Please for some of us that applied for interview date, how long did it take to get a feedback? I'm kinda worried, I'm sure everything is okay with my application.

i did €8640 + (€4.9*12) + €89. That should give you a total. For TIN I filled NOT AVAILABLE.

3weeks, and I got my admission letter from the University in exactly 7days

Till after your interview is ok. Just book a date with the 2-page PDF document from Fintiba named "Make The Transfer".
Ensure to use an appropriate subject when mailing the consulate for a date. The body of the mail should be well structured too

Hi everybody, I received my admission letter today for master program. Y'all needed to see the way I was dancing. This thread has been sooooo helpful all the way. From application for admission to opening of blocked account. And even now that I'm about to book for visa appointment. I appreciate everyone here that has contributed to this thread. Vielen Dank. About my fintiba account, do I need to deposit the buffer amount €100 now? Or I should leave everything till after my interview?

Okpala, how did you arrive at this figure? from the consulate site, the minimum is still 8,640 (plus buffer deposit of 100, plus initial admin fee of 89)

Please confirm, You can still open with more tho, but that's the minimum requirement

I input 720 monthly for what should be released to me. Total 720*12 is 8640 plus €100 and €4.90 monthly charge everything is £8,800. My account details was sent to me, including *make the transfer* document. Please how can I rectify this?

You don't need to apply on the German embassy website, what you need do is to send them a mail to the email address I provided to you then you get a reply from them

Input the residential address which you used for the application. Don't use any other address cos it might boomerang if they notice there's a difference in the addresses you gave to them.

Immediately you get the admission letter from the school, open a blocked account on www.fintiba.com.
Afterwards, you will be given an account details. Make sure you give a valid email address where fintiba can easily communicate with you.

Once you get the account details from fintiba, book for an appointment through your mailbox by attaching the following documents:
1. Admission letter
2. Fintiba account details (a downloaded copy sent by Fintiba)
3. Passport page (International Passport)

Type your name & the Residential address then send it to this email address: student@lago.diplo.de

You will get a reply from the German embassy where you will be given a date for your visa interview.

I heard they've started processing student visa in Abuja too. so are they giving Abuja or Lagos based on residential address? Or do I need to input the location needed during application?
