Sir, We are learned people and i can decipher your post clearly. You were indirectly talking about some phantom agreement between Ojukwu/Awo during the civil war, which has always been the reason you call us betrayers. I have always ask for the reason why we are betrayers but no answer till today. We have no agreement with Ibos nor any tribe.

However, You are dishonest sir that Yorubas did everything to get rid of GEJ because of Ibos. We should learn to be honest and not lie just to feel good. During Obasanjo time, A yoruba man... There was Soludo, Madam Ngozi, Dora Akinyuli, Madam Obiagelli, and many Ibos in his cabinet and no one complained. GEJ was a total failure and was booted out by Nigerians, he won in EKiti and got more than 30% in all SW states yet you said they got rid of him to spite Ibos. Please, lets always set the record straight....
Now look at what someone said

disumusa:
coward ibo went to plot with gej to hand over to them in 2019 in which gej agree, that is why they are not happy with tinubu and yoruba
U may not feel that way but i tell u, most of ur political powers fell that way including majority of ur pple, take a look at their comments here in Nairaland.

These political posts do no good to us as we are yet to feel their direct impact, just enriching the occupants alone, yet some will always nose around to see who is in what position.

Sometimes words are like bullets and when fired even mistakenly, cannot be retrieved. an example could be perhaps when Buhari said "i'll stabilize oil price" or when Jonathan said "i'll create unemployment" and these were continuously used against them throughout the campaigns. I think the Oba should've been rebuked and meant to apologize because such actions stir ugly reactions from the public and they increase suspicion and never promote national unity, but remember also, that the same way you accuse someone, the person also accuses you, meaning there is possibly something he or she also feels you have done wrong. This is very evident in marriage relationships gone sour.

I think we all, all ethnic groups in Nigeria, have a part to play to foster unity and understanding in this country. It will never come without sacrifices, we must let go of some pride as a people and promote fairness, peace and respect for other people and their tribes.

I cannot guarantee unity though, if people dont want it, its only a personal wish which i try to promote as much as i can.
U argue maturely, thanks for that. I want u to tell me ur mind on all about someone assumong the seat of the presidency, all he thinks of is to share political positions amongst the tribes in such a way he won't offend anybody yet some won't feel happy. Doesn't that say much about our unity ? Is it healthy to our system ? Hope dis doesn't derail d thread.

This is the hypocrisy i was talking about....Got his back how? Please don't rewrite history, when Zik was romancing the North, no one complained of betrayal or anything. Can you name the agreement between the SE and SW that the SW breached? Just name them and i will apologize right here.

I am waiting.....
lol, did i even mention agreement on my post ? Thought i said if Mr A "feels".... Then, there was no agreement, just like there wasn't an agreement b4 2015 presidential election where Yorubas felt Gej had his cabinets filled with Igbos and hence, must do everything to get rid of him n spite the Igbos. U are welcomed. Thanks for that, it has channeled a new route for us.

Dika mmadu gwara gi ebe a, o gazinu aka nma West Africa nile i bu otu obodo.

Why would u even sympathize with Russia wanting those nations back ? U are a Yoruba not an Igbo, cos it is typical of u to wish pple's sovereignity clamped down. U only feel for Russia even with their landmass and u don't bother about others who are enjoying freedom Biafra will soon enjoy.

Answer me in Igbo if u dare.

I have nothing in common with people of the Sad east. They hate me and I do as well, make God grant them there biafra so they can leave our land in peace.
Nobody hates u. If A feels B got his back against C and D, i an event, B sells him out cheaply to C and D. How do u think A would feel ? A in His good heart plans no revenge but just to be on his own and trust nobody again, yet u see it as hatred. U are a brother, i do not hate u, but dat doesn't mean i shudn't get annoyed with u stepping on my toes.

