Family › Re: I Don't Care Neighbours by percytargy: 9:41pm On Apr 09, 2024 |
Mumben: I saw a post on Facebook days back talking about experiences of people living in some neighborhood especially some estates in Abuja and everybody's I don't care attitude towards their neighbor and I thought to bring the topic here for your contributions.
A particular guys experience made me feel bad. He said he escorted his girlfriend who had come to visit him to the bus stop to board a taxi home. On getting to his compound gate, he knocked and knocked but no one came to open the gate even though he could see them through the small opening on the gate. Unfortunately for him, his phone was in his apartment and his girlfriend's family were calling him to inform him that the girl had an accident on her way home.
Las Las, he had to pass the night at a friend's place with only boxers and singlet he was putting on. On getting to his house Early the next morning, he saw a lot of mixed calls from the girls family, he called back and tried to explain but they didn't want to hear. He packed out of the compound one week later as he couldn't come to terms with the fact that his neighbours could be so mean.
Personally, I can't relate because some years ago in our former compound, I was in labour and my husband was not around, he called our landlord and he drove me in his car to the hospital. May God continue to bless him, he is such a good man
Share your experiences with I Don't Care kind of neighbours As for me, it was so bad to realize late, Abuja neighbors are so worst to me, I don't want to narrate what I went through being the mr nice guy. I have learnt my lesson, now I no dey open gate ooo even if you knock with iron and I dey close to the gate, just call the person you come find to open gate for you. |

We have talented young vibrant men and women in tech world from Nigeria, to succeed in this business, there must be an enabling environment. Here in Nigeria, our leadership is the problem. Kudos to those who make us proud out there. If you have skills in the tech.world pls prepare to go out of this country and be successful. forenzy: Tope Awotona is the founder and CEO of scheduling software company Calendly. Awotona, a former salesman for tech firms including EMC (now Dell EMC), founded Calendly out of his own frustration with the back-and-forth emails required to schedule meetings.
He bootstrapped Calendly for years before taking on a $350 million investment in 2021 that valued the firm at $3 billion.
Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Awotona immigrated to the United States as a teenager. Before founding Calendly, he had started a few other businesses, including one that sold projectors and another that sold garden tools, that flopped.

Thoh: Below is the so called alleged blasphemy by DEBORAH. Are we really in one country?
SULTANATE COUNCIL OF SOKOTO APOLOGIZES TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR THE MURDER OF DEBORAH, STUDENT WHO SAID JESUS IS THE GREATEST AND JESUS MADE HER PASS HER EXAMS
It's unfortunate.
Her crime was that she said that Jesus was the greatest and that Jesus made her pass her exam.
That is what they call blasphemy.
It's not that she said anything against their religion.
She talked about her own religion and Christ.
It is now blasphemy for Christians to speak of their faith in this secular country called Nigeria.
Lanre Ayoola. In as much as I hate the killing of Deborah, it's quite unfortunate she did not guide her anger in the WhatsApp group that was meant to pass educational info, I was in a professional group where we were supposed to be discussing professional matters, but the Hausa guys turned the group to religious group, when I discovered this I exit myself out of the group without provoking anyone. When you stay or live in the northern part of Nigeria, there's little tolerance to negative speech against Islam. It's a pity she wasn't smart enough to call for help before the attack, even though she was aware of the threat coming for her. I condem the killing of Deborah, it's not necessary. |

Amotolongbo: SO your lord is just sitting down somewhere and watching a “devoted” child of his to be killed, maimed, raped and dehumanised without saving the child? Since the Lord can and will eventually judge, why waiting for long to execute the judgement and save his child before allowing the worst to happen?
I tire for imported Nigerian religions o. One God promises eternity full of 0rgasm to his followers and demand aggressiveness and ruthlessness from the followers against anyone who blasphemed. The other God sits down and promises eternity to the follower who allows himself to be persecuted and slain in his name.
The Europeans that brought the religion, are they this “mumu”?. They obviously sold this religion to us to make us docile to their oppression, colonialism and slavery. This is why Africa is not growing. The heart of a Blackman wey carry religion for head is not pure. I will continue to say this anywhere anytime. |

Romance › Re: Is Sex Necessary In A Relationship? by percytargy: 7:02pm On Dec 12, 2020 |
Nazgul: To me sex isn't necessary.
From my past relationships, if I'm to advice any girl I'll tell them to avoid sex and stand on it. Sex makes you suspicious of your partner. It makes you have unnecessary problems, unnecessary commitments, unnecessary responsibilities.... etc. How many guys would you keep offering your body to just to make them stay?
What makes most guys wants sex is when the financial demand from the girl becomes too much. Most girls will tell you that they're not ready for sex, but will still want you to show dedicated financial commitments towards them. No guy will ever agree to that.
Many girls naturally lack wisdom. Let me share a my own experience here. I met this girl some years ago, she told me her usual no sex till marriage. I asked her if she's a virgin she said no that she dated just one guy who broke her heart and now she has decided to zip up till her wedding night.
To me, I didn't have any problem with that. My problem was that this girl literally flirts on the phone with guys even in my presence. When I confront her she'll tell me they're just toasters that she doesn't have anything with them. She receives calls like a call center agent. Always on Facebook and WhatsApp till even midnight. And to make matters worse she's the urgent 2k type. So tell me would any guy in my shoes honour her request to date without sex....of course not. I had to end the whole stuff cos she wasn't contributing to my life in anyway. Most times I initiate a discussion with her on chat, she can't even sustain it without indirectly telling me one problem or the other she has.
My take...if you don't want sex in a relationship and you don't want to have any problem with your man concerning your stand, then avoid unnecessary request so it won't make him feel that you're owing him. Avoid flirting with other guys on phone and in reality. Concentrate on your relationship by looking for ways to make an impact in his life. It could be through business ideas, could be counseling, could be partnership in business, education...etc. also develop yourself. Let him see that your life is progressing. That you're successful in whatever it is that you're into.
Make him see you as someone he can't do without and he'll stick to you regardless of your no sex stand. I agree with you 100% |

It's is a good thing you stop masturbation. It's another good thing you're having feelings with the opposite sex. My advice is this, take masturbation as a sickness that requires a doctor. The doctor is a woman. Get a woman not for fun but for a serious relationship. Masturbation ends when you get married |
