PoliticsRe: How Buhari Plans To Wipe Out Boko Haram, Create Jobs—Osinbajo by PerfectFortune: 10:05am On Dec 23, 2014
Comsol:
This is the problem with these politicians, they talk carelessly without making any sense.

You didn't state how you'll support every state to create those number of jobs. Also you didn't state how much stipend you'll pay to youth corps members and how this social program will be sustained.

You may be a seasoned lawyer but I'm afraid this response shows your lack of basic economics sense.
You expect him to state all that on twitter with the little available space to write? You must be a comedian.

Hypocrites
You are one big bigot. I wonder how you got to be a mod on this forum.

SS/SE started this whole nonsense (threatening Ameachi and Rochas for pitching tent with the APC) and am yet to see a post from you comdemning it and now that it has been retaliated by the Northerners, you have this sudden urge to speak. Mmnnnn...

Well, am not quite familiar wit stats about pros whether in d SW or any where. I don't patronize pros! But am quite sure that d legit ones and d married ones re much more disposed to patronage! Without anyform sentiment, I ve never b4 seen this level of willing disposition from women! Some of them ve stated accusing me of being naïve! But am not! I can't quite bleep them all that cross my part!
Am also familier with quite a number of married Igbo and SS women who are willing and have been accused of being promiscus. You leave in the SW where the majority (80prcnt) are yorubas and you are expecting a fair statistics? Nollywood is a better industry where you can get a fair statistics. Is any tribe immune to divorce as a result of adultary? Igbo women find me very attractive and I am very close to igbo women and I can tell you they are not any better except a few ones that has been made to swear to an oat. Professional pros in Nigeria are 70percnt Igbos, 25percnt SS and you don't have to do them to know. It's a common knowledge.

My bro take it easy! I currently live in d South West! In d SW adultery is cheaper than fornication! Believe me sincerely am no tribal bigot!
And out of every 100 "Ashis" (prostitutes) in the southwest/Nigeria, there are 70 Igbos and perhaps 25 South-Southerners.

Biggot.

cost N15000 each. currently establishing a contact in lagos; that would be ready by the second week of January.

BBM : 7F0C3F92
That is quite expensive cosidering the fact that regUlar foreign-made chanderlias cost from 8k and above depending on size and quality.

Your product is unique but don't you think the price may hinder the quantity of sale in the long run? You need good pricing to break into the market before raising it (price) in the long run.

Nice one. You would have preferred a professional politician from the east even if he's got nothing to offer? Just the way you guys voted GEJ with total sentiment.

Mind you, southwesterners did not vote Obasanjo and they never supported him throughout his stay in Aso-Rock even though he is one of their own. Their sentiment was based on issues and not tribe.

Tell me, how has the stay of GEJ in Aso-Rock for the last 8years (2yr VP + 6yrs President) been able affect the lives of SS people other than enriching the purse of a few thugs in the region? Has their life really been touched?

Think twice and let the wind of change blow.

ibson99:
Ok, impressive cv. But the guy is unpopular I just hope his unpopularity won't affect the elections cos we need change badly.
My Bro, popularity alone is not enough to effect the desired change we need. It takes a man with high level of economic experience, top leadership skill and above all, high moral standard to effect the desired change not professional politicianss with little or nothing to offer. Besides, the man is very popular in the south-west most especially Lagos and among christians.

Fashola was never popular when Tinubu brought him but he has proven himself to be a man of the people.

You have asked for a true professional (technocrate) and you have been given one.

Let the wind of change blow...
PoliticsGmb's Running Mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo's Profile by PerfectFortune(op):
Below is the fantastic CV of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, GMB's running mate. A devoted christian, professional per excellence and by far an economic analyst. I have listened to him on several occasions at DayStar Christian Center and the Platform analysing economic issues and proferring practical solutions to them especially the education sector and I can tell you he is a man with wealth of experience.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Senior Partner in the Law firm of Simmons Cooper Partners.

His tertiary education was at the University of Lagos and the London School of Economics and Political Science obtaining the LLB and LLM degrees respectively.

He was appointed Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in 1999 and reappointed for a second term in 2003. During the period of his public service, he commenced the Lagos State justice reform project. A prominent feature of that project was the establishment of the Directorate for Citizens’ Rights (DCR) which provides free legal services and legal representation to indigent citizens of the state. This initiative gave a voice to many who would otherwise not have a way to access their rights.

Prior to that appointment, Osinbajo, a Professor of Law, was the Head of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. Between 1988 and 1992, he was the Special Adviser to the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He also served as a staff member of the United Nations and Member of the United Nation’s Secretary General’s Committee of Experts on Conduct and Discipline of UN Peacekeeping personnel around the globe. He is currently an Ethics Advisor to the Ethics Committee of the African Development Bank and is a non-executive Director of Citibank.

Prof. Osinbajo is Co-founder & Board Member Convention on Business Integrity and the Justice Research Institute Ltd. He has also authored several law books. In 2007, Prof. and his wife Oludolapo founded “The Orderly Society Trust”, a non- governmental organization that is dedicated to the promotion of Christian ethics and orderliness.

He also pastors at Olive Tree House of Prayer for All Nations, Banana Island, a parish of the RCCG and lives in Lagos with his wife and three children.

Mind you; in as much as I believe that corruption is deep rooted in Nigeria but I am not also, accusing GEJ of being corrupt because I have no evidence to that. And I can't because one's political opponents are saying that he's corrupt now join the bandwagon and accuse him of same...where's my evidencehuh? Or don't you think its character assassination to accuse falsely without evidencehuh?.... Good leadership is good but what is good leadership to youhuh? Because I see people here pass judgement on issues they don't even understand.

PoliticsRe: What Prominents Nigerians Says About Buhari by PerfectFortune: 6:35pm On Dec 13, 2014
Whynotthetruth:
Good words & nice collections for his library but those can't guarantee a successful leader or leadership in a democratic setting with independent minds and arms of government.

Mind you; integrity which is his main assets cannot change Nigeria over night...How can he change national assembly member's personality? how about the average Nigerian man? Ask an average Nigerian what he will do if picked as a president today...? He will quickly tell you how he will enrich himself and family....that's corruption beyond entrenched in the bone marrow of our society... can he change that within 4 years or even 8yearshuh?? its impossible...
What you wrote up there simply means: "A good leadership does not guaranty a good followership".

But I can tell you that when the head is good, the body does not have a choice. Would you rather have a bad head on a bad body? Would you rather keep a bad leader because you think 4/8 years is not enough to right the wrong? Nobody believe Fashola could achieve what he has been able to achieve in 8years. People in Lagos secretariate that used to work like uncivilized people now work with diligence only because the head is good.

Think about that.
