ProfCorruption: I sincerely hope other states won't be importing Ebola just to claim some money. This Health Minister has a past for anyone who care to look. Its a pity Nigerians have such a poor memory and they have given up on leadership otherwise someone who was sacked from the headship of a teaching hospital for dubious financial conduct shouldnt be a Minister a few short years later. 2billion naira was handed over to the Fed Min of Health. It had to take a press statement for Lagos state to get 200 million naira out of that sum presumably to keep them shut. In which govt except that of President Jonathan can this and other brazen act of corruption be tolerated even encouraged? Yet people wonder why our troops wont risk their lives to fight Boko Haram. If that sum is not utilized at the end of the budgetary year, it should be returned back to the Federation account. |
@op, chances are that the girl you will marry slept with someone for N100 Come to think of it, does it really matter if she did it for N200, N50,000, a favorable NYSC posting, a promotion or merely to keep a relationship like her friends? Some even give sympathy fvck to guys fixated on sex like op? Are you going to dwell on it or you are going to move on and have a great life? |
I have an IQ of 400 yet I am not recognized. Talk about prophets and honor in their own country. |
The Egypt air official who tore up his passport may have been trying to destroy evidence. Has this become standard procedure with that airline when they think a case may be brought against them? It will be silly for this family not to exploit what promises to be a winnable case with potentially huge payoff. In other countries lawyers will be knocking on their door day and night rather than the over-threaded charge and bail path our lawyers choose to take. |
U dont have to worry about anyone coming to steal your produce in a country of wisemen. Good business strategy. But where exactly is market for this kind of business in Nigeria? |
Mintayo: I have been molested before. I went to her house, she gave me garri to eat without sugar or kulikuli! To me,thats mokestation! No. Thats not molestation. That's feeding a hungry mouse. |

A despotic leader is a dangerous leader. An ineffective leader is a more dangerous leader. But a clueless leader is the most dangerous of them all. We are witnessing the first steps of the complete unravelling of the Nigerian state and all our senators and reps are interested in is sharing money. What a shame. |
I wonder who this Gombs character is who has brought his pastor Chris on NL to be ridiculed this way. Shouldnt you have just shut your mouth and avoided this avalanche of innuendos and aspersions? You didnt think things would go in this direction did you? 22 pages and counting. Your idol has been accused of adultery. This is a hint of how messy things could go should he attempt to defend it either in court or in public. It seems to me Pst Anita truly wants her dignity and freedom without bringing the man down as most aggrieved woman would in a typical divorce case. For that reason, she should be respected and not disparaged. |
This Kwakwanso may not even be a Nigerian afterall. Where are investigative journalists when you need them? |
Nonsense. The story is as improbable as it is incredulous. This is obviously a case of a Federal Marshal not comfortable with Nigerian beat. He should be investigated. He has conjured a story without having any idea or taking into account the mindset of Nigerians or the security in the International wing of our airport. The plot is infantile and makes no sense. Airport CCTV footage will readily expose him. |
Op must be less than 20yrs old. If she is 28 and unmarried, she wont think twice abt jumping in with a 44yr old man |
When Phd is not worth a million dollars what makes you think anyone will offer u 50 whole million dollars for your Bachelors? To do what if I may ask? Juju? |
Whaoo is all I can say.And she is a hell of a beauty. |
ochejoseph: Its Nice to see him in NigeriaAll these bc an American came to your country to make a few bucks? It seems u guys will be queuing in their embassy for a long time to come. |
Stephen Davis is a certified nut-case. He should not be taken seriously. Either that or he is being used for GEJ 2015. |
I remember what Alao Akala angrily told a journalist asking him a rather embarrassing question. He said (barely holding himself from slapping journalist) 'did you know me when I was black?' |
SeaGold: Nigeria have over 900+ local government and thousands of towns, villages, hamlets and how do you expect a president to know them all?We expect a commander in Chief to know when a whole town falls under rebel control with dozens of soldiers killed. Or does he think Gwoza is in Cameroon? |
See una president. Una don dieee!! |
davidif: Isn't that extremely shallow? Thanks. But I have no wish to be esoteric. Now feck off. |
The bride shouldnt really expect much if she is marrying a scrooge. |
PastorKun: I don't think they are cowards, a more plausible explanation is that they ran out of ammunition and it would have been senseless to continue fighting thus they fled to fight another. Unfortunately the military leadership was too ashamed to admit they ran out of ammo thus they resorted to the 'tactical manouvre' lie.Thank you for the 'feel-good' explanation because it is almost inconceivable to think otherwise. But the bitter truth is that there were tons of ammunition, artillery pieces, APCs, armored fighting vehicles etc left behind by these cowards. A video was shot by BH (its on sahara reporters) showing them running away from battle while BH teenage soldiers helped themselves to huge caches of weapons and ammunition the way hyenas would feast on a carcass. If this is not sabotage of a war effort, I dont know what it is. The Govt should allow private ownership of automatic weapons. The country is collapsing. Nigerian soldiers cannot defend themselves let alone the country. It is better to die fighting the enemy than to be mauled by barbaric savages. |
The man has two issues. 1. The Winners' church is said to have flouted the country's charity laws. This law monitors how offerings and tithes are utilized. Mind you the bulk of these come from 'state offerings' to people otherwise called welfare benefits. Considering the Queen is the biggest obtainer of them all, our jet setting pastor is against an uphill task (but I am sure it is nothing God cannot handle). 2. Winner's Schools- A body determined to maintain Uk secularity has said there is no place in the UK for Oyedepo's schools because he is a witch catcher. But considering witch catching is not in the curriculum, I think this body stands a very little chance. The least we can do on NL is to join our countryman in prayer. |
PastorKun: Our 480 soldiers returning after fleeing to cameroon.www.nairaland.com/attachments/1660387_naija_jpeg_jpeg01f7fdd99bec49006680df6a183e2f4a The battalion of cowards. |
This person doesnt seem to be a serious individual. He is lucky not to have been kidnapped by BH while doing his negotiation. |
I can understand Oil and gas with doctors. But bankers too? Arent they supposed to be working? Damn. She works in a bank. |
All these Pakistanis sef. They are not any better than Nigerians. 319 freak show. |
You start looking at them 'one kind'. |
Trust the British to call a spade a spade. They dont want any Nigerian big man flying into London with his private Jet and zooming off with their welfare cash in the name of tithes and offering. |
