Emyben:What an incredible brilliance!!!!Na wa o |
I would gladly have gone for Omoni Oboli because she is calm, cool and collected. She is not given to controversies that characterizes d trail of most celebrities. |
Did we sincerely think tambuwal had a chance in the big league?if we ever did, we needed to give it another flip.I think it would have been a political suicide if tambuwal had gone ahead but thank goodness the common sense in him told him to go strengthen his electoral value some more.HE IS A CANDIDATE FOR THE FUTURE...HE'S GOT THE AGE ADVANTAGE. |
WHETHER NIGERIA QUALIFIES FOR AFCON OR NOT KESHI MUST GO!!!!!! |
pring:Much as we may not have been satisfied with the level of performance it is also unfair to indicate that GEJ has achieved nothing. No administration will record Zero performance,d critical issue is usually the relevance of performance vis a vis certain indices that may or may not clearly pronounced depending on where the entity lies in the developnent curve. That said,in two critical issues aside road, rail and aviation infrastructure, i will attribute to GEJ's govt is d FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT;which has afforded us access to the inner details of govt spending.Though this law seeks to aid transparency in govt most states have blatantly refused to domesticate it.Not even lagos state that prides itself as d centre of excellence and if you care to know a rep from lagos state by the name Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa sponsored that bill in the National Assembly. Secondly i will give GEJ the credit for d privatisation of the power sector though beleaguered with imperfections.Just as telecomms sector was privatised amidst controversies&irregularities if you can recollect. It took sometime for us to appreciate it.In the same vein the power sector reforms will survive its teething period and give the expected value in due course. These two among other infrastructural lifts in some sectors will surely be credited to this administration even if we vote GEJ out.I just want us to be objective because we cannot afford to pander to the whims and caprices of politicians. We have d right to ask for more given the overwhelming support GEJ received from Nigerians at d elections and at the outset of his administration though within a very volatile security situation which our security architecture was not designed for.GOD SAVE NIGERIA |
ilugunboy:Good for d polity. |
Have u tried regular usage of mouth washes like listerine or oraldene but listerine is better. Also daily consumption of one or two pieces of bitter kola is also helpful. |
Its a great idea that we have both political mega parties and personalities being well represented on such a platform as this. However we cannot afford to spread unfounded claims on either sides because at the end of the day it is the average Nigerian that bears the brunt. Discourses of this sort engender informed opinions that drive choices.Lets fire on however in the sanctity of truth, its all in the interest of our dear country and not our stomach. GOD SAVE NIGERIA. |
Strength and courage are sometimes signs of deep conviction;values imbibed that cannot be negotiated even in the face of death.Honestly i did not think that was about oration, rather CONVICTION however from some lady who had words at her beck and call.May her soul rest in peace. |
1stCitizen:Why was it only southern governors and politicians that were arrested, tried and jailed?Truth is Buhari was(maybe is) to say the least sectional and this happens to be his major electoral baggage.Unfortunately he hasn't come clean on these issues.MAYBE A PUBLIC APOLOGY WILL DO SOME DAMAGE CONTROL. |
Jero1980:GOD BLESS U |
Governance in my opinion bothers on competence/performance not necessarily ones amiability or humility as in the circumstance. Of what relevance is humility if it doesn't transform into a high sense of responsibility in the best interest of pple who voted him into power.Unfortunately politicians have understood our collective psyche and will paint just any image that fits our buy-ins. Remember omisore eating corn a few days to osun state elections. Politicians will don any garb to get votes. The proof of leadership is d ability to better the lots of pple you serve(d) via inclusive&sustainable policy initiatives that were dutifully implemented in the best interest of the electorate. We cant afford to fall for cheap cuts as obi's son being a teacher, its his cup of tea,who cares but We care about the development indices he latched if any in ANAMBRA. Chikeena |
masu:U mean this info was fabricated?I will be shocked if it was and if it was true,i will also be shocked that ordinary nigerians like u and i would go any length to distort public opinion. Whatever the case might be we must be as responsible as possible with our submission on this platform,it is in the interest of our country to be objective with issues irrespective of partisanship. We owe our country a duty of sincerity of purpose.GOD SAVE NIGERIA |
I am kinda impressed with Gen Buhari's disenchantment with appearances of corruption everytime such were highlighted. But i always wandered why the Gen has not done much in terms of trying to instill such noble values in other Nigerians.Imagine if he had used his electoral value and fame to create a nationwide anti-corruption platform,i think it would have done Nigeria a world of good. |
capacity building for artisans really. If this is well implemented, then a revolution is in d offing especially with FG's automobile industry reforms.GOOD |
WOW!!Always a fan |
