alot of girls these days hav grown to accept the fact that men get aroused by other women too and r learning to feel secure that their men wont cheat if he is satisfied with his relationship. personally i enjoy checking out other girls with my boyfriend. he'll do it anyways so why not join him and share d fun. . .
Without sounding patronizing, that is the attitude of a gurl who knows she's got all it takes. But I hope you feel the same way when married with 2 kids. cheesy And u begin to battle the bulge

Not sure how long this topic has been running but someone should advise the admin to kindly tweek the title before CNN sees it and decides to do a documentary on the mindset of Nigerians in which case it will be another 6 mths of hardship for our peeps in diaspora.

Bolarge:
Come, what's this preoccupation with this Ocean Blue stripclub?
Seems there's an agent of theirs on Nairaland tryin to generate some publicity for it.
Even the Politics section is not spared. undecided
That might be the sole reason for this thread. B/c it is very unnatural for a girl to concur to an invitation to watch her dude glare at another babe-whether on stage or not. The average girl would want to be her man's only means of sexual arousal (if possible). A more convincing (less apparent) topic should have been chosen. smiley

nna come see debate o! cheesy
It is not a debate. Yet.If its a debate, Lipuka will in his next post attempt to define "real romance", "technology" and death. Then we will have a debate grin grin

Meanwhile thank God for technology. The romance index among our peeps is at an all time high. I can hear all the players in the house yell-Oh yeah!!!!
Romance › Re: Technology A Death To Real Romance by Pennywise(m): 9:17am On Nov 21, 2008
That is one way to look at it. But I would say technology has done much more for romance than most can imagine.

1. Technology guarrantees privacy of communication. No romance can hope to thrive in the absence of privacy. Illustration:At 16, there was a girl I had a crush on.It was soo deep I could have ended up marrying her. I wrote a letter to her asking her out. The dutiful courier didnt see her but gave the letter to her mother. The illiterate mother not caring what was written came to my home to give me a very public disgrace. A Prospective/productive romance was dead b/4 it had time to start.

2.Thank God for sms and allied tech modes. You can express your love a thousand times a day in a million different ways.

3. Technology offers a far wider range of choices and opportunities for romance. Internet dating, romance and marriages across continents is no longer news.

Infact you cant even begin to imagine. Technology directly or indirectly will help to initiate, facilitate, enhance and even help you to recover from romance when its gone sour.
Romance › Re: Is Maintaining Her Viginity A Crime? by Pennywise(m): 5:28pm On Nov 20, 2008
In addition to whatever useful contribution your friend is going to get here, I advice that she keeps the fact of her virginity secret.I recall a case while on campus about a girl whose virginity was known all over campus. Anyway, she got raped by some who couldnt take their minds off her. That too was public knowledge.Sad.
Romance › Re: Pick-up lines. And Break-up Lines. by Pennywise(m): 12:19pm On Nov 20, 2008
@Topic

Fine girl, how now? Simple but it works. If she gree your own, then you generally flow. But sometimes you have the occasional one who pretend they never heard pidgin in their life. They will reply in queens english (usually accented).Even that to you is familiar territory. You flow. Now the bad one that every player (esp amateur) should avoid is the one that says absolutely nothing at all- like u talkin to a tree.Because you don't know what she has in mind. I have heard of a guy on whom a girl raised alarm. Ole, Ole, Ole . . . . .Before you know it area peeps had worn him vigilante necklace (tyre). grin

Break up line? Absolutely no need. Say nothing. B/c you might need her later. If there is anything that is better off not said, this is it.

Penny,
If i say i understand jack out of what u wrote i wil be lying. Lol
You don't need to. Just know peeps can dump all kinds of stuff in ur pc through YM.Intercept ur mail or just plain make ur life miserable. No need going further.Paranoia?Maybe.But you need a bit of it each time you log on.The way I see it, its actually a lot easier than most people think. If the bone-head (apology) who sent me that mail can do it then anybody can. Create sometime to look at this flip side of internet social networking. And you wont be bored.  grin

Meanwhile please carry on with your good work as nairaland's first celebrity anchorwoman cheesy
I thought I was the only one that had observed. I have opened an earlier thread on this trend: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-192224.0.html I initially thought I was just overcoming my addiction, but I later realized that the steam has generally fallen below par.

I can't imagine myself spending less than one hour on NL in a day, but it's happening now. Here was a site I spent at least 6 hours on before. But now nothing interesting to make me stay long. Boring topics, boring posts.
I observe that a lot depends on character and personality of posters. Not even the thread topic.I do stay for weeks at a time without making posts and then sometimes I find myself glued making several posts a day.

Dear T-girl. This is not ancient history. This matter is like 72hrs old. I downloaded YM for the first time a wk ago (after >4yrs).I took interest on an item in the biz section of London Craiglist. The advert was in impeccable queens english like you would expect.Someone intercepted my mail. Here is a copy of what I got in return so you don't think p'wise is alarmist.

Online dating makes more sense. No point raking up phone bills over food you fit not chop. But beware peeps can dump viruses and all kinds of things on you (the kind condom cant help with) before you even lay a finger on her.

u are free to post ur rant  tongue
I think what you are having is NL tolerance syndrome pretty similar to drug tolerance. You are getting less and less stimulation from same doses of this addictive agent called nairaland. Sorry but I think you are on your way out. You will be missed though.
