is it a compulsory? angry
I wonder! This is NL question of the decade. Why? Esp when you consider the fact that girls sometimes enjoy these encounters more than men.

It's comments like these that I find over the top, slating others just to prove a point is unnecessary
Well, I didnt open the thread. I only made a contribution.

Inevitably when you make comparisms on this platform (group or ethnic beauty)  there will be winners and there will be losers like in most things. Dont forget that we are only making relative comparisms here where time and place are of essence.

If you take the not so pretty ones to South Africa, automatically they become queens.

Romance › Re: Are Igbo Girls The Most Beautiful Girls In Nigeria? by Pennywise(m): 1:15pm On Oct 17, 2010
I agree. But the point is there are places you need not look if you desire a beautiful wife because it will require the grace of God to find one.

Whereas in order places the locals are so beautiful that you can conveniently discount good looks as a criterion for choosing a partner

pretty girls, not so pretty girls everywhere, don't be so ignorant.
So it seems. A cab took me round a major town one afternoon (I was there for biz) I saw dozens of young women. Not even one u could describe as averagely good-looking. Yet in other towns every other girl you see is a princess. This has to be more than coincidence
Politics › Re: Just Read The Criminality Going On In Niger-delta by Pennywise(m): 6:10pm On Oct 16, 2010
This exposee when critically evaluated has dubious or at the most limited value to the writer who many watching events in the ND is larger than life-at least before the above.

On the other hand it is fatal to the perception of mend as a coherent force in the armed struggle for justice in the ND. It also indirectly tells the story of armed insurrection in southern Nigeria from independence.

That of pride, greed, selfishness, treachery, disunity and disorganization. Ultimately it paints the picture of young men running around with AK47s determined to make as much for themselves as possible.

To any casual observer, no real change in status quo can be achieved through an armed insurrection in the ND any time soon. If you bet against this, it will be at your peril.
Politics › Re: Down Memory Lane With Okah's Former No 1 Fan by Pennywise(m): 5:39pm On Oct 16, 2010
It is wrong to use a lone incident to adjudge someone. Anyone. That is why these days even in elementry schools you have continous assessment constituting a %age of assesed final score.

Renowned generals in history have been known to make mistake and innocent people die as a result. Okah's case should be seen as one of such. Mend has tendered apology. And the state is seeking penance which is understandable. Henry Orkah being the face of mend, it goes without saying that there will be bitterness and recriminations even among his avowed supporters.

What happened should be seen for what it was. An error in judgement and a miscalculation. It is not consistent with the actions of a man who has several times put his life on the line for the emancipation of a people that have been subjugated for so long.
Politics › Re: Okah Repeats Allegations Against Nigerian President-bloomberg News by Pennywise(m): 5:08pm On Oct 16, 2010
I dont get it. How does this assertion and its constant repetition exonerate him of these weighty charges? I dont see how. The proclaimed objective of Henry Okah and MEND requires a lot of gut and brawn. It also needs common sense. Okah should talk more to his lawyers than the media.

Otherwise he is going to be found dead in a Nigerian cell, early one morning.
Romance › Re: Would You Allow Your Child To Marry The Child Of The Lover Who Jilted You by Pennywise(m): 12:27pm On Oct 14, 2010
Sometimes you do things not because you want to, but because it will be wrong not to. If I were the father I will approve of marriage, but he should not expect me in his house when the mother-in-law is visiting. Secondly, daughter in-law must not betray any trace of her mother's attitude in my son's house.

Amhatu:
This is very Goodnews. To the forum poster on deregulation of oil, I totally disagree. Nigeria needs to keep the current oil policy it has in place.

The revenues when stable have to be used to diversify the economy away from all Oil, not deregulation.

While Oil may have helped we certainly can not depend on it all the time for the entire economic engine of Nigeria. The time has come to embrace cleaner and better technologies that are already available while still keeping oil at sustainable production levels.
The Delta State Governor,Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan,  has mentioned diversifing the delta State economy away from all Oil and he is certainly on the right road.

All Delta State people certainly should elect Governor, Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan again to see most of his projects through.
cool
Uduaghan boy! What are you driving. Prado? Great move. But wrong forum shaa.
Education › Re: ABC Of Common Errors And Mistakes In English by Pennywise(m): 1:41pm On Oct 11, 2010
@OP
My own contribution is from an English lecture I had a long time ago (GS001) about not ending a sentence with a proposition or something of the sort- like 'where are you at'?

Unfortunately, the lecturer was young, sexy and too fine. I was distracted from begining  to the end. Can you throw more light on this pls

Orikinla:
I agree. But their wives should not disgrace these hardworking guys.
The affected guys are no longer walking tall.
A lot of these guys who get these jobs have keen competitive spirit which is a good thing to have. To them life is about goals, promotion and accomplishment  as a result they 4get that their spouse have needs.

However there is a small %age of WAGs who truly cant seem to get enough. These ones I find really intriguing.

Orikinla, these guys cant have it both ways. They either go to work and earn those fat pay checks or they can stay at home and guard pu/ssy. Same goes with shell, chevron, mobil workers.
Business › Re: Former MD Of Oceanic Bank, Cecilia Ibru, Convicted Of Bank Fraud by Pennywise(m): 6:29pm On Oct 08, 2010
N150bn naira approximates to $1bn. I imagine these are some of the assets that were acquired illegally (until a superior court says otherwise) when Oceanic bank came into existence not long ago.

The icon of this family has been in stupendous wealth since the 50s. His net worth must be in billions of dollars, yet he doesnt get a mention/recognition by known international media like other billionaires freq do.

This raises the question of how much money does a human being need to be satisfied (and secured).
