PoliticsRe: Why 90 Percent Of Southerners Are Tired Of Buhari's Government by Pedropa: 6:36am On Jun 02, 2016
Despite the economic condition his administration brought with it, he impose different taxes and levies on masses, as if that was enough, he increased fuel prize and a divisive president at that. Couldn't even show concern on our sufferings rather doubled it with his fulani legal and illegal soldiers he sent down south to kill and destroy. God dey.
PoliticsRe: Fayose Strongly Condemns Killing Of Igbo Protesters by Pedropa:
meanwhile, Anambra state government in their effort to sound being politically correct didn't condemn the act more or less acting themselves to show anger.

On the other hand, some so called Igbo Chiefs visited Buhari with their faces beaming with smiles as if all is well with pple they said they are representing. U see them with red caps on top of their heads, shoulder raised high with fat tummies that make dem seem like fat pigs smiling in front of an aboki as if it is a priviledge to meet an aboki who is a president, one not doing well at that, forgetting the pight of the pple they represent.

It is worth celebrating a priviledge to assume a position but it is foolishness to equally go about celebrating other priviledges the position assumed accords u.

I wonder why Igbo so called chiefs won't see themselves as chief in front of these political leaders and act as chiefs instead of acting as individuals given a priviledge to meet them.

For crying out loud, a position u occupy assumes another role from ur individual self. Even if u don't have honour as a person, at least consider the honour of a position assigned to u.

Left for me, nobody should go out there representing Igbos with inferiority stance.

I wish our youths would learn and stop shouting here and there when other tribes deal with our Igbo elites as they don't speak for us in our plights.
Imagine everybody kept quiet as if those lives wasted by fulani forces do not matter.

Thank God man is not the supreme being.

Most Igbo political elites are fools

The main question! Who are these guys?
I don remember u today. I'v been observing u and that quokatellious1 abi quaker oat for a while now. U both abandoned ur old monickers and assumed these ones to sound apolitical after bubu has disgraced u guys one way or the other,or u both switch ur old monickers and assume different stance on ur monickers. My point is hucienda and quokatellious1 are monickers registered this year to sound apolitical and no party alliance. Continue
PoliticsRe: 50 Nigerian Soldiers Drowned In Bayelsa Creeks, Not 3 — N’delta Avengers by Pedropa: 3:53pm On Jun 01, 2016
Just that this same military are good in killing unarmed protesters. Rest in peace to the dead as u died on the course of duty and maybe couldn't have rejected being drafted to the creeks even if u wanted.

I believe some survivors there won't go to that creek again. They'll rather shoot u that go back to experience such struggle with the water again.

There has been war in Nigeria since 1967. It is eaither Aburi accord is accepted or a national confab suiting all parties is implemented. Either ways can bring out peace and patriotism in all citizens. Otherwise this war will continue till the chance comes to burn down the zoo comes.

There is no big deal in us discussing our way forward. It is only oppressors that would want to continue having the evil system.

For those that rejoice @ the seemingly weak disposition of the military, note that once any group over powers the military it sends a bad signal to more internal and external aggressors who will come to plunder further..... Better support law and order for your own good .
No, maybe an invasion will split the damned nation and put an end to the injustice in the nation. You want pple to support military that kills their own ? God bless Biafrans

I love this.

It seems the fear of yorubas has turned to prayer point for some of you.

Yorubas must definitely be next to God, for always successfully sabotaging anything and everything they want to sabotage, without anyone having the liver to square up to them or even sabotage their own effort.

All hail the Almighty Yorubas, an ethnicity that is next to God!!!!!!!!!!!!!

alheriTOJ:
I really do hope you're based in the Niger Delta, your comments are just rather shallow 100% of the time. You dont have to stand with Buhari, by all means go ahead and run for the post of Queen Mother for NDA, while encouraging them hope you will also stand with them several years down the line when those exposed to the pollution caused by their acts start to affect their people biologically? I urge you to even move there like yesterday, probably take your family along. You're here supporting an act that will in years to come deform many individuals? You're the poster child for cluelessness.
Madam preacher, do u really care for them or u are after the fall of oil money and light awaiting u ? How many times u don try speak against oil spillage abi u don't know about that.

PoliticsRe: The Dilemma Of Solution To Militancy; Yaradua's Mistake Pmb's Choice by Pedropa: 3:19pm On May 07, 2016
EazyMoh:
We all know that majority of the militants are looking for money. Those demands are just a cover up. Apart from monthly alert Yaradua didn't implement all those promises not to talk of GEJ. Even those that started bombings much later in GEJ'S tenure were calling for amnesty phase two and phase 3.
Is it not better each State manages her resources, that way, any militancy in any state will know that their end result will be dragging their states backward.

NigerDeltans are not terrorists and are demanding for what is theirs. Total Resource control will settle the whole issue while the FG stands in a position of "begging" for a quantity of each states resources to carry out some operations.
PoliticsRe: The Dilemma Of Solution To Militancy; Yaradua's Mistake Pmb's Choice by Pedropa: 3:07pm On May 07, 2016
EazyMoh:
So you are suggesting absolute carrot on this one. But remember that approach didn't solve militancy.
What has helped ? Stick ? Cos it is not your area ? Mind you, this your stick approach is to kill and destroy lives and properties. Has it helped from the time of Abacha till OBJ ?

Why don't you ask we try the option of the people controlling their resources while the FG stands in the position of begging crumbs from them, afterall oil isn't the only resouce Nigeria is blessed with.

i agree with Tonye barcanista.
I will suggest every community vigillante protect pipeline along thier community. With monthly allowance paid directly to the community vigillante.

I dont believe in giving contract to war lord like Tompolo who end up using d money to oppress niger delta people and further promote millitancy as a career path.
You are not in a position to suggest or agree with anybody, you are not from NigerDelta.

They'v made their demands, and there is nothing like awarding contracts there. Let us discuss our state of unity as a country through SNC.

Let us discuss our progress in a round table including all stake holders big and small or everybody suffers. This demand is genuine and ideal.

I think every party should agree without reservation.
PoliticsRe: Power Generation Crumbles To 0MW For Hours by Pedropa: 10:27am On Apr 01, 2016
Reference:
Here is how it works. Every generator has two parts. The engine and the alternator. The generator may be a gas turbine, a diesel engine or a water turbine. Alternators convert the mechanical movement to electricity through magnets.

Now, in a simple diesel generator, between the engine and the alternator there is a device called a governor. It matches the speed of the engine with the electrical load to maintain a stable voltage. Increase load and engine speed increases.

Power plants don't work that way. Gas turbines and hydro turbines have a 'fixed' engine speed. They give out specific current at specific voltage. Once design loads are exceeded they are designed to shutdown automatically to prevent damage.

We operate an single interlinked grid that is not smart. All power stations feed into one chain. If one or more power stations fail and load is not shed (cut-off), the load is transmitted to the other power stations which trip off one after the other until all of them fail. That is when the system is termed to have crashed.

For them to have regained power within 3 hours my bet is that either Kainji or Shiroro must have taken the load because it takes much longer to get a gas turbine going again once it shuts down, sonetimes up to 24 hours depending on the config of the plant and the quality of the gas.
Good day bro. No ves abeg. Can u tutor me a little on how diesel or petrol gets converted into electric current in a generator. I keep wondering what happens right there in the gen set to give us electicity or are their demons or spirits in the gen sets who feed on petrol to give out current. Don't mind my thinking. Thanks in advance.

This pple prepared for trouble instead of being prepared to govern.
