Thank God for today. I had my interview at Ikeja VFS today, now the waiting begins. When do you guys think decision will be made. My school resumed yesterday and I have until 10th October to enrol. I hope this upcoming public holidays will spoil my plan. #Grace #Favor #Speed. That's all I need O Lord. |
silouette: All you need to do is write a letter addressed to the The British High Commission explaining the error made and the correct information. After introducing yourself you can draw a table with item number, error and correction columns. Item number is the question number in the visa form printout which you made error in.Thanks |
DonOms: A form you filled and submitted online... you can't alter anything on the print out. The letter can be directed to the UKVI Abuja address. The important thing is that they read it and be notified of the error. Just add the letter to your documents to be submitted. Thanks DonOms. You have been of great help. |
crown86: There is nothing you could do about that. But you could explain on the paper form. Are you studying outside London Bourough or Inside?Inside London borough. U mean I should alter d value on the form? |
DonOms: Cool. Just write a formal letter pointing out the error and add it to your application.Okay, Thank you. But can I alter with pen? And Who will I direct the letter to? |
I mistakenly fill amount per week instead of per month in the "HOW MUCH FUNDING HBO PER MONTH DO YOU HAVE TO COVER YOUR MAINTENANCE CHARGES?". wrote 322 instead of 1288. However I have a sponsorship letter from the federal government showing the actual figure per year. Should I be worried? I'm yet to go for Biometrics. Thanks |
DonOms: Have you submitted your application (documents and interview)?I'm yet to submit. My interview is scheduled for 23rd September. |
I'm yet to submit. My interview is scheduled for 23rd September. |
My Ogas in the house, help me oooo I made a mistake in the cost of maintenance per month section, I wrote the the amount of week (322) instead of month (1288) but the overall maintenance (16744) for the duration of the course is correctly stated as specified on my sponsorship letter. Do you think that will be a problem? |
Thank God for such an informative thread like this. Thumbs up to everyone Who has made this happen. I already fixed an appointment @ Vfs Ikeja for 23rd September. Is there a way I can attend My interview before this date? I'll love to have it on Friday. Secondly, the expected departure date on My application form is 18th September. Hope that won't affect My application. My school will resume on 22nd September and I really hope I can leave by 30th Max. Thanks |
HudsonBanks: Based on the rumor that VFS might soon stop handling visa applications to the UK I personally think UKBA is trying to hand over visa processing to teleperformance fully that's why a new Abuja office for teleperformance just opened.I guess so. but the surprising thing is that Victoria Island Centre is the only office on Teleperformance website. Nothing about the Abuja office as at the time this morning. I just hope VFS release other appointment date for the month. I can't afford to enter a deadlock situation with teleperformance. *Prayer time* |
I hail all my oga in the house. Anybody know why there is no appointment date in VFS Abuja from next monday?
|
perfect08: Kudos to all gurus that has made this thread very informative. The information on this thread is priceless. My ogas (Justwise, SpikeC and co), abeg oo .. I'm still waiting for responses oooo. Thanks |
mhoreh: Have never heard of teleperformance abuja, infact there's no such option when picking preferred place of interview, its just VI, Ikeja and AbujaCheck this out!

Kudos to all gurus that has made this thread very informative. The information on this thread is priceless. I'm planning to schedule my interview for next week but currently, VFS Abuja have no appointment date for next week. I want to inquire about Teleperformance office in Abuja. I've read a lot of comments about the VI office but nobody is talking about their Abuja office. It seems VFS Abuja and Teleperformance Abuja split the month in half; VFS handles till 12th while Teleperformance handles the rest. Is their Abuja office as bad as the Lagos Office? The latest day on my CAS for arrival is 10th Oct but school resumes officially on 22nd. I don't know the best option right now. Please help. Thanks |
spikesC: officially, it takes 15 working days, but depending on how fast the application center is and the period you submitted, it can even go as low as 2 working days.Thank you @spikesC. More Grace to you |
presiade: ^^Well, if I were in you shoes, I would just go and enquire from another center and let them tell me they won't conduct the test for me...Okay, Thanks. I'll put a call through to their Lagos Center. |
presiade: Go and do the test at another UKBA recommended hospital. spending about N20k is far better than loosing the sponsorship.@presiade Thank you for the response. But is that possible? I had the same intention before but the nurse said their system in other test center will reject it. I thought how that could be possible unless they use my passport number as a unique identifier. Do you think the nurse is lying? Thank you! |
spikesC: You're still on schedule. You can still submit your application but should book an appointment after the date you collect the TB certificate.@spikesC Thank you for the prompt response. I think I'll go with your advice on that and take the risk. but I thought pbs tier 4 student Visa application processing takes just 5-10 working days. The 3 weeks you quoted is baffling me. Can they give me a special consideration and hasten the processing of my visa given the information on my CAS? Thank you once again. God bless you abundantly |
Good day to the gurus in the house, I came across this thread while searching for solution for my current challenge. I read through this thread and I really appreciate the info on this thread. I was given an unconditional offer by UCL for September 2014 Entry, My CAS has been sent to me few days ago and I have started the online application. I also have Sponsorship letter from the federal government accepting responsibilities for the course fee and living expenses. But my challenge is this, I went to IOM office Abuja on monday to conduct the TB test, I did the X-ray but the doctor was not satisfied with the result hence the need for a sputum test. The result of this test will not be ready until 15th September. This means I cant submit my application before this date. My questions are: 1. Can I still apply for the Visa on 15th September given the the programme starts on 22nd September? 2. If so, Which center will be faster in such state? 3. My CAS states that my latest date of acceptance is 10/10/2014, does that mean I can still make it after the 22nd Resumption date. Please gurus, advice me on what to do because this issue has been hunting me throughout the week. Thank you for your kind reply. God bless You! |
julioralph: RIPwhat's d meaning of that? |
Hi, my name was on the list too. I couldn,t believe it because i applied for DE and score 72% in the post jamb. I picked it as the second choice. I am so happy. I pray they release a supplementary list so that others will have the opportunity to share in this glorious moment. |
