradation of our value system in Nigeria and has affected the full-flowering of democracy as a viable tool for national integration. The British colonial masters neglected Nigeria's traditional institution and culture since 1960 after her independence. Meanwhile, England practices a Monarchical system of Democracy that recognizes the traditional institutions and culture of the British people. Disappointingly, on the other hand, the British colonial masters inhibited into Nigeria a Westminster type of Parliamentary Democracy upon her independence which led to regionalism, marginalization, hegemony and divisive politics in the nation since the first republic till this fourth republic of US presidential system of democracy. All the democratic systems were experimental and the subsequent ones were built on the immediate or past political experience.

The only time the importance of the Nigerian traditional institutions were recognized was when the Colonial masters needed to exercise indirect rule system on the Nigerian people during the colonial era. Also, all the present issues being faced in Nigeria today are all traceable to the nature of the British contacts in the Northern and Southern Nigeria before independence, and most especially amalgamating the diverse ethnic groups together for their selfish interests; administrative, economic and political interests without considering our differences, cultures, value systems, traditions, perception and unique identity.

Let’s not take it too far, even from the country’s Name “Nigeria”; history told us that Nigeria was named after a river called the River Niger! I totally disagree! My question is that; “who named the river - River Niger?” The answer is just that both the River and the present country called Nigeria were named after the British company called The Royal Niger Company (Part of the first set of the British companies that were established in Nigeria). Some of these indigenous British companies are still operating in Nigeria till today with a changed name. I am not against foreign investment in Nigeria, I am only fostering Nigeria’s restructuring by exposing her citizens to certain fundamental issues that should be tackled.
I can therefore conclude that Nigeria is a product of European Imperialism and yet to be a true nation which entails all her hundreds of ethnic groups recognizing the strength in their diversity for being the most populous black nation, synchronizing together as a beautiful rainbow nation in the pursuit of national prosperity and a sustainable national development agenda.

If Nigeria will truly be restructured, these critical fundamental issues should be addressed by correcting the foundational lopsidedness in her original structure.

The task is hanging on us like a sword of Damocles.

"Hope for the best and prepare for the worst..."

The country's economic recession coupled with the wailing financial crisis is the consequential failure of various administrations to save for the raining day. Nigeria's economy in the past few years can be compared to a gigantic building with a single-pillar support and without auxiliary supports, when storms rage, and when chips are down, i.e. when the single pillar fails due to harsh environmental influence; the entire building will catastrophically collapse.
The single pillar is the crude oil, and other supports (sectors) that were neglected are Agriculture, ICT, Mining, Education, Manufacturing and others.
Relatively, the failure to diversify the economy over the years has led to this present ugly situations in the country, such as unemployment, poverty, under-development, regionalism and most especially those scary headlines on various media platforms... We are in this ugly situation today due to failure to prepare for the worst but always hope for the best. Every sector seems to be a joke! I just hope the 6th sense will fall on Nigeria today, just for her to diversify the economy, there's still a second chance to prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.

Blazing a trail for an intellectual revolution seems to be the feasible solution to Nigeria's problems. The 6th sense teaches us how to hope for the best and how to prepare for the worst. Several visions in the past with a mission, several policies without proper planning and without effective implementation.

Personally, the way forward seems unclear right now with respect to recent uprising in the country accompanied with some dramatic saga, i'm gradually being voided of a benefit of doubt about the possibility of national restructuring any time soon.

Additionally, i think this is not just the best time for separatism or regionalism, rather, it should be a moment for Nigeria's diverse ethnic groups to synchronize together as a beautiful rainbow nation in order to pursuit a sustainable national development agenda...
I hope the secessionists and the regionalists guarding against hegemony and marginalization still remember Rwanda's experience portrayed in the epic movie; "Sometimes in April" Maybe NOA should educate THEM on some historical relevance.

They need to also remember the endless saga of South Sudan that gained independence from Sudan on 9 July 2011.

You know my fear in all, when two elephants fight, the grasses ignorantly suffer the most... Let the various social classes categorically ask themselves; who the grasses are and who the elephants are. If you fall among the social class "grass", "OYO" is your case, kindly let the 6th sense fall on you.

This is not just the best time for ethnical strife, but a time for us to recognize the strength in our diversity in a pursuit of National prosperity.

All these are innovative gestures by vibrant Nigerian youths,
whereas, some regionalists are agitating for secession in an
attempt to guard against marginalization and hegemony.

What a paradoxical situation !!!

These aforementioned cadres of researchers should be
celebrated for their intellectual abilities with respect to their
endowed national development potentials; but reverse is
the case in our society today, rather, more focus are given to the so-called entertainers mostly the half-exposed ones.

How will intellectual revolution be encouraged in Nigeria
since researchers and inventors are given less recognition Wait! I'm not against entertainment per say, infact, I'm partially an entertainer as my extra hustle, but more importance shouldn't be given to the sector. We need to get our priorities right in this country!!! Respect should be given to intellectual resources in order to encourage a scientific and technological development in Nigeria, since a country's development index is being rated by her level of science and technology!

Let's ask ourselves; In Nigeria, why do we import the products rather than importing the machines We have been importing toothpicks, why can't we import the toothpick-making machine and get the jobless youths employed, "we get bamboo for Naija now!!". And this will also conserve the much needed foreign exchange for importation of these cheap products.

Amazingly, so N-Power now has 1 million applicants within
few days, oh! Cool! Nice gesture by our FG! That's social
security and empowerment! That also shows the level of
unemployment in this country! But will this monthly stipend last for forever?? Let us call a spade a space and not a farm-tool, this will not solve this jobless situation of the country!

