When was the last time they played PL?
And does that mean they just escaped relegation? Which relegation did they escape?
You goofed, accept and move on.

Leeds just gained promotion, rather than saying they escaped relegation.
There is a differeince between relegation and promotion.

Leeds got promoted from lower division to EPL while relegation is demotion to lower division from EPL or upper division.

In this case, leeds just got promoted, not relegated.

wait for the court's verdict / judgement..
While we await the court judgement, the fact of the moment is that she ran away from UK into Nigeria after failing to honour several calls from UK Police. Her rape accusation in UK has been found to be false and the guy has been cleared, she left UK to avoid police arrest.
She has failed to clear her name with UK police, so much his false accusations will surely be against her in the database and may never enter UK or Europe or any good country again.

Not anyone can buy a hous in UK, just like not anyone can have a house in Nigeria also. You must be financially stable to do that. A poor man can't do that.
I was reacting to your post like the young Dr is not worth the lady attempting to tie him down with pregnancy.

The lady attempted twice to go meet this guy after her first visa denial. It was even the guy that helped her to secure the second visa. Why didn't she relocate on herself?

This lady was eating free food, internet and accommodation for more than 3 months with this guy. I guess she would enjoy that without paying for them if she relocated on her own?

She got angry after the guy didn't show commitment when sh arrived UK.

She wanted the guy.
That's all

I will advise you should make contacts/provisions for clearing also. A lot of people will just want to pay for the cars and have them at their doors, very few people will be interested in clearing the cars themselves.

Good luck

Gmap will take you almost anywhere in lagos without issue.
If you have the money or access to soft loan to get a car, go ahead. Do opt for rental or HP with your job, you can't meet up unless you're ready to dip into your pocket to settle weekly remittance.

800k-1m max good naija used car would have been good for this job, but you might not fancy naija used cars.

Good luck

With the down payment of 300k, you dont need to be skeptical.
The 15k weekly is fair enough to the driver, you may advise him to increase to 20k if he can, the earkier he finishes the payment, the better for him.

Give the young man a chance, being a new driver isn't supposed to be a stumbling block. Everyone of us was once a new driver. We only create a fuss around being an old driver on the platform, every smart person will quickly adapt and learn on the job within the first few days.
As a new driver on the platform when I started, I did only uber and I was doing very well.
The most inportant thing is driving skill.

Y1nka:
So update on the Nissan versa i posted earlier . (1.6L).

A member from this thread came for inspection and test drive today, and agreed he likes the car and could go on with HP.

Conditions are

- first payment of 300k

- 2 gurantors

- 15k payment weekly till compeleted (10months)

- car will be given in serviced and fully functional condition on “pick up”.

- i willingly plan to give him first week off payment (payment starts after two weeks)

- he has 3 days grace period from start of the purchase agreement to report or return the car if any issue and get a refund (none though).

.

So in all honesty, i think this is fair deal. Pls can someone put mw through on what to put in place to not allow default? And are the conditions good enough for this “period” or nothuh Am i making a smart decisionhuh

The “Driver” hasn’t paid yet, also he is a new driver. Yes he sounds nice , and looks decent , but I’m slightly skeptical about being “new” on the platform. which i told him

Any guide pleasa? Sorry its my first HP. Doing it cos i got another car and not using this much again.

Pic of car below as of today

You shouldn't have uploaded anything aside insurance. Your DL name doesn't need to carry same as the insurance. If it were like that, no drivers on rental would have been able to upload insurance because the cars wouldn't bear their names as on DL

There is one 5w30 oil named hardex. You may try it.
brosiye99:
Please I would like to ask of any good conventional/mineral oil of the 5w30 grade I can use for a 2004 Corolla. I have searched wide and it's the expensive synthetic oils I always see in that 5w30 grade. The cheapest I have seen is Mobil Semi synthetic locally made 5w 30 at 5500 naira. I have been using it but it shorts at 2500km so I have to top up one litre and use till 4500-4800km then I go for service.

I prefer frequent oil changes so I don't want to use expensive synthetic 5w 30 oils.

LOL. Weldone sir. A financially conscious person will be worried about every kobo rise in cost of running a business.

Let me burst you. Do you know you can use this same analysis as if the price increase means nothing till the price gets to 500?

Imagine from 160 to 170, sebi it is just a 10 naira difference.
From 170 to 190, sebi it is just 20 naira difference.

.......and it goes like that.

Govt has nothing to do with faring, all I'm saying is drivers should ask for a better pricing from UberBolt.
BRT, NRC, and even FAAN like every other things have increased in prices

Weightless:
Subtract 162- 148 = 14naira difference
so if u buy 30 litres now, dat will be 14naira x 30= that 420 naira whch is just not to 3litres of fuel.
Now if u buy in a tampered filling station u will feel it more.
There is nothing I or any person can do for now till election period, even uber and bolt we have not won the fight against dem it is now govt we wan challenge.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by peeps4u: 1:24pm On Sep 03, 2020
You're right. Just like owners were withdrawing their cars from drivers that couldn't meet up with 40/35k those years. Sebi they have found drivers that are still remitting 40/35k now.
Govt isn't responsible for Uberbolt still maintaining the ridiculous, it is chiefly an act of exploitation from Uberbolt because they care less about the cara on their platform.

We keep lowering the standard because we cant demand for a better fare that's in tandem with present economic realities in our country. Gradually, the era of 30k weekly remitrance is gradually fading away. Very soon, we will start debating about 25-15k weekly remittance.

You talk about withdrawing your cars from the platform or drivers as If you're doing people favour with your cars being on the platform. If the business isn't lucrative, would you have invested in it?
Whatever happens to ehailing sector that makes you eventually withdraw your cars means one source of revenue blocked for you. Take it or leave it.
If you think low fare doesn't affect you, I dare you to ask for 40-35k remittance like the good old days. Can you? That's is the aftermath of low fares on everyone.
jpworld:
[b]I will not hesitate to withdraw my vehicle from driver that cannot meet up my 27k rent. We are all in this suffering together.

Uber/Bolt are business entities, they force no one to join their platforms.

Go and protest against the government u vote into power, not channeling ur energy against corporations that has nothing to do with government.

You're with uber/bolt bc they can give u passengers, the day they are unable to give you passengers u will say goodbye to them, when they call u to come and drive 4 them, na swear u go give them.

Buy at a very good filling station, no more fast and furious driving and to avoid traffic zones for now
If you were buying at a 'good' filling station when the price was lower and still buy at the same filling station now, Do you still get same quantity of fuel?
Fuel station isn't the issue here but the rising price of fuel while the fair is still the same.
The kind of "I no want trouble" solution we proffer to situations in Nigeria is disturbing.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by peeps4u: 11:47am On Sep 03, 2020
When the monday protest was announced last week on this thread, some so called partners who claim to have 100 cars said Uberbolt dont owe any driver anything that anyone who isn't satisfied should opt out oo ehailing?

How reasonable can someone who claims to be a partner in this business be when he/she feels unconcerned about Uberbolt pricing?

If fair remains like this and fuel prices and other things keep going up, drivers will not be able to remit rhe 25/30k again. Abi we expect drivers not to have anything to himself or even balance up the weekly remittance from his pocket?

Beng1234:
