I said seemingly unbiased and neutral according to the first and second paragraph.

If you percieve Channels as being bias then am surprise you are persecuting GMB for expressing his fear (No confidence) on AIT, NOA, BON etc as Channels TV is by far more neutral than all of them which is why they have been awarded the best TV station for 8years running.

Why do you think GEJ boycotted the very first debate organised by a seemingly unbiased umpire like Channels TV in 2011 but chose to show up for a staged debate by NOA, AIT, NTA which he was made to do alone when other three major contenders also decided to shun it?

If they are interested in making GMB debate, they should do so through a neutral umpire like respected Channels TV and Businessday Media.

Ameachi has retracted that and as for the Northerners, you know how they can be - very gullible with due respect to the good sane ones.

Besides, those statements were made before the peace pact was signed and to an extent they have refrained from repeating such.

My write-up is only to remind the SS/NDeltans that they may not be far from becoming as barbaric as the "Northerners" if care is not taken.

Intelligence is the best option. With that you can achieve much and get the "West" to support you.

Part of my point

I laugh when I hear some people talk about war like it is an ordinary strEet fight between Iya Sikira and Mama Chidi over a stall at the market.

War brings nothing but destruction and he who starts a war does not know what the end will look like.

The likes of Tompolo, Asari-Dokubo and the rest talking about war have never witnessed one before and pls don't compare the militancy operation in the Niger Delta with one. Majority of them will run away when the chips are down only to return years later to be self acclaimed war loords while lots of other lives and properties has already been lost. Afterall, they have nothing to loose.

Govt Tompolo and Asari-Dokubo were known for fighting for the rights of SS/NDelta until the amnesty and multi billion naira contracts were awarded to them. They (militants not ex) instead of investing in the NDelta or giving back to the helpless youth on the streets of NDelta they take their money and investments abroad, move around in convoy, gather chieftaincy titles and grow pot bellies.

When it seems like its not going to be business as usual, they resort to threat and begin to remind the unsuspecting Ndeltans that the North is against them so as to get their sympathy.

To help the people of NDelta unravel the mysery, please consider the following questions:

1. Has the FG not been giving out money and contracts to the Militants since the amnesty?

2. What are the contributions of the said militants to the region since amnesty and contract sharing?

3. Does any of the militants bother reinvesting in the region?

4. Does any of them have an investment outside the region, in the country or abroad? If yes, why?

5. Has GEJ been able to impact on and develop the region considerably in the last 6years of his rule? If no, why?

6. Why did the Militants keep quiet over non-development of the area (ND) in the last 6yrs (still)?

7. Why does the Militants want GEJ re-elected if he has not been able to develop the NDelta or atleast do somthing meaningful to impact +ly on the region in the last 6years?

8. Could the Militants have contributed to the reason why GEJ could't even do much to develop the region?

My ppl from the NDelta, pls don't allow illiterates to push you around. Atleast you need to consider your strenght (population, arm etc) before calling for war.

I believe your strength should be based on intelligence and technicality which is acclaimed to be the best weapon in winning a battle.

Blame everything on the "OPPOSITIVE" without investigation so as to gather sympathy votes.

If the North decide do be bigots and the East stylishly follow suit, then same tactics may work on both region.

Leadership tussle they say it is but in little or no time they will blame it on the opposition.

Easterners should insist on thorough investigation and prosecution of perpetrators else the "Boko Style" is there (in the East/SS) to stay.

I suggest you partner with others who will voluntier help train the youth in various skill after which they will be empowered and monitored.

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Tunde Kuku has in an interview with Metro Times expressed surprise at the growing concern of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) over Gen. Muhammadu Buhari's eligibility to contest in the upcoming general elections describing the entire scenario as a failed distraction attempt.

"I really don't know why the presidency and the PDP are making mountains out of nothing over Gen. Buhari's certificates. He (GMB) contested in three previous elections in this country and there was never an issue over hiS certifificates. So, why now? For me, it is a failed distraction attempt by the PDP and as you can see we (APC) more focused now than ever" he said

The former LGA chairman in Lagos state also stressed that Gen. Buhari has not breached any law by swearing to an affidavit in place of his certificates but will only be said to have gone against the law only if any of the informAtion provided by him is found to be false.

His words - "there is nothing wrong in him (GMB) swearing to an affidavit in place of his certificates. He will only be said to have breached the law if any of the information provided by him is found to be false. I mean, if GMB claim to have attended a School in Nigeria or anywhere else for instance and anybody feels otherwise, the sane thing for such person to do is to inquire from the school instead of resorting to cheap blackmail"

Gen. Buhari while addressing newsmen at Rivers state government lodge in Abuja also said "there were individuals who have written to the United States War College and the college answered them and they were published in the newspapers"

The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari while delivering a speech at the official Inauguration of the APC presidential campaign committee in Abuja on Monday lauds the governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Ameachi for his commitment and contribution to the success the party has recorded so far referring to him as a fighter and someone who never fails in all assignment given to him.

“I trust in the leadership of his excellency Gov. Rotimi Ameachi to drive the presidential campaign of our prestigious and great party as he is a fighter who never fails in all assignment given to him. He is committed and has contributed immensely to the success achieved so far by our great party” – GMB

He also used the opportunity to advice the party (APC) supporters to abstain from any unruly behavior before, during and after the election urging them to be vigilant at all time.

“I urge my supporters not to insult or be rude to any other aspirant or party leader on my behalf. My supporters must not engage in any kind of behavior or conduct that will tarnish the image of any leader or cause division and rancor within the party. Whoever does that should know he or she is working for the enemy.

At the same time, I will like to urge you to be good ambassadors of the opposition. In our party, the opposition is committed to the rule of law and as member/supporter of the party you must learn to do the same at all time. In particular, you must learn to be vigilant especially before, during and immediately after elections whether you are right or wrong so that purported hoodlums are not made to commit illegalities that are in the end blamed on you.

Not only must you not take law into your hands, you must also be able to expose those that are planning to do so before they act.”

The ex-military head of state also expressed optimism for a landslide victory at the poles, saying it will be unprecedented.

“We undertake to end the reign of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), a party that has proved clueless in every material particular, which has failed to address any of the important concerns of the people of the country, which has failed to deal squarely with the great security challenge that has faced this nation in the last 5years and it remain touchy.

It is not a matter of whether we will win at the poles comes February, it is a matter of the landslide victory we shall record and it will be unprecedented,” he said

He however vowed to secure Nigerians and ensure no one goes to bed hungry.
