It was a loveless marriage. Anita was shortchanged. No way she would have accepted it, all the fame, cash and glory not withstanding. Pastor Chris could have treated her better. Thereafter Pst Chris can go on to marry a lady he truly loves. And if he has to send her away, it wont be anywhere near London.

It doesnt look like the guy ever loved his wife. He got her dumped in London for decades while he frolicks in Lagos. Why marry her if you dont truly love her? Was he compelled?

I would say Chris Oyakhilome has been very unfair to this lady. She has needs like any other. He can be in Lagos having his choice of babes which can always be dismissed as one of those things (afterall a pastor is a human being).

But a lady pastor can not do that without enormous personal guilt and shame. He has deprived the poor woman of true happiness through neglect. Its unfair. I hope she gets to find true happiness in future which might mean having to leave the ministry. That would amount to a huge sacrifice but money is not everything. Peace and happiness is. Its a pity she has had to sacrifice much of her youth without getting any.

I guess the minister made this pronouncement because he feels the current outbreak of ebola has been effectively contained, but while that maybe true, we should begin now to prepare for the next outbreak of ebola, other hemorrhagic diseases or any other highly infectious and deadly disease. We should be proactive for once.

This is a pure narrative of cowardice, indiscipline and corruption. If the COAS does not resign over this, he should be sacked. How many more people have to die for Jonathan to wake up and do the right thing? We are on a slippery slope. If the burden of leadership is too much for Jonathan let him resign honorably.
