Seems you stick mostly with uber? That's a good decision to reach 25 trips on time and enjoy 3% commission for the rest of the week.

Whether the hackney peemit is 3500 or 1 naira, saying "let's just pay it and forget it" is why we keep rewarding corruption

Do you know how many cars they will collect such illegal fees from if we all think "it is just 3500"?

Let's stop being docile and rewarding corruption because we dont want trouble.

I support AngryIgboMan on this argument.

In 2018, When Donald Trump imposed steel tariffs against Canadian Steel, Many Canadians responded by boycotting made in USA products.

If Nigerians are not good enough to travel to the USA, should we continue to patronize American companies like Apple, Amazon, Hewlett-Packard, Ford, GM Motors, Godaddy, Namecheap, Tom Ford, DKNY, Boeing, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Levi's, Gap, etc?

Romance › Re: My Wife Has Refuses To Have Sex With Me For 6 Months Now - What Should I Do? by peeps4u: 10:43pm On Jan 30, 2020
I've seen some men complaining about their wives refusing them sex. In fact, I knew one man who would many times had to break in to her wife's room by kickong the door.
These are signs when the wives are no longer into their husbands.

I have come to realize that men also need to feel valued. In fact, if a man is the one that always initiates or asks for sex, he needs to stop and discipline himself to shun sex for a while. Wives should also learn to demand and initiate sex. This way, men also feel valued and desired.

For your case, I dont want to sound judgemental. I will advise you first speak with your wife and ask her what the issue is about your sexual life, if her excuse is still same, please stop asking for sex. You also deserve to be valued and be desired to have sex with. If you can stay off sex for months just to discipline yourself, and let your wife even begin to suspect you have started seeing someone outside. This will unsettle her and let you know her game; she will either loosen up or show forth what she has been up to

This is a married man talking.

Good luck in your marriage

BTW, I hope you with the house chores?

shugaboz:
Please hide my identity. We have been married for over 4 years now. We have a 3-year-old son. Well my wife didn't just gave birth, no its over a year plus. About 6 months ago our sexual life collapsed totally. I haven't made love to my wife for this period, its not that I don't want to, I really need to but she has refused me and its killing me. I love my wife and I don't want to cheat on her but its becoming too much.

6 months is a long period of time to forgive someone if I had offended her but that's not the case here. All she complains about is work stress and tiredness.

Now I am confused because I don't know if she now has a boyfriend that is having sex with her

Please what do you think I can do to save my marriage.

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by peeps4u:
For me, I'm seeing the ban on okada and marwa as insensitive and also another fact that Nigeria isnt conducive for business.

Insensitive in that some of these roads need services of okada as some of them are bad. Besides, I don't see how this will curb traffic because ban on these people means there will probably be more danfos pumped into the public and more cars.

Inconducive for business in the sense that govt can literally wake up one day and kill a booming businees.
Opay just recently in last year paid LASG govt and also heavily settled NURTW just to be able to operate, now same govt just rescinded its earlier decision and took a decision that will kill the business it once collected money from them and have permission to operate. What happens to this business and these Oride guys now?

If govt could do this and probably doesn't affect us today, it can also take any decision tommorrow that will hurt us all.

We can agree or disagree about this ban, we have diverse views to same issue but I will not rejoice or justify the govt just because the ban means more money for uber drivers.

If the govt hurts uber tommorrow also with another policy, are we then going to agree govt has taken a bad decision and criticize it for the same policy we once praised it for?

May God not put our food and survival at the mercy of our enemies and even govt.

Don't mind them, we nigerians know how to complain about things but will never lift a finger to remedy the situation.

Only in this forum we have nothing less than a 100 drivers even if we r 50 I've said these b4 we can start from somewhere,
if 50 of us can come together I dont mean gathering at a particular venue ooh, we r already here,
we contribute little token
print banners with some captions of areas we need change
Pick a particular day for a peaceful protest
Go to the police zonal headquarters to get an approval
Tie those banners on our cars
Then we all drive from our various location to a particular point then start driving to their head office in VI
As we go any driver we see along the road we tell them to join us.
Some will definitely join and our Nos will increase.
We'll tell Uche this is just level 1 and give him an ultimatum because d next time we come he won't like what we'll do.

Tell me if this protest is done just once you think taxify
/uber won't adjust?

But we all just want to sit at the comfort of our home and expect a change, complaining on their app won't change anything. And change will never come without a drastic measures taken
Bro, Nigerians only love protesting behind keyboard. Protest is not really in our blood and this "I mind my business" attitude especially in lagos is bad.

This is exactly why Nigeria might not work. Granted that the Lastma officer shouldn't have attempted to forcefully gain entry into your vehicle, you equally failed to acknowledge that you deserve a fine or at least a speeding ticket for violating a traffic law.

Obeying the rule of law is what makes the society sane.

God bless our hustle.
I get your points........but
If only the fines reflect the gravity of the offence.
These fines were just designed as source of income for govt and not to necessarily enforce traffic orderliness. That's you will enter a one-way road without any road sign indicating one way. How Will a stranger know this is a one way road without sign?

How much was monthly minimum wage last year? Imagine someone being charged 11k for traffic offence.

These fines are just simply an extortion from govt. No citizen will happily submit himself to pay it if he has the option to run.

This is money ritual summarily highlighted.

Jiayu:
So, I think I should post this for all to learn from it. After doing offline to Ibadan last week and elders in the house agreed the fare was OK, I decided to chat up another rider over the weekend and let her know that I do offline even out of the state. From our discussion, she said I had picked her up before and she like my driving . Unknowingly to me, her husband was looking for someone to take him to IFo in Ogun State today. I quickly jumped into it. Was told I would take him and his colleagues there wait for them prolly for the whole day and bring them back.

Long story short, I charged 40k,used 3k to buy fuel again, on Coro 009. Picked him around 7 am from Osapa London and dropped him back at VI. Luckily for me they didn't even wait for up to 2hrs in IFo.

We re back in Lagos already. Local man is happy. grin

Not bad if we see a potential rider and let them know that we do offline. But be cautious sha o. Shine ya eye!

Its very clear guys, ehailing made corolla a popular demand and therefore increase in price especially in Nigeria but over the sea the price is a little bit minimal.

Presently, its very difficult to even get a corolla to buy in the US right now because Nigerians have bought almost all these corolla manufactured. Present price of a corolla now is nothing short of 2m. You can check around to confirm.

Sooner or later there'll be a hike in the price of Honda civic as corolla is becoming scare and its a better alternative to the popular.
I also foresee the bolded. The demand for civic is getting high now.
