In this era of declaration, I Bugatie and my household do solemnly pledge to vote and mobilise every votable adult around me to cast a winning vote for our amiable and humble president Dr Goodluck Ebere Azikiwe Jonathan in the upcoming 2015 election.

I have no doubt GEJ will win and that the
general will weep again in 2015!
No use wasting your vote. GEJ is out. He will try to rigg election as usual. If you live in the North or the west you should be more concerned about surviving post election violence. I hope the military will have the good sense to stay out of our civil life.

This is excessive display of power, when some cases are still pending in court. Ekiti people should expect a ruthless governance from an uncultured 'street' governor. Exile beckons on some indigenes.
It's only a matter of time before he is impeached again. And this time, it will be for good.

Defeated dying Boko Haram first announced UNILATERAL ceasefire before Nigeria later accepted their offer

218 Chibok girls to be released soon, world record !

http://www.punchng.com/news/bharam-ceasefire-sect-to-release-218-chibok-girls-on-monday/

This is how it all started....

"Soldiers had also killed a man who featured in Boko Haram's propaganda videos pretending to be the group's leader Abubakar Shekau, it added.

Last year, the military said that Shekau may have been killed, without providing any proof.

Boko Haram has suffered heavy losses in recent weeks in battles in its stronghold of north-eastern Nigeria.

The military said that 135 Boko Haram members surrendered with their weapons in Biu, Borno state, on Tuesday - and that 133 others surrendered elsewhere in north-eastern Nigeria."

I won't be surprised if ur field Marshall paid Boko haram to get those girls released in time for the election.

This shameless PDP propaganda should also include the fact that it will be the first time since the civil war Nigerian army will loose territory to insurgents of any description.. Large areas of Borno and Adamawa remain a no go area to the Nigerian army and are effectively part of Boko Hiram country.

back to topic.

some issues faced by the 40 something crowd include:

-divorce, coping with or handling the aftermath of.

- finances/career: are you where you want to be right now or not. Debt, income, expenses, etc.

- networking: some females especially tend to slow down in this area due to general life pressures

-for the men, midlife crisis could start early. I dont know if women have midlife crisis.

-health: some have active lifestyles (gym, exercise, healthy eating, etc), others dont. Some may be coping with illness, others are at optimal health

- shifts in roles as parents age,

-for many, they are starting relationships like marriage, child bearing, etc.

etc etc
This is neither realistic nor possible. Each of those subject matter first need to be broken into topics and then thread. You probably have 2dozen threads in there. Some of which must go to sexuality to excite the usual customers so they can leave u alone unless if u enjoy cooger sniffing and hanging around ur poo.

No ambiguity here. Not all women come with vagaina. Some like you come with small dyck thinking they can do what we do.

and why did you edit your post?

the initial one was more normal and better than what you just typed.
Normal posts for normal people. Some of us are still not used to cell fone posts. You want to add sth to an earlier post all of a sudden everything disappears. Why bother? Am I getting paid doing it? I just wait till I get to my command and control center when I can have the world at my finger tips.

This is so unlike tpia. Cautious, civil, almost respectful. This dyck killer is almost giving me an eerection. I am tempted to open a thread proclaiming 'the taming of tipia'. But if I did that she will just go back to her old ways.

Or she is doing her best to keep this thread going cheesy. But I dont see this discourse doing three pages by the way. She will trip and I will have no choice but to incinerate her thread. Things have become fairly predictable btw us. I pity the moderator who will have the task of looking post by post and deciding what to delete and what to leave. If its any reassurance, I am here today with my church mind.

I can understand your frustration dear tpia. But 40s is when peeps consider taking chieftancy titles and really begin to question the rationale behind monogamy. Do u think NL is the right place for such discussions? I think not. I would rather talk about how many rounds I can go with tpia.

And no I have no interest in NL sourcing, whatsoever. Thanks for recommending.

the thread is for anyone between the age of 40 and 49 to discuss issues pertaining to them.
nothing wrong with that, just curious, thats all.
are you implying romance section is mostly populated by 40s and above? huh
that cant be possible- romance section is majorly preteens.
Stop pretending to be naive. Teens indeed. Some of these characters have even registered their presence here. Some have bachelor's and have been job hunting for 15yrs, now do the math.

reread my previous post.
But u have not given any real queue about what u want to have on your thread besides wanting to know who may have been Nigeria' first post civil war baby.

If u rephrase properly and give a tangible example, you might be able to get the attention of two thirds of all in romance section and all in politics. Don't expect any from religion.

While you are at it, you may want to tweak the thread title because the big 4-0 scares the hell out of most people even those in their 40s

RockMaxi:

Not surprised you posted the topic and why won't you believe it. angry
Less we equally progress in error, suddenly the Military now decides to monitor just to justify the case of court martialing or what. huh
When the General sacrificed gallant officers to bokoharam then which actually was the beginning of this mutiny they weren't monitoring then or what?
I am not in support of saboteurs and I think they should be dealt with once identified. angry
Coming up with this story to justify court martialing tells me that their is something wrong internally at the top.
Who should be court martialed, the officers that lowered morale by denying the boys adequate compensation or the one that refuses to send adequate back up to those facing the battle headlong? huh huh

Likewise I will continue to support the military to ending this bokoharam menace but I reserve my choice to believing this story.

No Nigerian who truly love this country will seek to justify the new low our army has descended. Acts of cowardice and mutiny are daily front page news. They even disgraced Nigeria in Mali when they were singled out by the Malian army chief for indiscipline and cowardice.

500 soldiers ran away abandoning heavy weapons to seek protection from Cameroonian army. 800 soldiers deserting the fight for Bama. Countless mutinees. Soldiers refusing to deploy or confront the enemy.

And then this.Practically all the heavy weaponry, APCs and tanks used by BH today were abandoned by cowardly Nigerian soldiers and officers.

Look at the adversary. Teenagers and child soldiers without training, without body armor, without boots or helmet. In the instant case, the six Hilux trucks were most likely commandeered or abandoned by fleeing nigerian soldiers. They should have disappeared without setting our equipment on fire so that brave soldiers like the heroes in Konduga could retrieve them. For any soldier who has chosen cowardice over service, no amount of equipment will be enough.

The Nigerian army still have brave soldiers prepared to fight. But first these cowards and saboteurs have to be separated and either discharged, jailed or shot if deserving. Nothing else will save Nigeria. Besides it is grave injustice to those who have lost lives and limbs should they be spared.