I disagree completely. This world is created with different kinds of humans. While some people feel "humans are born evil and need to be tamed", some others feel "humans are born innocent but turn evil if radicalized". Some people feel the hatred that breeds between ethnic groups in Nigeria should not be passed generation to generation because if you look closer, you may observe that these large breeding of hate has its roots between disagreements of our ancestors which they failed to resolve. This sort of belief is shared among ALL ethnic groups in Nigeria, that's why you cannot see a completely tribal ethnic group without non-tribal people, you cannot kill the independent mindset of these group of people who want to continue to keep the practice of inter-tribe association going. Just like you have patriots who will die to save their country even when it has not been very fair to them, you also have people who will sell their country for personal gain.

As a more personal example, right in your extended family, you may have cousins who do not associate with you, maybe they see you as evil, based on what their parents may have told them about your family which may not be true because you personally have nothing against them, but look closer, the problem might have roots in problems your parents failed to resolve among themselves, and they now try to set their families against each other for no just reason, maybe just based on their failures to resolve issues in the past.
Nice one, u wrote well. How would u attribute such hatred or misunderstanding to the past alone when u have some in our present wishing a certain region death in the lagoon. It's simply not a thing of the past rather our incompactibility.

Ur more personal example doesn't fit in our context of discussion as this is more complex involves a whole lot of things. Even in ur example, to mend broken ties or mistakes of the past, parties will assume roles that will bring harmony and fully show commitment to build trust. Not such scenario in Nigeria where an Igbo man is not trusted and feared cos of told lies and nonsense beliefs.

I have spoken with many young generations from both sides(age <25) and they don't seem to share your views about the hate part.
The more years go by, the less effect the war will have on the future generations, thus reducing the chance of biafra
The person who said d effect of the war dwindles as the yrs go by told u lies or said dat out of ignorance. How do u feel reading about MKO and his ordeals with Northern powers, now put urself in a Biafran position knowing millions of souls were lost and those responsible are even poking their fingers in ur eyes and u think u would just move on with life. Jihad today keeps getting brutal simply cos of an act and belief from d past. Yrs didn't diminish its spirit. I tell u, as far as Biafrans are told their past, it boils in them especially knowing whom and whom did wat they did. There is no other way yrs can less the effect of the war except total demise of the account in essence, taking it that it never happened.

so, Biafra will surely come to help us appease the war victims. Accepting unity and one with yoruba and hausas in one nation is an offence against them.
PoliticsRe: ‘tom And Jerry’ Relationship Between Igbo And Yoruba by PedroJP(m): 5:39pm On May 31, 2015
Nigeria can't work again, the best thing for us to do is to go our separate ways. Unity and trust can never be in South again which simply means, Hausas are the winners here as their divide and rule system must have worked, unless by a hidden force, will a Southerner emerge again. Now, instead of Hausas to rule us forever, it is better we go our ways in order not to be dragged back to 1800s with Hausas rule.

We harbour so much hatred for each other in this country yet some just feel to deny the truth is being matured and learned. There is no need to say there is nothing wrong, when actually everything is wrong. That's self deceit. U acknowledge the truth doesn't make u less who u are. We are so different in this country that if we were xplosives, we would have gone boom a long time, yet some self acclaimed non bigots keep deceiving themselves shouting "one Nigeria" " let's build Nigeria together" etc, when they know actually that Nigeria is not working. I wonder when they feel Nigeria will become what they dream when our past, present are same and equally moving in same direction. Let us all support the move for separation as it will benefit us all. There is nothing one about Nigeria

Let's stop deceiving ourselves and all rise against this nonsense giant of Africa.

Look, no 1 is saying the igbo should nt have their country bt they should nt drag odas with them. They never thought of breaking away since 1999 bt it's when GEJ lost that they think it's d rait time. See we knw what an igbo can do. They are gud at defrauding. SS should beware, i repeat.
See d way u lie. Nobody has ever said we are forcing SS to leave with us, but they too feel they are cheated and disrespected and want out too, and u put d whole blame on Igbos. Instead of u to fine way to please SS and make them trust u and decide not to leave with SE, u just seat and point fingers. Is anybody dragging them to join Biafran struggle ? They want out too and u are pointing fingers at Igbos.

