This is absolute truth. Eating out always takes it fair share from driver's earnings, some still drink. I always tried to avoid that as much as I could. AngryIgboDon: Drivers should learn from all these. Why most of you don't have money is because you lack proper management principles.
The average Uber or Bolt driver spends almost all his money on frivolities while driving. I know an Uber driver that spends almost 1,500 daily just to eat. Just to eat. 1500 times 25 workin days is 37,500. If you times it by 12 months, that is 450,000 naira. Only on eating oo.
Thats aside plantain chips, popcorn, drinks and all eatables they will still buy while driving.
What most of you don't realise is that those small small things are eating into your finances without knowing. I am giving you a secret that will make you prosper in life.
Even if its 500 daily that you spend on snacks while driving, it may seem small to you. But thats 15k alone on snacks. You will say, "shey its 500". But what you don't know is that same 500 if put together for one year is 183,000 naira.
While some drivers where watching Bayern and PSG play champions league finals, others were on the road grinding and chasing paper. Even me that just came back made 20k that sunday. You will say its a lie abi?
I know drivers that eat peppersoup everyday after working. Drivers on rental oo.
You are a driver on Uber and you are using Premium Mechanic workshops to change oil or shocks at expensive prices? How will you achieve anything in any given year? |

To add to it; same person that has derided those who still invest on cars for ehailing in this present time amd even asked who has managed to save 1million naira from ehailing biz, only to come back and tell us he has 3 cars on ehailing. Wishing him and everyone best of luck OJURONGBE1: We no even know what to believe anymore. Within the space of 1year, you were struggling to pay 350k rent, moved from driving for a partner on rental to own a car . At a point, you left Lagos and said you weren't coming back because of the stress and low earnings on e hailing. But now, you're back, not only that, you are a partner collecting 25k weekly with another 6million naira fish farm investments. |

Felicity, I love you. God knows I do. I wish you all the very best and may nature be kind to you and everyone. Felicity0001: Point of correct peep4u I was only axed on bolt not Uber . For anyone to have driven on the Uber platform and still active after 1yr with a rating of 6.78 you should know such a person is discipline, tolerant, faithful and focus.
And there is never a time I don't accept corrections from anyone here on issue relating ehailing here especially when its constructive, precise and meaningful. Mind you, I staryed by stating "I just did something wrong" on the issue with the ride I started without the rider. Pope191 and izzuo advised I apologise and do refu d which I did. Only a few understand what happened was out of frustration. The Only thing I kick against is when you attack my personality due to personal sentiment.
You conclude on a person just by reading his post on SM??!! Forgive me, but that is incredible and laughable.
On the issue of the 3MD I still remain, I don't regret it and I'll say it again and again anyone thats not comfortable with that should press charges against me but since then I've never seen any mail.
Trust me I don't have any issue with Dru23 oh believe me. From the way he collected his car Maybe he is the one that has issue with me.(na watin surprise me b dat, but like my sister would say "if squirting with sb they can wakeup one morning and kick you out" . Like he said I apologised when I had an argument with him here which was the time we first met. Boss @Dru23 if that thing is still in your heart I still apologise pls don't be offended. You attacked me that time and I attacked back without even knowing it was you so biko no vex. Believe me boss you've done no wrong to me, the decision you took is best for to you no issue, like I said earlier I learnt a few things from you, it's business and not personal.
If many of you are offended simply because my oga asked me to order for food even when I didn't ask for it that na una business. As for me i enjoyed the food. You don't expect one goes out early in the morning on empty stomach and then starve even when someone offers you lunch you reject because you want to create an impression. I'm not a hypocrite. If you plan to tempt me I can assure you I'll shock you and your temptation.
@chijioke17, thanks for your advice, will definitely look into it.
@pope191, you too you're doing well. If I don't value this thread and the members in it trust me I won't even be active here in the first place. After all this is not the only thread on NL, if you check my post you would know. One thing worthy of note is, life is a mirage dont take it too seriously
#mrmayjee, you're right my only crime is not resisting the urge to shalaye. Base on that I sthe reason I'm making this my last post on this subject matter.
Lastly, what is that rascal angryibodon saying up there? Was he address me? Guy I stopped reading any post from you since the day I discovered you're an ex militant, so what good can come out of a person like that? Anything you said up there is your personal opinion and I'll respect it. Nevertheless, I still respect you due to your great experience in the job but please try to reduce your passion about some things and stop taking .e too seriously oh...if you know know me well I swear you go like me oooh.
To everyone peace. Abeg lets rest lay this matter to rest.

Many just decided to watch the battle with dru23 since Felicity hardly accepts faults if people step in. |

If you're concerned about the bolded, 500k isnt enough because a high class wedding must have reception and 500k might not even be enough for reception expenses. Plan your wedding according to your financial capability or as you so desire, not all low weddings are due to lack of money. Good luck. Godson213: Good afternoon my amiable family people. I am planning a wedding with my fiancée my budget is 500K. Will it be enough for food and drinks. People coming from my side aren’t that much. She is yoruba and her mum says she wants a low key wedding and she understands we are young couple. But I just want my money to be able to cover for most things so it doesn’t look poor or low class.

And why should anyone be using 1500 weekly for data for this biz? I have two MTN lines and one of them must always be eligible anytime the other becomes ineligible. Presently, the two MTN lines are eligible. Dial *121*1# or *131*65# on MTN, you might be eligible for 1gb for 200 or 1.5gb for 300 per week. |

I totally agreed with Angryigboman on some of his submissions. Car wash, eating out most times and other things are some of the things that increase expenses, especially for a driver on rent.
I wish everyone well. I pray Felicity will get a lil money and get his own car because having been axed on uber platform isn't really an excuse for low remittance. Hopefully, he's learnt his lessons.

jpworld: From his narrative, u will see he is most likely lying.
According to Felicity0001:
A jeep ran into my car damaging my right headlamp and front bomber.
That means the vehicle is in front, the only way a vehicle in front will damage ur right front headlamp and bomber is by revising.
If the car is facing each other on the same road and the driver skip his lane to hit him, it would have been the left headlamp.
AngryIgboDon mentioned about how bold this Felicity0001 encourage fraudulent identity, driver's here boldly shut him up with falz song with everybody nah hypocrite.

Stay blessed. Luxurydriverng: A car of 4m can also over heat, the problem was the radiator fan relay which I fixed with 700 naira.
We are just too quick to condem other brands of cars. I am using the car and no issues intact the car is superb

This is obsessive nuisance.jpworld: My judgment:
you use money made for hospital to invest in bet9ja to catch out big. That is diversion of funds. It's actually a crime, so you're convicted for diversion of funds.
You have right to beg for 2k fuel to start driving uber.
You have right to beg for money to invest in bet9ja.
But you have no right to manipulate this forum, into sending you money for hospital treatment, then u divert it for bet9ja to make more gain.
That money sent to you is solely 4 hospital bill. |

I just admire your calmness and maturity in all of this but to clear yourself, post the hospital receipts when chanced. It is your name at stake. Couldn't have said any better ndubuis: How about you post something from the hospital you visited to invalidate his claim? You don't owe him anything, true to that. But how about people that rallied round for you? Now that an allegation has been made, can't you simply provide a proof from the hospital? No sick picture of your sick boy, no hospital receipt, no proof of payment to the hospital whatsoever. Didn't you buy drugs for your boy? What drug was recommended? Which pharmacy did you make purchase? No receipt from the pharmacy? Can we just get the fact straight here?
