Nairalandbuzz, you asked for support, some few patriotic Nigerians who believe in pimple tv project have paid 3600 for the subscription and till now no show.
Is your definition of patriotism giving fraudsters like Ben one's hard earned money?
People paid 25k for the box and now 3600 for sub and yet no value for it. Should one still continue to dash Ben his money in the name of patriotism?
You guys lie behind "let's support nigerain brands" to defraud people with your junky box called pipul tv. |

Lienn: The problem i see here is that Uber drivers are not being proactive
Why are you guys not gathered at Lekki or Maryland to demand explanations from Uber and Bolt? Everybody just sit down on top him chair dey wait for the first VIO scapegoat
Uber has always had issues with local cab businesses. They have been banned in some countries, and they have issues in some states in the USA. Or you guys expect those old, tribal marked men to go and farm in their villages?
Uber and Bolt are keeping quiet because you all are keeping quiet.
If i were you guys, i'll enquire from the VIO, and march to Uber to solve the requirement issues. If Uber no gree, make una off app.
When dem go, another Nigerian go build him own, una go join and hustle continues
Make una use una strength for once I don talk this tire yesterday that drivers need to go and approach uber and force uber to communicate on the next move in clear terms but people are waiting to see the first VIO casualty before action. To even tweet on this issue na wahala. Most tweets I read on this issue are from non-drivers. We are the reason why our nation is like this. We are receptive to every thing govt throws at us and adjust instead of voicing out. Anyone thay wants to do hackney permit should go ahead and do it. It is obvious drivers ain't even ready to act on this VIO issue. |

nairalandbuzz: I hear you. See, Pipul TV is real. I have seen contracts and signed agreements.... Nigeria might not be a good place for business... But I just hate to see Nigerians hating on Nigerian businesses... U guys should have faith... When MTN, it was very expensive... People rushed it and they used their money to build... Pipul TV is reasonably cheap and you should understand better It is not about having faith or hating Nigerian business. There is no sentiment in business. You can sell a junk for 25k to public with unrealistic promises and then promise having faith. Pimple tv came with lies and continues with lies. Why lying about beIN sports airing right, lying that people would stream even with 2g but even people are complaining with 4g, lying about unlimited streaming with data and 9mobile deals and also lying that they told buyers they buying the decoders for test transmission, which never the case? One Will know a serious business, startimes came through legal Avenue and still operates, they bought some league rights but your pimple tv thought it could operate by pirating beIN contents and sell to public. Let pimple tv also go and buy airing rights from those leagues as Startimes did. Pupil tv is a fraud, reality has humbled a lot of you now. You came here yesterday or so to taunt 'haters' becuase Ben toyed with you guy's heads again and told you susbcription would start on Wednesday, today is Friday, how far? You wish You could mock people with pipul tv but NO, but now pleading for support after reality has set in |

I remember that post. Let everyone continue with sit down look. Even if we think VIOs are wrong in their arrest, is it by avoiding we solve the issue? Uber is the parent comoany here which registered with govt, now that VIOs are claiming one licence or the other from drivers, isn't it reasonable drivers approach uber to clear the air on this issue so drivers can operate freely? It is the drivers that are facing the harrassment on the streets but same drivers aren't ready to approach uber or govt for clear way forward. Our docility is second to none. Lienn: I read here when a rider told us he defended his Uber driver from the hands of VIO last year.
They asked for LASDRI and Hackney permit. I read it here.
Rumor or not, the wise thing to do is to unitedly know the way forward.

Dont quote people again if you don't want to be quotedVision2045: I would have replied your guys that quoted me ignorantly up there...but the essence of this group is not about throwing banters...
I drive and have encountered vio several times and had no case of impoundment....
I only addressed the information and never judged or said anyone is wrong or right or said going to vio office if Ur car is impounded means you are chasing clout.
Uber registered in Nigeria as a Tech company with focus on solving transportation issues...Uber operates in Abuja and not just Lagos..and we have vio over there as well...so y the apprehension in Lagos.
If you know any one whose car was impounded let them come out here and tell us how the conversation played out..
The ban on okada in Lagos is beyond what you are seeing....it's preparation for 2023, I won't say more than that.
If u quote me ignorantly, my reply henceforth might not be friendly.... |

topsydee007: Yes Uber and bolt has operating license....it's not about Uber now. .it's more about drivers and most importantly those govt task force charged to enforce the law....most go out of their line of duties and be frustrating drivers
Speaking about okadaban....some task force went to aboru iyana ipaja yesterday to go park bikes park within the compound ( bikes that were not working).. shey govt send them that one?.....
I'm sure govt didn't send any vio to ask Uber drivers for shit...but out of greed most of the official will ask what they know u won't have and impound your vehicle and they know no one will fight for u
Nigerian situation Drivers need to match to uber and bolt offices, let them state that they have fulfilled all righteousness with state govt, then we know the next step. But presently, VIO are claiming uber doesn't have this and that and no response yet from uber. Uber needs to respond and drivers need to force them to do that. "Working smart" to avoid VIO isn't going to solve it. They might as well go extra mile to bait drivers with requests and impound their cars on arrival. |

Whatsapp me i will update u more 08099785775. Please izzou i need ur contact. Kindly chat me up And someone was saying those going to VIO for inquiry were chasing clout. At this point, since uber isn't responding and drivers are docile and arent ready to go on protest and pressurize uber into action, anyone should do anything for himself to avoid VIO wahala. |

Oga, nobody is chasing clout going to VIO office. I also kicked against it even on this thread few days ago. But would you blame those that go when cars are already being impounded and no action from either uber or even drivers? Everyone is acting like "I dont care". If You can't make a call to go and pressure uber at their office to attend to this issue so that the harassment on drivers would stop, dont blackmail those who chose to make inquiry at VIO so they can drive with peace with 'clout chasing' Vision2045: I really don't think that is attainable...Uber and Bolt have the operators license to carry out business in the state and that is conferred on their partners ..the highest that can happen is asking them to leave.
And u guys need to stop all these clout you are building because very soon the government will leverage on those unlost things u people are seeking...wetin the person go find for vio office wey bring about such irrelevant discussion |

Saw this in a group, can't say of its genuity Just leaving VIO office. They directed me to go to GRA Code Of Conduct Bureau. I was told we need Operator's license from UBER or each driver should register for the license with 100k each and also body tag and one stupid thing like that for 10k. Guys, let's look for alternatives o or we should learn to work smart. They are really mean in clamping us down. Either we like it or not. |

Your 25k is fair enough on your part. I think it will be fair on the driver's side to be responsible for repairs, say 7k or 5k below. How long does it take to do inspection n register on Uber?
Also once the car is used by driver, who should take care of car repairs? Car owner or driver? How much does he remit? The driver handles minor repairs like 5k or so below while you do repairs above that amount and also the servicing of the car. I wont even advise you that the driver should handle the servicing, he will skip servicing and use bad oil to save cost. |