I'll advise u to find way and please SS if u don't want them to leave and stop saying SE wants to leave with them.

Like Noblezone will say, u can as well wake up and pronounce that some folks in Islam have killed today without u getting any info while Biafrans have not spilt any blood, yet the vultures hate us so much. Why the hate ? If we are useless and contribute nothing to ur zoo, y keep hold of us. Not like we are asking for a share of any property or wealth collectively owned, just to answer our name.

Op, deal with it, Biafra is breathing heavily and is so much alive. U saying GEJ lost and we remembered our Biafra is rubbish. Why don't u support us to leave so that u can enjoy ur power or are u afraid of anything ?

Instead of these Vultures in the zoo to seek how peace and harmony can be reached, they are busy denying and provoking Reality the more.

Eurobomber, i didn't hear from u today. Ilekeh too, wat happened ?

The only thing you all proved today was that Biafra is a PURELY igbo project. I didn't see Calabar, Ibibio, Urhobo, Ijaw, or Ikwerre people commemorating the day like you all. That much I think is now crystal clear.
U wish. Make contacts and know whatsup. Why bother about pple who joined or pple who didn't join. Thought u advocate we leave SS out ND out of our plans, why now worry u didn't notice aanything about them? Though u didn't observe well cos they all held gatherings in different places in ND. Did even notice we showed the world we are Biafrans and not Nigerians ? No gree and white, no name Nigeria, just a pple determined and blessed.

Plshavmercyamen:
That is not Owelle's Twitter handle. Does he even have one? But, sincerely, If the type of Biafra being agitated for is the one that will have the current MASSOB and the present Igbo "leaders" at the helm of affairs, then I Say emphatically, MAY BIAFRA NEVER RISE NOR SUCCEED. Udo diri unu
Biafrans currently have both worthy and corrupt leaders. God will provide who will lead us, who will transform us, who will make us strong and a formidable force. Mind u Igbos won't allow a person who can't perdorm like TA Orji rule them. If by chance such person emerges, just comments from Anambra to Abia will unseat such person.

Now let me give u an illustration. In an accounting department, u hardly steal or cheat on figures as majority or all know what u know as a leader, so u have no option than to be accountable and credible. Unlike when u have three, four, five or more departments together with a single leader, operations will be dubious and will lack accountability as we see in Nigeria today where tribal interests overshadows ideal intersts.

Hope u got my gist ? Yorubas and Hausas should accept and support this division as it will favour all of us. No need to fear the unknown as it can turn to advantage of all. From 1914, now in 2015 and nothing to show for it simply means it's not working. No need to fear, let us all take the bold step and go our separate ways, hussle, make our names and be proud of ourselves.

Now i believe 30th of May 2015 must have answered questions asked by Nigerians on how we intend to survive having our Biafra, seeing how united Biafrans are. One would wonder how come Biafran flags, vests, oneness, crowd home and in diaspora was well organised and kept the flag flying with passion. How much more, when they have Biafra of their dream.

What sort of entity has two National flags where they are symbols to their faithfuls and yet pretend to be one. Biafrans all over the world showed that the spirit is so much alive against lies from certain pple that Biafran spirit is dead and only a thing on social media. Nigeria and Nigerians should come to accept the fact that Biafra is in no way compactible with it. There is nothing one about Nigeria

we are resilient and determined to have Biafra in peace. It is our identity, a Noble one. We identified our real selves today and not in the usual fake green and white. Biafrans want out to allow Nigeria enjoy its resources alone while we seek the help of Chukwuabiama to bless us more and more.

There is nothing to be afraid of in division as peace will be maintained and mutual understanding will exist among all tribes.

Viva Biafra.
