Even trafic radio is tired of reporting trafic situation in lagos now. Trafic congestion Everywhere. From your compound to the main road. Very soon they will introduce Lagos Traffic Institute where Lagosians will study how to behave and manage traffic situations.
The thing is getting worse.

In fact Gmap alerted me in the morning that "the traffic is getting worse"

The craziness with corolla is annoying. The young man will be remitting close to 40k weekly to complete the 3.59m in 24 months, all in a bid to buy Coro when he can own his car with 1.4m

Fam, pls c d offer a friend of mine got from a company that sells cars.. he wanted tokumbo 2010 Corolla for Uber in Abuja and he had up to 1.4m wyt him .... but my advice was for him to get Nigeria use at 1.8m instead for the below pic
They wants to sell d car 2.5m but if he will be asked to pay for 24month at a total of 3.59m (after all d calculation I did).... I don’t know which is better
Why would your friend have 1.4m and still decide to enslave himself to someone else for 24months servicing a 3.59m HP car when he can own his own car with that 1.4m

Tell him to go buy civic 03-05 or elantra with that 1.4m. He can even get big daddy for the same amount with good search.

You friend should be a car owner with that amount. For the sake of anything good, advise him to drop the HP thought and buy himself a car. What does he need 10 corolla for?

Just useless bad news every now and then...
Oga, educative posts also make FP. You don't expect all FP posts to be full of educative posts, besides how many educatice posts are made on daily basis? Some people need thread like this to laugh off their day stress. It is the diversity of posts that make NL what it is today. You can literally find info on anything on NL. Nairaland isn't a forum designed for particular niche, it is encompassing and accommodates any post.

You listen here. US loses more actual dollars than any other country when oil price falls. What u said is that it is good for US economy. Of course it affects Nigeria more but there’d be more bankruptcies in US
LOL.

If low oil price will send US to recession, then Nigeria will cease to exist before then.

Nigerians should protest against ASUU.

You are not better than other civil servants that are on IPPIS. We have to stop the fraud!
In as much as I dont fully support ASUU, but what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Until all institutions like CBN, FIRS staff are also included on IPPIS scheme before ASUU can be arm-twisted I to this scheme.

If FG can exclude some institutions from IPPIS, ASUU will also not allow itself included. These ASUU men are educated, that's why they always seem stubborn because they know their rights.

Tell him to take the offer, the North is safe all those news we see on tv and read online are all audio and business pattern.

If you yourself go to the North you wouldn't want to come back to this Lagos again.
He should park the car at home and give the offer a try for like 2months then see how things go.

My 2 cent though.
Provided the area in the north isn't proned to bandit and BH attacks.

Some areas in the North are truly unsafe

I have a Hyundai Accent 2010 Tokunbo with 1.6L engine for higher purchase.

Requirements includes;
1. Two established grantors
2. Good driving history on Uber and bolt platform with at least 4.70 rating
3. Reside on the island or nearby axis
4. 200k initial deposit
5. PH duration within 2years.

Interested persons should mail me on. niceguy4business@gmail.com
You should rather put the amount you're willing to offer the car for HP and weekly remittance than PH duraton.

He remits 30k weekly and does 10k repairs.

God bless your woman. Another person would have ordered another ride and that sleepy driver would have taken another person and endangered his/her life.

It is possible to make unbelievable amount in a week, i wont argue that, but It comes at the expense of driver's health and sanity.

Rest is important
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by peeps4u: 9:10am On Mar 04, 2020
I wont argue on how much any driver can make in a week or day, but any partner that undermines the importance of rest for drivers on this job is wicked.

Guys, rest. This job is stressful and bodies need rest.
Owner partners move on when a driver dies on this job, bolt and uber also move on.

I don't know if this is true i read it just now that uber will be charging 10 percent per trip from ehailing driver...
Read same news. The 10% per trip fee is to be charged on uber by LASG, the money is going to the govt. I am sure the riders will bear the loss. I just hope it won't affect the patronage.

But this 10% tax pee trip after all these operational licence fee, Lasdri and hackey is just a pure extortion.

Pay 1mil now and spread the rest for 6months
Congo4ka, if the vehicle is top notch, go for this rather than HP.

You can conveniently pay 100k monthly and still have lil change with you, then finish the payment in say 6 months and the car fully yours.

But do your thorough findings on the car, like the year, dont take v6 engine Please.

Good luck.

Why not get HP and make the 750k as down payment for a tokunbo. Pay up the balance within a year or 18 months as you wish and you're the owner. My opinion though huh cool.
Getting 400-600k loan is far better. This man already has 1million naira. It will take him less time to settle it, whatever he earns on the car is fully his and he can always pay his loan back from there. He can pay up the loan in 4-6 months rather than 18 months servicing HP paying almost double of the car worth.
