Nairaland / General / Re: Where Do You Find Nigerians Most Uncivilized? by PeeBee: 2:32pm On Apr 05, 2012
agabaI23: I have been wondering but now I know I am not alone.
A guy will be patient in all the queues in Europe and immediately he steps down at MMA, he wants to jump immigration queue stat
Like Jarus, I hate the horning from drivers just because they cannot be patient for 2 seconds. A little traffic jam and someone wants to break the rules. Then he blocks other people's way and we have a gridlock. The same person will start cursing everybody. It's all crazy.
Its really crazy, especially with these commercial vehicles, some go as far as dropping/picking passengers at the middle of the road.
Nairaland / General / Re: Where Do You Find Nigerians Most Uncivilized? by PeeBee: 1:14pm On Apr 05, 2012
A lot of Nigerians have a problem with staying on a queue, had one of such experience this morning at the bus stop.

Dipwater: Dat reminds me of my xpiriece in abia state wen I went to visit my cousin ,we were in a restuarnt eating wen the guvnors son came in with his armed bodi guards .they sent evri1 out cuz the guvs son wanta to eat .he paid the bills sha, but I wuz mad I refused to leave at first, but angrily stompd out of the gadamn joint cuz of his security men .dat is even worst than been uncivilised infact it is a bush mentality
This happened for real?

Computers / Re: Computer Village Equivalent In Abuja by PeeBee: 8:21pm On Apr 03, 2012
lilyafaten: Go to GSM village, it is at wuse Zone one. There is a fuel station opposite hally brothers or SSM in wuse zone one, the GSM village is behind d fuel station. or if u enter bus from area one going to wuse ,u tell d driver to drop u at GSM village, when u get down u just cross d road and enter.

I'm assuming you've never been to the gsm village. . .not an option IMO.
NYSC / Re: Was The New Nysc Posting Policy Fully Implemented? by PeeBee: 2:06pm On Mar 30, 2012
^^^^That is one issue I have with the policy, a good number of graduates have no practical experience that would serve them in getting employment. Nysc used to create avenues for them to be retained or if not, the chance to know what the working environment feels like, on-the-job experience and also acquiring contacts which may not be experienced by the teeming population of new teachers.
This is just the first batch and I believe the policy would be modified over time, the only people I pity are the pupils some of these graduates are going to teach.

Just discovered this is old news.
Family / Re: 25 Year Old Guy Impregnates His Mum In Abuja! by PeeBee: 12:59pm On Mar 18, 2012
Sad if its true, but I think the 'church people' are just tale-bearers in asking them to confess to a congregation. The 'pastor' could have asked both of them to confess their sins to God and ask him for forgiveness (at least in his office), this should not have made the news.

Nairaland / General / Re: "Nairaland 2.0" Is Live! Any Questions Or Feedback? by PeeBee: 11:29am On Mar 11, 2012
Just like I imagined, this change would be forced on us. I just hope they modify some features cos it would be terrible if someone already thinks 'this' is a masterpiece.

edupedia:

simple answer. go to your school to get it or if your school is by some reason(eg debt owed to neco) unable to collect them yet  then get a confirmatory letter from your school that it issued your statement of result and is awaiting your certificate from waec. you can also get neco to confirm the result directly to uniport.their ilupeju office say it will not cost much(N2000?) and can be done within two weeks.u can approach their state office where u took the exam too.
Simple solution, y

lol @ comments.
@op some of them are so proud, even with their cheap second-hand outfits and their crazy idea that anywhere outside Lagos is a village and being from the south makes you 'omo ibo'. I guess those ones are those who stay in slums and never had the opportuinity to travel.
Romance / Re: How Can You Overcome Insecurities In A Long Distance Relationship? by PeeBee: 9:17pm On Feb 28, 2012
As some people have said, if she has not cheated on you then you have a good reason to trust her. Another thing to consider is if you are cheating or flirting wherever you are.