Don't give us fish alone, please also teach us how to catch the fish and give us what it takes to catch it. I'm not against the N-Power programme, its a nice move by the FG and also structured as a poverty alleviation scheme. But I think Its better to ignite an industrial revolution in Nigeria and let the youths be actively involved in the nation building process.That will solve our recurring problems of unemployment and wailing poverty and will also increase the standard of living of the citizenry. FG should therefore Establish manufacturing industries across the 6-geo political zones of Nigeria.

That should be the immediate solution to our problems. We should domestically and industrially consume our home-made products rather than imported ones! Some of these self-reliant countries do not possess half of Nigeria's endowed natural and mineral resources, yet, they are soaring high!

I also learnt aircrafts that operate in Nigeria perform their routine maintenance services abroad, please, what stops us
from having our own indigenous facilities being established
in Nigeria in order to maintain those aircrafts?? We have
jobless engineers in this country, how will they practise what they studied? How will they innovate and invent solutions??
These questions are left for us to answer. Also, establishing
such facilities will conserve our much needed foreign
exchange. Its like buying an American Vehicle without its
mechanic in Nigeria, such a person will spend more for
maintenance! Since we are using aircrafts in this country, let
foreign experts be invited to train local technicians on the
technical know-how.

Take for instance, Japan as a case study; few years back, before Japan experienced her industrial revolution, several of her citizens were sent all over advanced countries in order to have modern education, technical skills and also
advanced technological exposures. Those citizens got back
to their country to ignite an industrial revolution, talk of
electronic gadgets and allied products, Japan is one of the major player in the game!

The Asian Tigers are being known for their tiger economy;
i.e. the economy that skyrocketed within few years after
experiencing an industrial revolution.
So why can't Nigeria learn from the Asian Tigers
We need a replica model of the various tested solutions that
worked for the Asian Tigers in Nigeria; both theoretical and
practical approaches are needed at this point, not mere
propaganda!!!

Also this could be achieved by recognizing the strength in
our ethnical diversity in Nigeria at every moment and not ONCE in every 4 years. You know what I mean!!

We also need to recognize the fact that the first step of a
nation building process is to unite the diverse nationalities
into a beautiful rainbow nation with a unique national identity, in order to peacefully coexist for the pursuit of a sustainable national development agenda.

In my words; "build these people, and these developed
people will successfully build a nation". If there is unity, there will be peace, if there is peace, there will be progress and the aftermath is a sustainable national development goal.

The Chinese people recognized the strength in their diversity and also discovered the advantage of their large population, those citizens are being massively used as workforce in the chinese industries for cheap labour.
I wonder when Nigeria will maximize the large population in the country to blaze a trail for an industrial revolution.
People want to work! Graduates are being pushed out of tertiary institution every day! Ex-NYSC members are always going to every nooks and crannies after their POP in search of white collar job!

Meanwhile, most of all these graduates were only exposed
to theoretical approach in their higher institutions rather
than self-reliant, entrepreneurial and technical approach!
Consequentially, this resulted in Nigeria's under-industrialization.

Conclusively, if there should be anything like curriculum
reform in Nigeria's education system, it should be with
respect to the introduction of productive courses and not all
these agitating echoes.
For Nigeria to experience a paradigm shift from being a consuming nation to a producing nation, we MUST learn from the Asian Tigers by adopting their tested solutions that helped them experienced an industrial revolution!!!

Is it a good game? Of course... Is it a 10/10 rated game?
Absolutely not.
The game got an amazing graphics upgrade since Grand
Theft Auto: San Andreas, but San Andreas overcomes
Grand Theft Auto 4 in everything else.
What you got first in Grand Theft Auto 4 is a lack of
gameplay, the controls are bad and also when you drive car
you feel like driving over ice. Most of missions are fun at
first, but then they're all the same: You drive a car, get
some guns, and shoot to kill people. While Grand Theft Auto
San Andreas has a lot of dynamism in its missions eg:
Swim underwater, get a boat, hope a board a ferry, get
some guns, kill people with guns, and then run away from
heli shooting you missiles.
Also, in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas there are lot of
things you can explore, since forest to the desert now thats a good game.

Sometimes around 2008-2010, I so much loved GTA-IV, I played it for at least 4 hours daily! The best way to catch fun... This game remains the best... Most people actually don't play this game for the mission's sake, instead, they find trouble just to have a car chase... Then later cheat with #LeaveMeAlone lolzzzz...

Notepad is okay too and you can also start with dreamweaver8, the design view and the code view are simple to decode.

On the 9th of March, 2017, around 9:45am - I was marching along the street somewhere in the Northern part of Nigeria, I saw some Bike Riders commonly known as “Okada Riders” converging at a popular junction, displaying their riding skills accompanied with crazy stunts…
They were all in “Jabulani” mode, displaying several stunts with their bikes with a joyful shout of “Sai Baba! Sai Baba!!”… The scene caught my attention; being a Vlogger; I brought out my phone trying to cover the amazing jubilation. I asked a guy next to me: “Abeg wetin Happen” and the guy replied; “Na our President just come back from London oooo”…

Few seconds after that moment, I sighted an innocent guy riding bike “jejely’ on his own, one of those bike riders making a circumference stunt with his bike hit the innocent guy. (All the witnesses kept on shouting “Sai Baba! Sai Baba!!”, that was somewhat funny tho, instead of helping the affected innocent guy). The stunt guy who caused the accident took off immediately, but the innocent guy managed to control the bike and the would-be accident was averted. Thank God no passenger was at his back during the process; maybe the passenger could have hit his or her head on the ground or even fall inside the gutter.

Here is my counsel; the FRSC agents should always caution those bike riders against such acts of displaying crazy stunts most especially when celebrating success!!!

Let's jointly make Nigeria a safe haven... Thanks !
