Okay, so I booked flight for saturday, then decided to pray, count on faith and pay Etiebet's place a visit yesterday, and yeah visa was neatly embossed on my passport, sealed and collected.

For those who wanna know how long? I applied 8th Sept, Submitted biometrics 17th Sept @Vfs ikeja, Approval mail came on 25th Sept, Picked passport up 3rd Oct. My visa says issued 23rd though. I didn't get an SMS even though I paid for it. And I didn't register with TPcontact.

For my team-tier4 still waiting, best wishes, pls pray, I believe yours would all be out soon. I'll be heading off to the airport pretty soon, still packing up
So if ya see a plane fly by, it might just be me in there, say hi and wave a lil to the sky and thank God for me, it would mean a lot to me.

l had a sputum test done with IOM after my Chest X-Ray result was inconclusive and was told to waste for 8 WEEKS for the results. They said l would be called when the result is ready. Now the 8 weeks is up and have called them to ask about result and was told to wait till called. This is not satisfactory . Please. l need advice from people with similar experience . And to add , l really do have a very negative opinion about the services provided by this IOM people. Or l`m l wrong in my opinion,what do you think? Experts in the house, l need your contributions.

mosiate: I submited 19/09 and received approval mail on thursday 25/09, and I was told it's not ready yet. So I didn't collect. Been tracking also and it's still "it's been forwarded to British High Commision for processing", kinda scared tho.

jamela: Yea I tried to. Was there friday @ about 4, the guys at the gate apologized that they closed an hour earlier due to the transition and won't let anyone in. Somehow I got in anyway, and one of the collection officers helped me check and said mine has not been placed on transit. But should be there definitely before Thursday. So do the maths.

mosiate: FYI ppl, VFS has relocated to etibebe's place in mobolaji anothy beside Eko hospital in ikeja. Was @ their Billings way office today for collection and we were all redirected there.

jamela: 17th september, I have not received any mail yet and was wondering if processing times have changed because the msg I got that evening was 'forwarded to deputy high commision' and I understand that is located in lagos not abuja (High commision).
