[quote author=davodyguy post=43124772]Thank you very much US government for speaking the truth.

On this thread, www.nairaland.com/2946623/tompolo-boys-defy-buhari-vows#43108378

Many Nairalanders that doesn't really know the difference between left and right have been comparing militancy with insurgency/Terrorism.

I've told them 1000 Tompolo would be very easy to defeat than terrorists.

USA, Britain, France, Russia, Spain, Germany have all been hit directly or through proxy by terrorists and till date, they've all been unable to completely kill Taliban, Alqaeda, Isis and alshabab etc.

Thinking it would now be easy for Nigeria to defeat Boko Haram, must be a fake dream.

The difference is that, terrorists don't really have anything to lose, neither do they really have lives. They're just fighting for no particular courses and they're ready to die, without fearing the consequences.

The ND militants on the other hand are more of lazy criminals and opportunists who only care about what to eat

EducationFinally Waec Responded To Muslims Complain by PENCILLER(op): 10:58am On Sep 18, 2015
WAEC ADJUST EXAM TIMETABLE FOR FRIDAY PRAYER
The West African Examination
Council (WAEC) has adjusted the
timetable of the ongoing
September/October 2015 West
African Senior School Certificate
Examination for private candidates in response to request
by Muslim candidates. Head of Nigeria National Office of
WAEC, Mr Charles Eguridu,
announced the change on
Thursday in Abuja during a
media parley with members of
Education Correspondents Association of Nigeria (ECAN). He disclosed that WAEC has
rescheduled the examination
that was supposed to take place
on September 25 to October 10
because of Sallah festivities. According to the new timetable,
the Government 2 (Essay) and
Government 1 (Objective) that
were scheduled for 2pm and 4pm
respectively on Friday 18, would
now hold by 2:30pm-5:30pm for the papers 2 and 1 on the same
date. The Mathematics (2 & 1) earlier
scheduled for Friday, 25th
September has been postponed
till Saturday October 10, with
Paper 2 holding from 9:30am to
12noon and paper 1 from 3pm to 4:30pm. He said the examination body is
concerned about the yearnings
of the people. In his words: “Our muslim
brothers expressed concern
about the WAEC timetable of the
ongoing examination. Some
papers were scheduled between
2:00pm and 4:00pm, and some just before the end of jumat
prayers. “Our attention has been drawn to
this concern and only this
afternoon the Chairman of WAEC
Board in Nigeria, called my
attention and we have decided
to effect some amendment on the ongoing examination to
address the concerns of our
muslim brothers.” The Chairman of WAEC Board who
is also the Director of Basic and
Secondary Education in the
Federal Ministry of Education, Mrs
Ann Okonkwo, called on
Nigerians to support WAEC in its efforts to meet the growing
demands. She pledged the support of the
federal government to ensure
that problem of examination
malpractices that continue to
pose a problem in the country is
reduced to the barest minimum.  Share  Tweet  Share 312 0 0

[quote author=akanke79 post=38084189]6 Nigerians among crane crash victims
JEDDAH: Six Nigerian pilgrims were among the 111 victims of Friday’s crane crash at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
“We lost six pilgrims — two males and four females,” Uba Mana, a spokesman for the National Haj Commission of Nigeria, told AFP on Monday. “We can’t say this is the final death toll because the situation is still unfolding. We are still visiting the hospitals and mortuaries in search of more casualties from Nigeria,” he said.
Mana said some 58,000 Nigerians were already in the Kingdom for the Haj out of 76,000 expected for this year’s pilgrimage.
“The rest will be airlifted in the coming days,” he said.
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday sent “his heartfelt condolences to the families, relations and friends of the Nigerian victims of the crane accident.”
Buhari urged “Nigerians to join him in praying for the quick and full recovery” of the injured.
Meanwhile, according to Thai newspapers, two Thai nationals who could not be located after the crash were found at separate hospitals.
The Thai Haj Affairs Office announced that Tuanya-imah Na-nakhon had suffered leg injuries and Phisa Duangdol was injured in the neck, shoulder and back. Thai Culture Minister Vira Rojpojchanarat offered condolences to the family of Wanida Sadi, 48, the Bangkok resident who died in the tragedy.
Vira said the four Thais injured in the accident were recovering and Kritsayapong Siri, chief of the Religious Affairs Department, was coordinating with agencies to aid them.

PoliticsRe: Open Letter To President Jonathan By Army Officers by PENCILLER(m): 9:48am On Jan 31, 2015
Despite all this Is President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Really Bad? He has done well. I challenge the Buhari supporters give me 10 things Buhari has achieved for this country.
1] Goodluck Jonathan signed FOI bill that
Obasanjo
refused to sign and you join then in saying that
Goodluck is bad.
2] Goodluck approved N18,000 Minimum wage
from N7,500 Which Obasanjo refused to sign and
you say that Goodluck is bad and NYSC
allowance
from N7,500 to nearly approved N39,500, yet they
say he is bad.
3] Goodluck dualized federal roads (about
25,000km) which Obasanjo and past Govts
abandoned and you say Goodluck is bad.
4] The rail system is working now, with little
budget But Obasanjo Sunk billions of dollars
without result, other pasts leader ignored and you
say that Goodluck is bad.
5] Goodluck has been conducting free and fair
elections whereas the ones conducted under
Obasanjo are Shameful and national disgrace yet
you say Goodluck is bad.
6] Goodluck established 12 new universities, 9 in
the North to improve learning and knowledge and
increase the Jambites admission rate, yet you say
that Goodluck is bad.
7] Goodluck established the Almajiri system for
Northern abandoned street children and those
deprived of education by their own people and
you
say Goodluck is bad.
8] Goodluck has been building dams and
improving
the country's power from 2500mW to 6,000MW -
And successfully privatized the sector which
many
analyst believed is the best way to go and you
joined them say that Goodluck is bad.
9] Agriculture have been revamped and for the
first
time in Nigerian history, Food prices came down
during Christmas, instead of skyrocketing and you
say that he is a bad President.
10] 2013 and 2014 was the Christmas in Nigeria,
where Nigerian did not sleep in filling stations for
3
to 4 days to get Petrol or 100s of people being
roasted alive in attempts to get fuel in petrol
stations, wickedly, you joined them to say that
our
God given President is not performing.
11] Airports are wearing world class looks and
every zone have International airport and you say
Goodluck is bad.
12] This administration has employed more
people
in their 5years in office than any other in the
history of Nigeria [Via Agric, Energy sector,16
New
Car Companies, 12 New Universities, 3,826
primary
Health care Centers, Teaching Hospitals] SURE-P,
YOUWIN and you say Goodluck is bad.
Now do you think that General Muhammadu
Buhari
will perform magic, which he could not do when
he
was in his 40s, if you vote him?
What else do they want from President Goodluck
Ebele Jonathan?
APC is a party of propaganda so we all know where these demeaning reports are coming from. It all about 2015 and the fact remains that no matter their propaganda and mudslinging, BUHARI WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT... NOT NOW, NOT EVER.... U said he conductd free&fair election, where&when
u also fail 2 mention ELectricity, unemplyment of our youth, FUEL SUDSIDY, wht about d missng billion dollars, Insecurity whre our soldiers run frm battlng field throwing their weapons entering neighb countries. Shey U 4get ol dx achievmnts abi