Honestly the keen contest brewing between the ruling party and the opposition is good for our polity. Now no single party is overly sure of victory in the forthcoming elections. LETS GO THERE. |
If we will ever make the most of 2015 elections,it is imperative to be as objective as possible because at the day it is we the electorates that will bear the brunt of the wrong choice,it is our CALL. |
Unfortunately religion is being taunted to play a major role in our polity. It bothers on propaganda.I do not think poverty has a religion neither does unemployment and other socio-economic vices. The fashola choice as VP candidate would have been a good idea if the politics of religion wasnt at work. We have never had electioneering wt more religious coloration than 2015. The build up has been on much before now. However,i think fashola deserves a more intelligent boss, trust me. |
I think its a reflection of the extent of our social plunge to the extent that we really cant tell what is news worthy from what is not.The same way our music is high on rhythm and melody but low on lyrics. If its not money,it must be yansh, boobs etc |
atbu1983:Good as buhari's reputation might seem on d anti-corruption platform, my challenge is his capacity to inspire nigerians to build a new nation. There is no one man that can fix nigeria. Our problem is systemic so we need a systematic approach to our corruption issues. If you care the judiciary as presently constituted will not be able deal wt corruption issues owing to d retinue of pending cases and the structural framework of the legal system.U also need legislative co-operation to deal wt d issues appropriately. A man perceived to be a hardliner might be rendered handicapped in a democracy wt what i will refer to as legislative bottlenecks.Moreso buhari is too sectional for Nigeria. In 1983 when he took over d reins of power, ekwueme the then vice president was incarcerated while shagari the then president was treated to house arrest with all presidential luxuries aside freedom. My present neighbor lived next to d house he was kept in ikoyi, she was much younger then.Several southern governors were jailed and just one or two northern govs. Buhari is too sectional for presidency in my opinion.I would have preferred a liberal but disciplined and intelligent northerner. |
one thing is synonymous wt all those that spin megabucks, its d fun component. If we can incorporate some entertainment and fun into education stuffs,i think brands will take a dive but if its boring, there will be no viewing and when viewing is scanty, brands dont sponsor. Its called marketing, not charity. |
Peradventure it is true (because it also looks like a prank)if you cant handle it,DONT YOU DARE because she cant stop as easily as she thinks. The moment she tries to stop, her flings will resist subtly or strongly, either way she will cower to them and you will hurt d more.Assuming it were true, she obviously has issues and i think her issues bother on,Bad Parenting,Low Self worth and Moral bankruptcy. These three issues can best be handled by a psychologist. Here is d phone details of a psychologist i know can help 08037194335.His name is Jerome. He will handle her case wt utmost confidentiality&professionalism |
kadas01:He definitely does know BH/its leadership hierachy and very much so.I also think that is supposed to be an asset but i kinda doubt Shehu Sani's patriotism;i really cant tell for sure whose side he is,Nigeria's or Boko Haram's. His support SEEMS to be for the latter.GOD SAVE NIGERIA |
I give it primarily to God,secondarily to the couple and tertiarily to the pple who stood by them while they waited. The wait was worth it and i pray that as many as are also hopeful of child bearing will someday soon have cause to thank God.CONGRATS TY. |
I feel you bro,at different times pple have had cause to question the reality of God owing to their circumstances and it isnt unusual.God may not necessarily be angry with you largely because He is a merciful, you simply vented your doubts given your understanding of issues. However,i would want you to pause and backtrack a little concerning your life,do an appraisal because if we cant take responsibility for our failures,we will never be able to navigate the path to success. Can you sincerely say that you have taken the right decisions for your life since you grew up to take your own decisions?Couldnt your situation be as a result of a decision you took or refused to take in the past? Can you categorically say that you have discovered where your passion, talent or purpose in life lies?Trust me,everybody is the maker of his/her fortune or otherwise,God simply blesses our effort to the extent of its consistency with our personality& potentials. I will suggest you do a personal evaluation of yourself with an objective mindset just maybe you created the status quo. That said,i want to tell u that quitting is not an option for winners like u. There is a future ahead of you if you can confront ur challenges.Engage urself on a journey of personal discovery and see if d world will not bow at ur feet. However i also suggest u say a sincere prayer that God should reveal Himself to you if He were truly real.CHEERS |

Usually birthdays are opportunities to REFLECT and PROJECT.Birthday Peeps,i suggest u celebrate the hope of better days lying ahead instead of d passage of time and so do with a measure of mental alertness because its getting more challenging by the day. Global statistics say so. It aint time for frivolities peeps,it's high time we engaged to create the change that our nation crave. Many happy returns of this day.LL'N'P. GOD SAVE NIGERIA |
